Well said. I consider polymer sticker fired guns as throw away work horses and my steel guns like my 1911s and P220 guns are guns you pass on to family. That said I would choose my P220 legion 45acp with my red dot if I lived in a state with a 10 round mag restriction. Thinner gun and I can get and build some powerful 45acp
Yeah, I wouldn't consider any polymer framed gun a "pass down" gun either. That black g17 does have some sentimental value to me though. It has gone on a lot of adventures with me as my ccw gun.
