More affordable? They are the same size , same material etc as the bigger calibers just Bc it’s a .22 doesn’t mean it should be half the price

Totally agree. Everything is more expensive these days but you’re not buying junk here. This “real” gun will last forever. You can’t compare this to a Heritage or a Wrangler, or Taurus.

This is basically the same firearm as the big brother as far as producing it. Just chambered in 22lr. The Colt and Ruger versions are similarly priced in their line ups.

Not a real gun? You know how many sentries have been neutralized and hits have been made with 22LR????

Yea they are expensive but I’ll bet your great grandkids will be shooting it one day. I have a model 17 that was my dads and I’m over 60 now.

I’ve had mine for almost a year. What a fun revolver to shoot. The stock rubber grips are great, but I replaced them with Hogue wooden grips and the gun looks even better. I also could not manage the black sights, and replaced them with a set of fiber optics.

“Same as a real gun” it is a real gun🤣 I’ve sadly had to use my 1911 .22 for an intruder and he was down in 3. (Survived)

I put a red dot on mine and I can hit a 8" gong at 200yards six out of ten, great gun.

We're lucky its not MORE expensive than a 686. Its the same exact gun, but requires more machining and finish work. Ive got a 686 and a 617. It makes a great introductory gun for new shooters.

@@StevenCharles-jp4du lol, yes, still have the hot pink sig! I need to do a review on it too, and see how the finish holds up. Ammo is just discouraging right now.
