Just wondering , if you can't go above 0 db (on my first digital recorder- Boss BR8 - o d8d this anf never again. My first and last lesson on that...lol) then why do they put extra room on the faders to do this? You would think the very top of the faders would be 0 db.... clipping problem solved.
Hi. I would like to send my sound card input on ch 15 & 16 stereo in and havle like three different monitors connected to it. Is the best way to run the Aux-channels for that? 17+18 out to genelec, 19+20 out to blue sky and 21+22 to krk vxt....I thought I could just mute the pair of speakers i dont wanna listen to.....how to do that?? the whole set up...
Also have a Yamaha 02r I don t get a signal at the stereo mix The signal led at the gain lights up, so there s a signal but it doesn t come to the stereo mix although i did the routing... Question: what to do? Kind regards Zla...

The same as with an analog! Every channel has an insert in/out which you connect it to you recorder.

Not now it doesn't make great sense. You can probably drive it from midi or rs-422 but original software may not work with x64 o/s

If you have a quiet source on a fader and need to boost it 10db it still may not clip the meter
