Wow I never expected to see my favorite deck in this channel, in my experience this deck has 2 ways of building it, combat or storm combo, I started with the combat one but slowly transition to the combo list, with just Zada, 5 creatures and a draw spell is usually a win (if no one interrupt your plays). For your list you are missing 2 budget cards that work as pseudo draw, Blazing Crescendo and Spark of Creativity, both let you exile the top of the library and you can play that card, spark is until the end of turn for 1 mana, but crescendo is until the end of your next turn and buff your creatures for +3/+1. Other budget card that is incredible here is Haze of Rage, 2 mana buyback 2 with storm to buff all your creatures, with storm kiln artist on board is infinite treasures and infinite power, throw young pyromancer in the mix, now is infinite tokens. It is not hard to pull off since you're drawing your deck anyway. Love your content man. Keep going!
Great vids man. Found your channel recently, love the humor. One of my favorite decks but unfortunately, I don't get to play it often and at the rare occasion I do, it is not fun. Don't get me wrong, the deck works. Works too well. Unfortunately everyone knows it works too well. People give an arm and a leg to remove anything and everything I put on the board because of how menacing the deck is.
Its a good one or two use in my opinion. I ran into the same issue, I still think about it a lot tho. Plus just because I've had my fun with it dont mean others shouldnt try it out! (Especially for the price)
I love the fact Zada is in every deck of mine with Red, because is pretty awesome combos outta nowhere( Daring Discovery is really absurd for casting spells free :D)
Great video man, when I first got into magic Zada was the first deck I made and I made it so cheap and was really nervous that it was going to underpeform, in the first or second game with the deck I got to kill everyone in a single turn and was in awe of my power. Sadly my play group realised that Zada should be dead on sight after I won a couple games and I soon came to realise that I didnt run nearly any interaction and was playing a glorified solitare, yet I still play the deck a good bit and let the TV static fill my brain as I cast expedite and 5 pump spells to sneak a win in.
Yep. I cut those for other cards. Best part is that the cardpool for Zada is an everflowing stew. I used to run it with like 10 extra instants that i'd just swap in and out between games to see if it works better next time.
Another banger. I'm not sure if you've already thought about it and decided not to put it in because its Mad Janky, but consider Desperate Ritual plus some assortment of the red arcane spells that can target a creature (preferably without killing it; Blazing Shoal is probably the best one). If you splice Desperate Ritual onto the arcane and zada copies it for all of your creatures, you have made one gorbillion red mana.
Great stuff man!! I love ur attitude. And another thing I really appreciate is that when you say it’s an 18 dollar deck it’s usually pretty darn close. Usually I watch a deck tech they’re like “ok cool 40 dollar deck!” I plug it into TCG player and it’s 180 dollars… I get it with shipping and all that but that should be included in the price (sorta) ok that’s all! Keep it up
When i met him at Magic Con Chicago he signed my friend's playmat, my dumb brain immediately blurted out "Wow you're left handed? You're a genetic freak!" And he looked up at me with the biggest most confused eyes of disbelief filled with the haze of a convention weekend.
Lost to a zada last week. Can confirm wins outta nowhere. But the pilot got confused on all the copies. He was trying to hurry himself and got lost in the triggers, so just take your time with the deck.
Yeah, it can be confusing. Here is how i'd order the casting priority so as to make it less confusing: 1: Spells thad scry, use them to prepare for the final run then spells that draw. 2: Buff the power, trample is important but also mostly incedental. 3: Keywords like first or double strike 4: Double the power. Get all the effects done then double their effectiveness. Add the total buff together to get a "plus number", then add that plus number to the creature power and double it if you did. That should make it better for those who may struggle, some of the spells do intermingle but the last thing that should be done is always double power.
I Play Zada with storm-kiln, with fist of flames my wincon. On Arena the spells options are limited, but witch's mark, and the one from Midnight's Hunt, with steam kins to give me mana. Of course I play some other creature but that the main bit of the deck
oh man my prefered strategy, when comat dmg isnt on the table, is buffing my army with brute force and inordinate rage and following it up with farideh's fireball. if you have 10 creatures on the table thats 20 damage guarinteed to each player with you having 55% chance of taking no damage per roll. so odds are your going to take 8 and each opponent is taking 20.... and the best part is the first spell being countered doesnt stop this mess. best part is if your already controlling Storm-kiln artist your making treasures for days. also ever zada deck needs fist of flames period
I like the 'is this deck good? no. Is it fun? yes' mentality. Definitely my favourite flavour decks
11 at night vidya about commander. Just what the doctor ordered.
You'll find the prescription at your nearest TH-cam pharmacy.
I love this guy so funny. The BAH at the end kills me.
as a condiment covered baby once said- "aa"
This was highly entertaining and informative. First video - easy sub.
i gotta say, your videos are just fantastic. its quite obvious that you enjoy creating these videos and it is infectious

The epitome of a red deck this one, goes in with a bang and then out like a candle :D
Red at its finest. The flash paper of magic.
I call my version of this deck, Bada Bing Zada Boom
Fuhget abaht it!
nice, i can practically hear the quote.@@PowerBudgetTCG
Zada is perfect for budget decks 😄 (and Obstinate Familiar is a hilarious play)
Your video editing is fun and your deck ideas are nice!

Always funny to hear " Zada? What's that?" in my playgroup testing ground.
the true goblins fans know so well

As the prophecy foretold.
Other cards that could be included are Ancestral anger, crimson wisps and academic dispute

Shouts out to the upgrades list including a cheap and viable card that ups the goofiness. Sometimes you gotta prioritize giggles over optimization.
My efficiency metric is based on Smiles per Gallon.

With that much mana-- It's Gorbin Time!

I'm so glad to have found this channel. Love the format. Keep it up!
Great content my dude! Definitively going to build this for my next commander night. Keep at it!

Sounds like a fun chaotic build!

Oh my god Obstinate Familiar is my new favorite MtG card
Ral's Reinforcements is another spell that makes one to one mana to creatures.
As we would need 🫡
Really enjoy your content :)
Would you take suggestions for commanders ?
Absolutely! I can't guarantee it'll make a video but if I like it I may just tech a deck anyway.
ty grind daddy
Haha 🤣

It’s all fun and games until your opponent plays settle the wreckage.
Oh god, even thrn all i could do is laugh.
am I wrong for rewatching this because I am sure it will make me laugh? >.>
Wait a second... This isn't four colors!
Yes it is? Are you 🤨
I love your socks
Gotta rock the Socks n' Crocs
It's not a huge thing imo, but in lore, Zada is a girl.
Only mentioning in case anyone starts questioning their memory like I did.

Totentanz is german, you speak it more like "Toeh-ten-taantss"
Oh, like "Dance of the Dead"
@@PowerBudgetTCG yes, Totentanz is the dance the dead has with every human all the time.
