This song is about a man who’s still waiting for his lover even after many years of the war (North Korea and South Korea). He is describing what his lover looks like and what her personality is like and asking if anyone has seen her or know about her…. Some of the families divided by the Korean war more than 70 years ago had an opportunity to meet briefly near the borders but many people are still looking for their loved ones and family members. This is a very sad song and unbelievable performance for sure!
We know who actually should have received the trophy but the show has to introduce and support the new singers etc etc. I used to get upset but now I understand so I just relax and enjoy the show . The winner was young n sweet and innocent . His choice of song was good too. However I felt he didn't sing too much as the background singers were featured a good portion of the time.
