He is working as an Assistant, which is a BPS 16 job. The official name mentioned on all documents regarding his post is Assistant. Stop over glorifying your post. You're actually working as a senior clerk and your responsibilities are putting up files for the Section Officer who subsequently moves the file to the relevant Deputy Secretary.
