@@patriciaward4860 God bless you too! I’ve recently realized I need to share this information, for it underlies part of why our ministry is so important! Our Lord designed us to sing to Him!

They call this mind body syndrome. Our emotions and the pain signals are interpreted in the same area of the brain. The fear of pain can create even more pain. Our emotional pain can actually cause physical pain in the body. It makes a lot of sense. Lessening stress and placing our fear in God's hands will give us the strength to endure.

You are onto something, Laura! WOW! For me, it has been the reality of 1 John 4:18...perfect love casts out all fear! So, where do we see and know God's love for us? At the cross of Jesus Christ. This is why I share weekly playlists that focus us on Christ crucified and risen in God's love for us!
We do suffer, we do experience lots of pain, and we're easily afraid in this stress-full world, so the risen Lord tenderly reaches to us as His beloved and says, "Don't be afraid. I am with you." Praying for that abiding in His love (Jn. 15:9) as we each bring every fearful thought to Him and hear His answers back in Scripture.
