This video was actually perfect for me.. today I worked on one of these for the first time and it got me out of a bind. I typed in infrared humidifier and this video popped up
I’m on one of these and found the fuses blown to the humidifier. Found nothing grounded. Replaced fuses and it’s working properly. Any idea what could cause them to blow on this type of humidifier?
@@HVACKnowItAll Thanks for the reply. We have a liebert CRAC unit that is full of calcium and I was worried the float switch was stuck to prevent water from filling up. I'll keep investigating. Thanks!
hello we have a Liebert Pex HVAC today The machine has received an alarm code "Humidifier Problem". Where should I check? Switch that is supposed to cause an alarm when the water level in the equipment rises. Does it only cause an alarm cord that says it's a “humidifier problem”?
Nice video, HVAC Know It All. Do you like or dislike that style of humidification better than steam cylinders? I have never ran across that setup yet or that controller. Removing that pan for cleaning looks like fun. Looks like you were working in a ceiling. 8 months later I respond, lol.
Exactly what I worked on today. This video was very helpful, thank you.

Please keep the music on low volume or mute so one can hear you
this video is old man, the music in my more recants videos is much better thank you
is it common for the pan to be dry if the unit isn't calling for humidification? Or should there always be water sitting in the pan?
Yes, if it hasn't called in a while it can dry out.

So what does the refrigerant compressor do? Was that part of another video?
It's responsible for cooling the space
Can't hear what you're saying for all the music.

Why add the instrumental music though? I can hardly hear what the dude is saying.
