  • The exterior is finally done. I did decide to stay with 12 levels. It turned out a lot better than I thought it would. Next step is an elevator and then furnish it. That will be the real challenge.

If you want to give this big guy a bit of variation. You can take some of the windows half out and make balconies on some floors. Maybe even add an extension on the front that opens into a party hall.

Hi Alex. Just an idea: at the top of your tower where you have the two "terraces/balconys", I think you could improve that space by make it a little bit bigger and create 1 or 2 helipads. That will change the shape of the "blocki" tower. The helipads will need Vshape pillars coming from the floor underneath but I think that would look cool. 😉

I am also a big fan of lego. Unfortunately I lack the space to build a city here at home. Yet I would also like to make a skyscraper out of lego. The only point is that parts are available, but in very limited numbers (max. 50 per store). Especially when it concerns rare items.
For the skyscraper you need roughly 500 Transparent Dark Blue Glass / Stone (Design ID: 46212 / Element ID: 6230045, 6251287) parts.
On average they cost € 0.70 x 500 = € 350, and then you are not there yet. An expensive cost, but lego still represents great value, and even seems to be gaining popularity given the development of more expensive models. In any case, among the real enthusiasts who want to pay for it. The price of the skyscraper is likely to rise to around 1200 euros.
If you go for the challenge, the big question is how you get the large amount of the same (rare) parts.

I am envious of your hyper accurate Avengers tower. I'm only recently getting the set. But I do have a base tower in the works that's about 8 stories, plus the penthouse, and a garage level basement. It is a massive undertaking and I've completed the base structure and height of the tower but need to decorate it, fill it out. And probably keep the back open for accessibility

I know this will sound boring but I think you should have at least 2 floors with cubicals and a copy room and make it a legit office. Maybe an R&D department. Have the big bosses office. Reception obviously. Board rooms. Lunch rooms. Maybe a cafeteria.
