My 1st Goose show - mind blown! 58 years old. 69 dead shows under my belt, hung out a bunch with Phish during my college years at UVM 84-88. These guys are locked in!!! I’d take them over Dead & Company any day of the week, twice on Saturday & 3 times on Sunday
Was such an amazing Madhuvan… at about the 20 minute mark I looked over at my homie and said, “I’ve never been so happy being scared”… Fawk!!!! Best version to date in my opinion! Stay sparkly my friends! 🤩
I was at those two shows in Colorado. I'm well into my sixth decade of life. Goose is the band I've wished for since I first heard music on my mom's AM radio.
I feel very fortunate to have been present for this one, and to be celebrating my birthday during the run. Thanks Goose for an amazing weekend, and as someone who attended the Raleigh Madhuvan, blessing us with another MONSTER!
cool creative jam, i'm ten mins in. i always liked when phish had a spacey PEW!PEW Pew pew PEW!PEW Pew pew reverb thing goin, and that nasty sustain for peaky jams! holdin a note, phew, fantastic
I’m going to see them Tuesday at Thompson’s point in Maine and I was thinking a little bit of Molly for the show but after listening to it, I’m taking a moderate dose of mushrooms because this is type two that phish would be proud of.
shelter something felt sure molten beads of his lotus feet dangle by his belt pure, pure, pure bhagavatam dhruva, madhuvan deep into the forest he will go no more demon roars
Ok, first, THANKS!👀🔥🎸🔥😁👍. Now, comparing these lads to Phish is like comparing Pearl Jam to STP.. similar in genre, absolutely different fruit. Agreed? ok. Now, yall ain’t said 💩 about the bad-ass THICK chunky BASS!!! That, and Cotters drumming is what is driving this jam, with accompanying players. Close “metal” comparison could be maybe hints of Sabbath… Geezer, Tony Ioomi , close👂comparison 👀.
…. and I’ve been fortunate to go to approximately 726 live shows. Looking forward to seeing my next (2nd) Goose show here in Los Angeles. Be well all, live music fans!!🌊🏄♂️🌊🎸💕👂👀👍
Sorry- is no one gonna mention how much this sounds like Phish?? And I'm not writing the whole thing off- but heavy heavy Phish influence on the song itself and also Rick's tone and approach.
@@andrewnichols7626 You're not serious, are you? Also- give me a timestamp for where these guys are playing metal. I'll wait. Also- I enjoyed this! I'm just saying I dont think it's very original.
18:45 until the end of the song?? Are you deaf? The only other bands in the jam genre that touch on metal are Umphrey’s, Lespecial, and Squeaky Feet, this is quite original considering that.
@@andrewnichols762618:45 literally sounds like a 3.0 Phish jam. And thats OK! Again- I very much enjoyed this whole thing. Well played and I'm sure a blast in person. Also- you left Phish out of the bands in the genre that touch on metal.
This is a beast. Multiple sections…. early weirdness, delicate bliss, dark raging…this has it all. 10/10 Madhuvan.
what's the biggest damn madhuvan you ever seen big jilm?!???

I feel the same way. These dudes are locked in for sure.
my 1st one was on Friday the night before.....ditto!

Settle in. This was all-time face melter. One of the best experiences I've had watching live music in my entire life.

I'm 3 minutes in and can't wait for the next 30!!!
Video does not do it justice. Soooo good. So thrilled I got to witness this live.
Absolutely fucking ripping gray improvisational jamming. I didn’t even know they could do this. I’m going to see them tomorrow. Wish me luck.
If I had only 30 minutes to show someone why Goose is the best, this is where I’m heading 🎉
it’s wild how locked in cotter is already in suchha short time 📈
Agreed. Its pretty crazy. Love his Jazzy style.

Absolute face melted of the night. Blown away, we were at both nights
I can't even begin to say how much this blows away their last 3 years. And I liked those last 3 years.
Cotter is soooo good on this. Anyone who isn't sold yet, honestly listen to this. Is this not the goat Maduvan? Can't wait to see them next weekend.
It was a great concert weekend. Goose full on “snake charmed” the crowd with this one!

That beginning soundin very possum to me.
