  • Here is a recipe for Namkeen Gosht without marination:
    Ingredients:
    1 kg mutton pieces (with bone)
    2 tablespoons oil or ghee
    2 onions, chopped
    2 cloves
    1 cardamom pod
    1 cinnamon stick
    1 teaspoon cumin seeds
    1 teaspoon coriander seeds
    1 teaspoon fennel seeds
    1 teaspoon turmeric powder
    1 teaspoon red chili powder
    1 teaspoon garam masala powder
    Salt, to taste
    2 cups water
    Fresh cilantro, for garnish
    Instructions:
    1. Heat oil or ghee in a large pot over medium heat.
    2. Add the chopped onions and cook until golden brown.
    3. Add the cloves, cardamom pod, cinnamon stick, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, and fennel seeds. Cook for 1 minute.
    4. Add the mutton pieces and cook until browned on all sides.
    5. Add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, and salt. Mix well.
    6. Add the water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer, covered, until the mutton is tender (about 1 1/2 hours).
    7. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with rice, roti, or naan.
    This recipe uses a blend of spices to flavor the mutton, without marination. The result is a delicious and flavorful Namkeen Gosht dish.
