My favorite moment with Hornby was in February where me and my friend were looking around Hornby, and we saw Mike & Ollie! 🤩 Thank you so much for a good year Hornby, and I can't wait for the 2025 stocks! Keep up the good work! 😁
Some great models this year in TT:120. Class 50, Duchess of atholl and class 66 I’ve received have been superb. Looking forward to seeing what Hornby brings out 2025. Black 5 in TT:120 would be amazing. Just saying. Great year Hornby 👍
Looking forward to the new releases wonder what they will be.I just recieved my new Black5 with steam generator today a super model and a great end to 2024.Still waiting for Eau De Chuff.🤣🎉🎉 Happy New Year 2025 to all at Hornby and to all Hornby fans.
Please make sure your microphones work well for this upcoming Q&A. The sound has not been the best for the last couple of Q&A's. I am very excited for the new range. Always a pleasure to watch.
You need to start producing the models you have already announced before promising more new models. Been waiting for the maroon Warship model for the last year and still no sign of it. It is not even a new tooling, what's the delay ?.
Can't wait for the 2025 new range please please please make a railroad plus crosscountry or fgw hst, less detail than the main range, but more detail than the current railroad! It'd be the absolute best loco in my opinion!!
A whole year from Hornby and, once again, not one single OO model to tempt me to buy a new Hornby.... no engines, coaches, wagons nor scenery. The only thing I have bought are some x8099 couplings to replace on my airfix 1980's coupling system still on some 'current' offerings, a replacement motor for a 2 year old failed motor in Drysllwyn Castle, and 2 failed DCC 8 pin socket circuit boards (not the decoder nor the blanking plate) Preorders? Yes, many: engines from Rapido, Dapol x3, accurascale and rolling stock from Rapido x5 and Dapol x2.....
For God's sake, Frank Hornby Is NOT Hornbys founder! FACT! It is Alexander Vanetzian, the inventor of Rovex Plastics that went onto become Triang Railways that put Hornby Dublo out of business. You need a lesson in history? Also Hornby have NOT been at the Margate factory for 70 years! Joke!
Somebody sure needs a history lesson. 70 years ago (1955) Triang Railways, emerging from Rovex, had barely begun to exist. Triang, later Triang Hornby, later Hornby Railways, was associated with the Margate factory for decades before production was eventually moved to China. Incidentally some of the former Hornby Dublo range were reissued under the Wrenn label until the 1990s and are themselves much sought after collectors' pieces. More recently the former factory became an admin HQ and visitor centre, recently refurbished. In future who knows?
You forgot to mention all of the models with quality issues and the rubbish you keep producing. But hey as long as your lining your pockets what do you care
Don't forget to join us here on 14th January 2025 for now Range Announcement! :)
@@HornbyModelRailways is that a week day?
An improvement to your train set controllers is a must they're rather flimsy
@Gatherleymodeller. It’s on a Tuesday.
@@tripwire3992 the controllers aren't designed to last.. They are for beginners and are not intended for big layouts

Happy New Year to everyone at Hornby. 🎉
Let's have a GWR Saint class please 🤞.
A railways, high detail saint, without the working head lights. With lady of legend as an option... Will sell like hot cakes!
Love the "denim" style advert... Got my smoke stack going... Lol

Are the lamps smaller Richard? They were like 0 gauge on the last release.
Yes there are smaller I cannot say if they are 00 but definitely lot smaller than 0 gauge. They do look good Have a Happy New Year 😊
I love the coronation coaches that released this year
Is there a "legal" way to watch Hornby: A Model World if you live outside the UK?
It will be interesting to see what is in the 2025 range.

Most of the world still trying to recover from the flu bug scam to be fair
@@andrewrice6596 if they don't announce more models. They won't get any money from pre orders. Most people are happy to wait. Only a few moan

I got my first Hornby train set last month. Nothing let me down! Next year, I’m planning to elevate track. But how wide are the supports?
Head on over to the Hornby Forum and ask your question over there!
@ sure, thanks for telling me!

I wish i could get a good train set but i live in Malaysia so they're like super expensive
Is the January event, a 00 only event, with a separate TT one later, or is this event for both scales? Please clarify.
Ypu need to get the wuality control right. Dont just put out thatll do models as you are commanding some of the highest prices
