Yes it is, my oldest went into the military two years now. And my baby boy just turned 20 he was going to leave at 19 but chose to stick around for his baby sister. My one and only daughter who will be 16 soon

My oldest has microcephaly so he's my baby for life, but my 22 yr old daughter moved out in August and I cried for a week straight. I was ok once I saw her house and realized she was maintaining and paying her bills on time. I actually enjoy going to her house and having somewhere to go during these times. It get easier to deal with but they're still our babies 😭

Thank you, Dellcine! As the protective parent that I am, Purcell's accident was very upsetting. The doctor said his bone will reconstruct itself. Because of Purcell's age, his growth plates allow his bones do things that an adult's couldn't. The bone is supposed to regrow and reconstruct without any manipulation other than the cast. God is amazing! Purcell is still trying to be the active boy he's always been. I have to remind him that his arm is broken. 🤦🏽♀️kids..lol 🤗

How quickly time flys pass as you look upon your children and still see them as your babies even though they’re grown young adults. I wasn’t prepared, nor did I want my eldest son to leave home. I knew this day was coming, just didn’t expect it so soon and to be so hard for me to let go off my Son. I too couldn’t stop crying at night and during the day, seeing his bed empty and just the simple hugs in the mornings and nights was no longer. It was the littlest things around home that would set me crying especially the night before and first week or two or more. It does get better and especially when you go visit or they come over to visit family. My son and I have a close & strong bond. I knew that I had too let him spread his wings and place all trust in God to guide and guard him in his new chapter in life. Congratulations to Imani and Jamal wishing you both blessings in abundance in this new chapter in life. Peace, love and harmony and God’s blessing be upon your family today and always. My daughter moved out when she was 18. She left Florida and went to Ny our home state. She will be 24 Sept. 11. She works 3 jobs and pays her own way. My son turns 17 in May he is still with me.

How quickly time flys pass as you look upon your children and still see them as your babies even though they’re grown young adults. I wasn’t prepared, nor did I want my eldest son to leave home. I knew this day was coming, just didn’t expect it so soon and to be so hard for me to let go off my Son. I too couldn’t stop crying at night and during the day, seeing his bed empty and just the simple hugs in the mornings and nights was no longer. It was the littlest things around home that would set me crying especially the night before and first week or two or more. It does get better and especially when you go visit or they come over to visit family. My son and I have a close & strong bond. I knew that I had too let him spread his wings and place all trust in God to guide and guard him in his new chapter in life. Congratulations to Imani and Jamal wishing you both blessings in abundance in this new chapter in life. Peace, love and harmony and God’s blessing be upon your family today and always. Debbie, I cried for weeks after they left. It was so hard letting go. I've adjusted now though. I'm very proud of the responsible, independent adults they have become. Praying many blessings in all their endeavors. And hopefully the littles at home don't grow too fast. I need more time. Lol. I'm enjoying each stage of their livesl. My daughter moved out when she was 18. She left Florida and went to Ny our home state. She will be 24 Sept. 11. She works 3 jobs and pays her own way. My son turns 17 in May he is still with me.
