ok first of all, can yall believe that we’re halfway through 2022 already? is this my time to start listening to Christmas songs... LOL but seriously tho - 6 months just went by, i just hope that you’ve all been living well so far. :)
oh also did i tell you guys that i went back home? it’s been almost 2 months now! this time i don’t really feel the urge to record many things, but i still wanna make some memories while i’m here… and so here’s my first vlog ever in Jakarta!!! :D (seriously i never thought i’d be a tourist in my hometown and got super excited over MRT rides hahaha)

Conflict on whether to eat stuff you can already find in HK when travelling is so real haha :') Love the laidback and aesthetic Jakarta vibes seen through your lens, thanks for sharing! Any other Indo cities you may recommend visiting for a 1-2 week trip? Similar vibes & non-touristy would be best :D
HAHA and the disappointment when we realize how pricey it is to have the food in HK.... :'D thanks Raymond! i went to Semarang for 3d2n and imo it's not a very touristy one, but i still prefer to travel around jogja tbh. both offer the same aesthetic (old vintage vibes) + laidback lifestyle + amazing (affordable) indo food :D
The trick is, get a mandiri e-money card (preferably the ‘Jaklingko’ issued e-money. It’s a multipurpose card that you can use for BRT, LRT, MRT, Commuter rail, Jaklingko feeder/Angkot, parking fee, even paying at convenience stores. Some events/museum might require you to pay with emoney (or ask you to buy from them if you don’t own one).
You can top up the balance at convenience store (Alfa/indomaret) or ATM machine. One card for all. 👍🏻👍🏻
hii Sunny! yep actually all my fam in indo got e-money card, so i heard about how convenient it is, but since i dont live here i never bothered to purchase one .__. plus whenever in indo i dont take public transports... ahaha but thanks for this i just knew that we can pay for angkot rides by e-money card!! lol i wonder if they still have Kenek...

kakak pasti jarang naik transportasi publik ya di jkt? wkwk
tahun 2023 bakal ada yang baru-baru juga nich. LRT jabodebek dan kereta cepat JKT-BDG bakal diresmikan. transportasi di jakarta semakin keren dan itupun masih ekspansi lagi di tahun-tahun selanjutnya karena MRT fase 2 sedang on-construction, MRT fase 3 bakal mulai konstruksi th 2024, MRT fase 4 mulai konstruksi th 2025 dan juga LRT Jakarta yang sedang konstruksi untuk diperpanjang jalurnya sampai ke manggarai. kakak udah liat kan peta transportasi publik di jakarta kaya apa. Jakarta or Indonesia rather (lol) is growing so rapidly over the past few years and still counting.

hiii i can't say for sure cuz i don't live there ;-; but yeah as far as i know, the rainy season is around jan to feb... if your itinerary is mostly outdoor probably it'll be inconvenient :(

hi sherendev! just a quick question, do you have to be present while collecting your hk permanent id card or there is an option can be received by family member?
hi! i think it’ll be easier and faster to collect by yourself, especially if you’ll collect it on the machine (not from the officer), but i think you can appoint someone with a letter of authorization..
@@sherendev Thankyou so much for the reply but it would be a great help if you would answer my last question that is after receiving the letter for the eligibility it said to you to attend at 26th of november but you went in 11 of novemebr so that means your rescheduled your date or something else? or if yes for how long can you postpone your dates for the biometrics and receiving the permanent ID?
yep i rescheduled it through the system, i’m not sure if it’s still the case because of covid & if they have new rules, but back then i could just choose which day i wanted to come, as long as the date is available on the system
Btw Sheren are you speak english or canton in hk?
english mostly and then bahasa indo. i cant speak canto haha
