How was this interview not in contempt of court?

Even more galling is the light sentence he received. His victims lives were shattered and this old geezer sits at home with his freedom and riches still intact.

I met this man and discovered that he was a raging egomaniac, an appalling specimen. He even tried to get one of his colleagues to film one of these criminal incidents. This is what happens when an organisation like the BBC indulges creeps like Hall and turns a blind eye to very suspect behaviour. Allowing very under age girls into his lair. His sentence was way too lenient, although I suppose he paid in other ways, losing his reputation, his career, his home and his marriage. Good. He was a talented broadcaster but if that had been anyone else, they'd have been slung in jail for much longer. Hall is the bottom of the pond.

Unfortunately the rich, powerful and white males will always be given preferential treatment.

A little on the racist side of your comment ain't it? But yeah people in power get lighter sentences because of the money they use to bail themselves out a bit.

I'm amazed how he still lives to this day nearly 92 years of age, having spent two years in jail and everyday wakes up as a shamed and appalling man with no family to support him any longer.
