Oh, good, I'm not the only person that cries when they hear or see Grandaddy. May 2004 at The METRO and The GAELIC Theatre in Sydney I saw Grandaddy LIVE. There is something about Jason's vocals and the mood of the music that evokes such strong emotions in people.
8:21 and eighty seconds onwards just straight down makes me wanna do drugs! In a real good way. Jason is a genius. Something about this band always reminded me about ELO. In a real good way too. :)
Played this at .90 speed just to slow it down a bit - I love them either way but sometimes prefer the tempo to be a bit slower than this. The energy in this performance, though, was incredible. Albeit a bit too incredible ;)
Nice souvenir of a great band from a wonderful, oddball album that is one of the greatest ever.
