Awesome. I'm so happy to see Mr Parr stretch out into another high production role as GM. His insta and past campaigns prove he's an incredible talent. I'm happy to see the other regulars and newcomers as well - ESPECIALLY Madam Roz Young-an extremely talented GM and DROP DEAD GORGEOUS. Lets go!
love these characters, looking forward to the rest of the campaign, Matthius reminds me a lot of Laszlo Cravensworth, my favorite character from What We Do In the Shadows
My favourite as well! I usually play original characters but this time around we were actually in the midst of shooting our Avatar the Last Airbender game, so time was short and I decided to do an impression. Laszlo is played by Matt Berry, thus the name Matthius Berrinium!
going to be interesting to see what other changes the GM made as I just finished running this campaign a few weeks ago, don't worry no spoilers from me. :D
Blacula confuses me, hes an actor/performer but isnt a bard? Hes a monk, but casts spells? Granted the only monks ive ever played with were fists of fury monks
Just "found" this one and have been laughing my way through so far. I am enjoying that Tank seems more comfortable as compared to the Dragonlance series as well. One question: does our amazing and very fun DM Kevin keep saying "rod iron fence" (as opposed to wrought iron) or am I hearing it funny?
What i love about this is it's about the level of faithfulness to the rules most people play 5e with. And it works great. It's totally fine. I could point out a bunch of places where they got rules wrong but who cares. The game flowed, it worked. People think PF2e is a super intimidating, complex system. But, while it is definitely on the crunchier side... so's 5e, just *everyone* plays fast and loose with the rules and goes rulings over rules with it (as they should), and it's fine. And it really is the same with PF2e. It *presents* itself as a bit more rules over rulings, but it's really not. Nothing breaks if you just wing it, not any more than 5e. A lot of people with 5e go "eh sure, you can do that thing you want with your bonus action 'cause it doesn't feel like it should take a *whole action."* Well, that's against the rules of 5e, technically. But... who cares. PF2e, you just go "yeah that seems like one action" and done. Same basic deal, just with a bit more freedom built in and less GM fiat required. PF2e is really closer to the 5e people *actually run,* than the actual rules of 5e.
So I unsubbed from this channel months ago because there were so many podcasts I listened to and DnD had kinda fallen off for me. Then I saw that I had episode 26 of Ready To Roll on my Watch Later list and I decided to check the channel out again. And now I am here, as a Pathfinder fan, going to listen to a Pathfinder game.

Yass! That was actually the inspiration for his hair!

Love it!
So glad! Thank you
you had me at matt berry
I couldn't tell why everyone was having a reaction when the house was lifted
Oh that was John Seagul finding out how many zombies were surrounding him.
Does anyone else think that Matthias looks and sounds just like Lazlo Cravensworth from the show What we do in the shadows?!
You mean the character played by Matt Berry? Matthius Berrinium... Matt Berry. =)
@QuestKeep yes I love that show and my extention Matthias now, every time I hear the voice makes me smile 😃
This was awesome next make it animated 😂😂
Blacula confuses me, hes an actor/performer but isnt a bard? Hes a monk, but casts spells? Granted the only monks ive ever played with were fists of fury monks
Monks get focus spells with Ki Magic

Maybe in Krynn it's known as Rod Iron?
Laszlo is that you???
Almost!

We had a great time telling this story, thanks for the comment! We need more PF love out there, even for beginners and "rules light" tables.
QuestKeep? QuestCoast? I thought it was QuestLine!?
Rebrand summer! QuestCoast Studios is our production company, and QuestKeep is the new name for our TH-cam and Twitch channels, all things gaming!
