Just graduated and decided to come back to these. I was in fifth grade when I first heard a Tristam song. Ever since then, I have gained countless memories of me listening to their songs. It's been fun! Here's to another ten or so years!
Same here, been listening since about grade 5 as well. I heard Flight in some TH-cam video and my fate was sealed. Was in an abusive environment for most of my childhood and ended up being homeless in high school. These songs are bittersweet to listen to now. I was in the worst headspace of my life when I used to listen to some of these songs on repeat. On one hand they instantly tap me back into the fear and pain I felt back then, but on the other hand, I feel so incredibly lucky to be where I am now, the parallels almost make me cry. I wish I could have a conversation with my younger self, for just a few minutes, to give him a hug and tell him everything was going to be okay. I hope to play some of these for my kids some day
Tristam's music reveals a very gentle soul behind the craft. Its very difficult to express any real emotion through youtube comments, but I would have wished he could feel the gratitude I feel towards him for sharing his work with us and defining the youtube/gaming culture of the early 10's which I grew up through

These songs are more than songs to me i feel deep sadness listening to them it makes me wanna cry every single time i first heard this on holloween 3 years ago it was my first time hearing any song that i felt emotions with it was once again it helped me through a lot considering i was alone for so long sorry if this bothers anyone i just need to express this even if im throwing this into a void

I’m ok guys thank you all for your kindness I haven’t been on TH-cam in a long while but my life has gotten a lot better I found a woman who I feel I can trust with everything having her makes everyday so much better I forgot about this comment I posted it so long ago I had to go back and check I’ve had ups and downs like everyone but Im finally getting my life together and I don’t feel so alone anymore I spelled Halloween wrong too lol I still listen to tristams music I love the song “children in the dark” I’m posting this mostly so every one who commented knows I’m still kicking I hope you all are doing as good as I’ve been
