I used your review of board games to buy my nieces basic skill learning games. I love how you explained the games and your opinion of how your kids reacted. Very helpful.
I paused the video to go organize my coffee/cocoa bar (I live alone, who said cocoa is only for children?), and instead shined my sink. I consider that a Win! Now I'm back to watch how you organized your coffee bar, and maybe I'll get to my own on this round. 🙂 Or maybe I'll organize that chaotic shelf in my pantry. Who knows, doesn't matter. You're helping me get my life Better, so thanks!
Anyone wanting plastic jar lids but dont really want to spend the money, check your mayo jar. The ones I get from Aldi fit a regular mouth jar and are an awesome sage green. I also take inositol, and the now brand pound containers have white lids that fit, a bit shorter than the threads, but they work.
I’ll have to check that out!👍 I was thrilled to find out that plastic jar of Parmesan cheese (Kraft?) has a two sided shaker lid that fits on the regular size mason jar. I have a collection of the vintage blue ones that just looks cuter on the table. (With store bought or fresh grated cheese)
Yes to a video about board games. Also a suggestion - i recently went to a board game store. All they sell is board games ans cards and dice collections- a heaven for ppl our age and dungeon & dragons /Catan fans and they stood their boxes on end, like a library and it works really well. I applied it and we saved so much space and was still easy for everyone to access. I'm just struggling with my original 80s & 90s long boxes, those lay flat.. ty for all you do Erica. Happy holidays
Hello! I just want to say I am a stay at home mom of 4 kids. Yes, we homeschool. When I see your videos, it feels like a friend has popped by to hang out! I can relate to you so much! You make me feel not so alone in my mothering journey! And yes, I would love a video on the games!!! I hope you have a nice Thanksgiving weekend! Keeping you and your family in my thoughts this holiday! Thanks for all you do!Look forward to your next video!
We're so glad my son and daughter-in-law homeschool their 4 children. Actually, it's three as their oldest is at college. Must brag on her. She was offered several full ride scholarships for 4 years of college. She's a dancer and wants to own a dance studio someday. She also qualified for scholastic scholarships, so don't let anyone tell you homeschooled children aren't as educated as public school children. Blessings ~ Linda
Yes, to a video about board games. We love the Sequence board game. Challenging enough for adults and older kids but my daughter with Down Syndrome can also play easily. I asked her what her favorite game is and she said Speed (with a deck of cards). She wins almost every time, no matter who she plays.
TINS hold bulbs well & fit inside a holiday storage bin. I just used cookie tins given to me or sturdy small boxes to protect ornaments. Only had one ornament break in all these years. I also use a couple large totes - they hold a lot, but somehow seem to be less since they are large and i can fit the items holding ornaments ( tins, boxes, old tupperware, etc) inside them.
Fall and Christmas are my largest number of bins for decor, especially Christmas. We store the Christmas stuff in red & green tubs in the basement, organized. Very pretty blue tree
So fun having a hot chocolate bar especially for your kids. 😊 I love your videos. Such an encouragement to me. I need to make a recipe binder. My recipes are in a big pile that I need to organize.
That sounds like a lovely rainy day thing to do! Hot chocolate. Music on. Light a candle. Sort the recipes. I did my photos the other week. I also do paperwork on those days too.😊
All excellent tips. I already have my Christmas menu completed but I really need to check the pantry inventory to see what additional ingredients I may need. I already went thru my decorations in Sept and declutterred 3 lg bins. We are older (78) so we aren’t doing a big tree this year/ just three small ones. 2 out of the 3 were put away last year with the decorations still on them. Easy peasy!🎁🎄🎅☃️
My ornaments were in a terrible state. Just thrown into bags. I took them out in August and sorted them all into proper carriers. It’s made such a difference. I had some broken ornaments too 😢. No excuses for me now!😅
The cocoa bar is so FUN and a wonderful memory for the kids. It's the little things they remember. ❤ I had one sister (out of 4) that always had hot 🍓 Strawberry Quik while the rest of us had hot chocolate 🍫 😋 😍
A very HAPPY THANKSGIVING! A practical, but cute cocoa bar. And such good advice about Christmas ornaments...keep what you truly love, keeping it organized.
Happy Thanksgiving! Your Cocoa bar turned out super cute! I love the labels! Our tree and deccies went up a week ago. Thanksgiving is so late this year! We are already *less* than a month away from Christmas! I'm looking forward to the first week of Advent at church this Sunday! 🎄
Oh would definetly appreciate a board game video for kids even if your not able to do it before Christmas . My grandkids are getting old enough to play games but i get so overwhelmed with the selections . Help ! Happy Holidays and thanks for your effort .
Erica, where do I find the two downloads mentioned in today's vlog? 100 things to declutter before Christmas and list of 10 things to prepare for holidays. Love the hot chocolate bar.
Hot chocolate station is super cute!!! 🥰. I realized it's also movable with the tray so you can move it to the kitchen island or anywhere if it doesn't work well in the dining room 😊 Your normal handwriting should be a font..

I saw someone glue a bunch of clear, plastic punch cups to a piece of cardboard to separate delicate items, then stack another layer on top.
