Funny part is I usually look at deep fakes for laughs but after this video I just realized how much power I could have with just being able to use it on people I hate or maybe since I didn't already think of that is probably a sign that I'm a good person and wouldn't do it in the first place but you know

This whole deepfake thing is a load of BS. No one has swapped a famous actresses face and superimposed it onto a porn performers face. These said “deepfake porn clips” are Adobe Premiere Pro edits of a porn performers face that can trick someone into thinking they did do a face swap. Or the porn performer just happens to look like the actress and someone tries to pass it off as a “deepfake” anyway. If someone actually did this they would be tracked down and sued left and right. Also there is no consumer software or devices that can let some random person do this all Willy Nilly. Really tired of news programs trying to sell this crap. But oh well sensationalism sells in this world.

Why? All technologies can be misused. Anyone can argue the wheel led to the automobile and millions have died since its inception as a result. Fire led to gunpowder and tens of millions have died since the discovery. You're arguing humanity's use of a thing should be illegal, not the thing itself.
