Sometimes I see the puzzles and think "gosh idk where to start". And egg goes and sets it up or says something that is just a reworded or arranged solution, then screws it up while I'm left yelling at my phone
I get it now. Eggman is actually not bad at puzzles, but he's just really awful at sokoban. He says the solution out loud but just can't see how to position the pieces.
Embarrassingly, I'm the same way. I tend to map out a solution and bluescreen at the execution. A lot of the time I get towards the end of a puzzle and wonder 'what now?' even though I'm this 👌 close to solving it lol I need to upgrade my brain's hard drive. That being said sometimes the answer is staring him so directly in his face it's incredible.

In general I find Baba is You actually pretty challenging, more challenging than I probably should (given that my line of work needs me to solve lots of logic puzzles essentially). I think NL needs to work more on reducing the problem and just working out what options he has. Some of the easier puzzles don't have that many options to get going.
This man is the god of overthinking. He hears "square" and starts putting things in shapes for no reason. He knows it won't change anything and still tries it.
I get so hyped when he says "Ok heres the only other thing we can do" because hes out of wrong options. Then he just goes back to a previous wrong option instead of trying the solution.
How melted does your brain have to be to simultaneously see that you can pull the flag out with the boxes and not see that you have to pull the flag out with the boxes
Ghost Friend: Don't forget that Baba cna be You and Move at the same time. Only things that are Move move automatically. Crate Square: just remember that the flag won't melt if the bricks aren't hot, and you can pull objects in chains. Ghost Guard: Your goal is to push the Ghost to the Key. I forget the rest, but I remember teleporting that ghost a lot. Lonely Flag: Empty Is Baba was the simpler solution, but well done I suppose haha
He learned his lesson that no object has any inherent meaning, only that which is given to it by "is [adjective]" and yet he almost immediately forgot that lesson.
See what annoys me about the eggmans play is that he selectively understands the mechanics of certain rules. Like pull the first ghost level he thought the GHOST pulled objects... not that HE can pull the GHOST, but then in the next level he started pulling the flag and boxes like he knew of course thats how that rule works

What would happen if you put Ice is Text... would that even work? I think normally it would turn ice into the word ice.. which you could then push around. But if Ice is ice.. does the word ice count as ice too? Probably not.. but it's something he didn't think of.

See the thing about empty is that you have to push the line of empty tiles youre pushing onto a nonempty tile (i.e. a tile with something in it but without push or stop. The edge of the lv is stop and text is push by default, so you cant push empty tiles onto them). By doing that the empty tile which gets pushed onto the nonempty one is essentialy destroyed (since the tile its on is not empty). This way you can push the line of empties until you reach the object, "destroying" them one after the other. Another push object doesnt change anything on its own, since all the empty tiles are push as well.

NL why dont you listen to your wife one freakin time, she told you how to approach puzzles, analyze the map and the win condition first, before cluelessly rushing in and brute forcing the shit out of the game. Level 6 i.e win condition is to pull the flag out the water to reach it, but to keep it from melting you have to change the rules, how can you archieve both simultaneiously pull out the flag and change the rule by using the chain strat you smartly figured out, booom Level solved

Sometimes simple puzzles can be tricky too if you just don't see the connection. It took me a good few minutes to do that one myself.
