Revision Sportsman - Part 1 - Narrowed Wraith Axle

- I plan to get my sportsman rig back up and running for this season. I wanted to freshen it up first however. To be in the new "cool guy" group you have to run narrowed AR60 (Wraith or Ridgecrest) axles. In stock form the axles are just too wide for competition crawling. I spent the last two nights hammering out my front axle and getting it ready to mock up the links.
They are sold by a vendor on rccrawler. His name is Biggin69 and they run $26 a set. You have to do the drilling and tapping yourself to get your desired caster angle and to fasten them to your housing. It is a good amount of work but worth it.
Awesome custom build
Cool build bro !
Thanks for sharing this TOP stuff
Does the raised link mount effect suspension geometry in a negative way. Mounting points are supposed to be parralel front to back.
Mitch. Maybe I'll round up the stuff to do some beef tubes
Would you want to make another one of those shorten wraith axle? Need a shortened one from my Evo1 JK I'm getting from Mattzilla
hey man! Great video! What ever happened to this rig?
Kyle, sorry man I am just really slow at getting stuff done for people. I don't think I cam commit to taking on any extra work.
thanks
Im wanting to do this mod to my wraith axles. Just dont have the set up to make it happen. Not that confident with the dremel. Thanks for the great how to though.
RC Crawler Workbench what about a grinder
I've gotten experience and have learned a lot over the past year. There's also better options out there now. Thanks for the idea though. I ended up building a Wroncho with my Wraith axles. I've since sold her and been workimg on a couple other projects. Thumbsup

That was barely 2 nights, Fat J!
Do you know any one that would be up to doing one for me
