Freediver HD, you know the way to get out is lay on your back and get your feet and legs free, then turn onto your tummy and spread body weight and kinda swim your way out. Subsequently hire a small hovercraft when crossing sinking mud
m8 why didn't you just walk on the grass you're not dora the explorer I mean don't go into the spider cave when there's a nice meadow just right around it
You have to lay down when in sinking mud and crawl out, the bigger the surface over the mud the harder it is for it to sinking in. For example needles are very thin so they are easy to use but if they where thick as a log it wouldnt be that easy to use.
OMG You were so brave in the face of certain death! I hope to have courage like you someday. you are truly a hero and a shining example for the world to follow.
That happened to a guy in my highschool class near the Dead Sea a long time ago. He sank to his waist, it was scary as hell. Got out and a second later- sank again!
I was just doin a search on WWII and Guam and your video popped up in the results. I very much enjoyed your brief visit of our islands wartime past. Thank you brother! Look forward to seeing more. Take it easy brotha & Hafa Adai!
this is sigua falls on Guam. I hiked to the waterfa with some friends and I'm a fat guy lol leaving the water, you have to hike up a very steep hill. friend made a bright idea that I take the clay slope going up because it would be easier, until it rained. almost got stuck and couldn't climb up from how slippery it got. I was glad I made it out. fun hike but dangerous if you're not fit and with some company. I'll go back when I'm fit 😂
I did this exact same thing while hiking this trail lol... The mud appeared dry but turned out to be a giant slime pit haha... glad you made it out alive :)
Yeah you would pair great with Bear Grylls... just glad you did not resort to drinking your own piss. All kiding aside, geting stuck in mud or wetland swamps really suck. But there is no reason to panic, you normally only sink to around your stomach or chest, at that point you are buoyant. In Norway I'm more concerned with hypothermia then the fear of drowning as a result of getting stuck.
I don't follow. If one is cool with being 30 meters bellow the surface; then having your head above water must be a plus. You won't die right away just wiggle your way out.
best time to go is when is in the summer because the trail is usually dry. some people like to go off roading there. you should check out sigua falls next time!
I did the same thing when I first went on this hiking trail. That mud is no joke during rainy season! What's the story behind this tank and the nearby half track?
wow, how often do you come to guam!? the area you went to is called tank farm, there's a bunch of waterfalls if you follow the trail called Sigua Falls.
+Kyle Crisostomo I came to Guam like 5 times in 2015. Yeah originally I wanted to continue to the falls, but my buddy did not want to cross the second swamp part - of which there was no real way to get around. You on Guam?
yeah man, I've commented on your videos before about showing you some dives/hikes. it's nice to see you continue to visit! the island is incredible for your hobbies
Did you check out some of the other land based WWII treasures in the Marianas? I saw your underwater videos from Saipan, but I'v found a bunch of other cool stuff on land there too. There's a sweet cave system with some relics at the bottom that would make an awesome video.
There's a trail that heads SW off the Banzai cliff parking lot. You follow the trail for a relatively short distance (half a mile or less) and then look for orange/pink flags in the jungle on the left side. It's not very well marked, but enough people go there that you should be able to see their trails. The caves are less than 50 ft off the main trail, but are hard to see due to the dense vegetation. There are multiple caves to explore, but one of them goes quite deep. If you follow the trail all the way to Cow Town beach, there are some old turrets along the beach to check out too.
He forgot his ghillie suit, no wonder xD hahah 1:30 Cpt.MacMillan:"Easy lad.. keep a low profile.. if you have to maneuver, do it slow and steady. No quick movements." th-cam.com/video/EN2bSp4xrVI/w-d-xo.html
First you mentioned Guam which I live in then a girl in the side started yelling in Chinese in which I speak I know no one cares but this is a big coincidence to me
+BatGirl Gaming Maybe it's you, but in an alternate reality. Or on some kind of mind-altering drugs that makes you want to be the invisible but ever present assistant of Freediver-HD!
+Freediver HD alright well I've been watching your videos for quit a while now and I would love for you to sign my fins is there anyway you can do that?
maybe next time you should consider to use a stick just to check the mud before you walks in...walk save buddy,,,still wanna c ur videos in the future..lol
I think this is cool you are finding old WWII relics and all, but why do you have this need to record yourself doing this stuff?. Since the onset of this pole with a phone or camera at the end of it, we seem to have many people who think they are interesting by recording themselves, or selfies, or whatever it is they call it. Why do you have this need to do it?. I do not get it. Like I do not get X-Factor, Facebook, Twitter, etc, etc. What I do see though, are the majority of people who fall for this baloney and pretty much just follow the same old thing or fad of the time, because other people are doing it, ha ha. Nutters. Get back to basics will ya. I do like the tank thing, but not interested in seeing you though on the end of a phone or camera with pole in your hand. It is easy to stereotype you.
+joanne j If you have been following the my channel, you would have seen the Sherman tanks in the ocean in Saipan, you would have seen the Amtrak underwater earlier this year, You would have seen the fighter planes sunken on the bottom on the ocean. Today I finally get an opertunity to visit one that is above ground - and that is not ok?
No I think it is cool, even though I am a staunch Russian supporter and the best tank by a long shot in WWII was the IS-3 Advanced Heavy Tank that Russia had. Find one of those, and then I will not complain about the selfie stuff, ha ha.
PS : Don't worry guys - dive vid for this trip is coming! Just wanted to get this up first
+Freediver HD cool, see you in the water )
+Freediver HD Do you play warthunder on a daily basis? is that why you like tanks so much?
Freediver HD, you know the way to get out is lay on your back and get your feet and legs free, then turn onto your tummy and spread body weight and kinda swim your way out. Subsequently hire a small hovercraft when crossing sinking mud
Herbert Berkley
Bruh stfu😂
Knee deep in mud = almost dies haha, but glad to see you're ok!!
haha yeah he was clearly joking
***** I thought so at first but then he continued with the if I would've went any further is be gone.
+ShepherdAnimations dude - later I took a step - I went down into the mud until my balls! And my phone was finished - true story!
+Freediver HD Haha now that's what they call balls deep xD
+MrAtariable Lmao
"Almost died" dat clickbait
Orww Dumbass that is actually dangerous.
m8 why didn't you just walk on the grass you're not dora the explorer I mean don't go into the spider cave when there's a nice meadow just right around it
Glad you survived to tell the tail. It's a shame no one taken an interest save those relics. Least a coat of olive drab kill rust paint. 👋 from 🇦🇺
Lesson: Don't get off the water :)
Well, you've certainly demonstrated the versatility of the "F" word.
😂👍

New sport: Mud-diving
Fun fact, Shermans only fought Tigers 3 times after D-day that were recorded, two were victories for the Shermans
It would appear to me that both vehicles were used as targets post battle.
That happened to a guy in my highschool class near the Dead Sea a long time ago. He sank to his waist, it was scary as hell. Got out and a second later- sank again!

The area is locally known as the TANK farm, due to the various equipment left there.....
People from Guam like to go off roading there, and it really makes the dirt trails soft and muddy. I hope you still had fun despite sinking!
+Owie Vida Glad to have a viewer from Guam. More coming!
“Almost died” a biiiiit of a stretch.
But I love seeing a freedive vlogger good job! Stay safe and have fun!
Much love from Germany
I'm living in Guam. This is one of my favourite hiking! 👍

U can hear the mud to a fart.
A track that's rusted to shit isn't quite what I'd call 'perfect'
I am thinking about getting a play station 4 with grand thief auto, doom and Minecraft play station 4 edichio.
your sick lad!
You should go see the wreck of Admiral Yamamoto's plane, it's still there I hear
Yamamato's plane crash location is in the Solomon Islands.
