Thank you! I fixed it in my 2014 Corolla after just leaving it messed up for years. Ty for putting no BS in the title so I knew it would be quick and to the point!
Thanks for this! The Jiffy Lube technician which replaced my cabin filter apparently didn’t connect the damper. I tried to connect it at that tricky end where you had problems, and I could just not get the boy part of glove box frame to snap into the damper. After several cursing episodes I just gave up.
Good video..thx....but why or how did my damper come disconnected from its pivot point in the 1st place. Honestly, my wife's hands could get to the part and she fixed it. I'm now the flashlight holder.
It's a pain to get it out. Today was first time replacing cabin filters myself on both Subaru, and it happened in both. Was able to fish it out with me fingers and the glove box completely removed.
Attach damper to the lower hole up towards the dash connector my 2013 did the same thing when I used the upper damper hole and the damper kept popping off when closing the glove box and forced me to fish it out of the panel till I realized to try the lower hole on the damper..
Thanks alot.Tried fixing it back was a big stress until i got to your video

I did all of this, yet the damper pops off each time...even though I hear it snap on the clips
