I know there is truth in Medugorje. So much so, that I asked Our Lady of Medjugorje (in prayer) to ask the visionary Vicka to pray for my Uncle who was in critical condition in the hospital. He was going to die; He was on life support and after a week of being on it, the doctors already wanted us to let him go. They seen that there was no hope, at least naturally. They told us that even if he did make it (by a miracle), he would be brain damaged and have to live with special care from professionals. I never lost hope (thanks to God) and trusted in God with my whole heart that he'd have Mercy on my Uncle...and he did. My uncle survived, but not only did he survive, he was healthier than he had been in years. Faith and prayer brought my uncle back. After I knew what God had done for us, out of no where this thought about my prayer to Our Lady of Medjugorje came into my head, I could feel in my heart that Vicka prayed for us, my family and my uncle. I have never even been to Medjugorje, and yet Mary helped us because of my simple faithful prayer. I have no doubt that there is truth in Medugorje, and what Mary and Vicka did for my family has only increased my trust in it.

She wants to bring us closer to her son, and, I mean, who better to bring you closer to Jesus than the one who raised him, knew him, suffered with him, and loved him far more than any of us ever could? Look at it this way: just as Jesus is the mediator to God the Father, Mary is the Mediatrix to God the Son. To pray for her intercession will only and always lead you to her son. Where in scripture is Mary ever referred to as Holy Mother Mary? Where did anyone in scripture ever pray to her? Where did Jesus tell anyone that she is to be viewed that way? Look up “Biblical canon” on Wikipedia and see how many books are in the Old Testament of the Early Christian Canon. Then compare with how many books are in your Old Testament. And as Christians, we’re called to pray for one another. The lady before was asking for the Blessed Mother’s prayers. If you don’t believe in “having a middle man” and that prayers should only be directly between you and God, I suggest that you stick with your principles and don’t pray for your family. Praying for each other is different than praying to a dead person. As you pray for each other, you are praying to God, not to any person. Hmm, if he is literally with Jesus right now, then who is it that Jesus raises from the dead when he returns, some to everlasting life, some to everlasting condemnation? @@peachbun she is not dead, because she is in heaven. A soul in heaven never really dies and yes people in heaven can hear us. What scripture means is that the dead (as in the earthly bodies) are dead, asleep. and won't be raised until Jesus comes, but it doesn't mean that the souls haven't entered heaven

I wish to submit here to all who are in doubt of Medjugorje( In my heart I just know Our Blessed Mother is there). If you ever find yourself ever doubting matters of encounter with God especially in a big way like Medjugorje, as a Catholic always remember: 1.That you are not bound to believe in private revelation 2. That it is the work of the magestrium yo rule in such matters in which case you can pray to the Holy Spirit for the magisterial. 3. You can sin by insulting those who believe 4. You can sin against Our Blessed Mother by insulting her home that she has chosen to visit and like literally camp there like Medjugorje. 5. The best option always in such matters when you have doubts is in the Acts of Apostles Chapter 5: 34 - 41. 6. Uf you pray this scripture about medjugorje, the Lord will speak to you, if you take a neutral stand until you have a clear understanding of such matters, you will not sin, you will not regret! Pray for her. I think it's too much too, but I do think Mary is speaking with her. It is so beautiful when you hear Mary and you are with such heavenly love. I wish she would just be more greatful for the beauty, and quit spazzing out before and after the appearance. I miss Mary's voice too. I loved being with the light of heaven. She's still real, even if you aren't seeing her.

What I can’t work out, is everyone there has taken a lot of trouble to get there, so why does Mary appear to only one of the seers (at this and many times) and Mary doesn’t appear to the crowd in one form or another? A bit one sided I think.

I seem to recall an important person once said "do not call anyone pastor or rabbi or teacher or father because there is only One who is all and thats The Father and Christ. Also not to worship or revere anyone or thing (idols). Yet here is "Mary" being revered and worshiped. He also says not to pray to anyone but the Father through Christ.

But that's not necessarily on the line what Elisabeth told to her relative, the holy virgin Mary: "Blessed are you among women." Luke 1,42 The prophetic speaking of Elisabeth says that Mary who believed (Lk 1,45) in fact is "something special". Mary by herself, filled and leaded by the Holy Spirit, praised the greatness of her Lord in the Magnificat (Lk 1,46). "Surely, from now on all generations will called me blessed" (Lk 1,47). I could quote some other biblical references: for example, prophet Jesaja 7,14 or book of proverbs, 8,22 as indications for the sublime vocation of the holy virgin Mary. But the principal question is if someone only accept what literally (expressis verbis) is written in the bible... or if someone is in favor of interpretation using exegetical instruments. The early church fathers who studied and knew the scriptures very well made use of a "triple tool" for explanation: literally, anagogical and moral sense. For myself I prefer this way of reading the Bible. As Mary, by God's grace, is also the "Mother of the Word", she is a recognized teacher for scriptures. Yes..she has pain, but also, I read her book My Heart Will Triumph (by Mirjana Soldo) & in it she explains that before she sees the Blessed Mother, she experiences almost like an excitement that her body cannot contain. She explains that her heart feels, in the moments leading up to the apparitions, like it will burst in anticipation to see her. The book is very well written, explains so much in a very down-to-earth way. I highly recommend it! 😁
@@pattis.1645 yes, I definitely agreed with you a couple years ago when I watched an apparition and she seemed so distraught. I actually had an amazing experience recently after a couple of years of really just needing to know if this is truly of God. I could try to share here, but there's a lot so it will be shortened a bit. Before I share though, I would definitely say YES to praying about it and asking Jesus to personally give an answer, because I understand that no matter what I may say, we each need to go to Jesus Christ for answers. Long story shortened, I had been exposed to Medugorje since I was 5. (Am 34 now) After a falling away thru teen & young years I had something similar to an illumination of consciousness where my faults at that time were strongly, undeniably revealed to me & needless to say my life, thanks to the grace of God, started to heal. Life went on & years later, I was able to go to Medugorje. I saw the face of Jesus in the risen christ statue. Not like a "think I saw His face" but like His actual, beautiful face looking at me through the statue. You'd think that would have me convinced, & I mostly believed, but there was still a bit of fear that "what if I'm just brainwashed" and that I saw Jesus, not Mary. So more praying. A couple years later, watched Marijana's apparition & felt either something's wrong or the signs must be close seeing her like that. So more searching ensued. I read Mirjana's book which opened my eyes to a lot, yet I still had a bit of doubt especially when watching or reading the comments about the Blessed Mother that are circulating these days. I felt conflicted and fearful that I was possibly believing lies. So I kept on praying! This past April, i was reflecting on the words of Jesus in matthew, "As in the days of Noah, people were marrying........up until the doors of the ark closed." I heard a voice in my heart say "Mary is the Ark. She is the Ark of the Covenant." I could understand somehow how the Blessed Mother will carry us through these coming times by leading us on the path to Jesus, but ark of the covenant I was baffled. I am not a scholar in scripture, & although I desire to know more I will admit to me the ark of the covenant was something from indiana jones! So, i looked up "Mary ark of covenant" in Google search trying to see if there was anything that could possibly explain what on earth that could mean. I saw a video pop up by Brant Pitre & began to watch. To my surprise, this is a concept that is well-known by many theologians and people who study the scriptures. While I watched I was 'shown' and felt this overlapping progression of how God has revealed himself to humanity throughout history, each time unfolding and expanding His revelation to us as a whole. I saw Noah's Ark, the Ark of the Covenant, Mary pregnant with Jesus and the church being carried by Mary..I felt it at the same time. It was an experience hard to put into words. The following message of Medugorje was May 2, and the Blessed Mother said in it (I'm paraphrasing) how she carried Jesus, the host within her womb. Prior to my experience a couple days before, I had no idea the meaning and the contents carried withing the Ark of the Covenant in the Old Testament. I had no idea that this was a theory already out out there, or a known thing. The experience, for me put my heart at rest and also helped me to fully put my trust in God and His plans. But I understand skepticism, as I almost regretted how skeptical I myself had been..but honestly God used both my skepticism & blindness to open my eyes & allow me to know for sure in my own heart. So I definitely urge personal prayer to God on all things because it's one thing to hear someone speak & to maybe start to ponder about something, but it's another thing to actually know. I feel God will reveal to anyone who asks, just dont give up & never stop seeking Him...He will not let us down! But Mary says "Pray! Pray! Pray!" which honestly it used to almost annoy me, but now I see why she says it!!! Prayer is seeking God, seeking Jesus, seeking the truth. God bless you & yes, I agree we need to bring everything to Jesus.

Mirjana avait révélé il y a 30 ans que sa vision l'avait prévenu qu'elle ne la verrait plus sauf à son anniversaire et quand elle n'aurait pas le moral(ce qui est déjà incongru...), et pourtant elle continue à faire semblant de voir quelques chose ? Lors des vraies apparitions de Marie, Elle n'a jamais changé d'avis, sauf à Medjugorje et lors de toutes les fausses apparitions de Marie....!! Mirjana est connu depuis le début pour pleurer sur commande ; sa fragilité psychologique est l'un des traits de caractère de Mirjana. Le plus grave c'est qu'elle et tous les autres "voyants" ont menti et ce depuis le début de leur "vision" ! Apparemment cela n'a pas l'air de choquer grand monde comme si le mensonge et les mensonges de prétendus "voyants" n'étaient pas si important que cela ? De plus, il n'y a plus grand monde qui ait pris soin de lire les documents et enregistrements des "voyants" et d'autres personnes, archivés à Medjugorje et surtout à l'évêché de Mostar et qui sont à disposition de tous. Seule la pastorale demeure et c'est tout ! Il serait prudent et conseillé de lire le livre de feu le père Ivo Sivric, franciscain, O.F.M, natif de Medjugorje et dont la famille est connue dans cette endroit. Les Sivric sont nombreux dans cette région ; Lire "La face cachée de Medjugorje". Seulement 10% de ce livre suffisent pour comprendre que tout est faux ! Bernadette était éclatante à Lourdes lors des apparitions, Mirjana est quelconque et rien ne change à part ces tremblements qui ne sont que pure comédie. Cette mise en scène est vraiment lassante et si peu crédible.

I know there is truth in Medugorje. So much so, that I asked Our Lady of Medjugorje (in prayer) to ask the visionary Vicka to pray for my Uncle who was in critical condition in the hospital. He was going to die; He was on life support and after a week of being on it, the doctors already wanted us to let him go. They seen that there was no hope, at least naturally. They told us that even if he did make it (by a miracle), he would be brain damaged and have to live with special care from professionals. I never lost hope (thanks to God) and trusted in God with my whole heart that he'd have Mercy on my Uncle...and he did. My uncle survived, but not only did he survive, he was healthier than he had been in years. Faith and prayer brought my uncle back. After I knew what God had done for us, out of no where this thought about my prayer to Our Lady of Medjugorje came into my head, I could feel in my heart that Vicka prayed for us, my family and my uncle. I have never even been to Medjugorje, and yet Mary helped us because of my simple faithful prayer. I have no doubt that there is truth in Medugorje, and what Mary and Vicka did for my family has only increased my trust in it.

No. I am only giving reason for my belief and trust in Medugorje. It is up to whomever reads my testimony to believe in it or not. And just to make it clear, NO demon could ever do what was done for my Uncle. They can heal, but their healings are only temporary; they do not last, whereas a healing from God lasts. You cannot sit there and tell me that my prayers TO GOD were of the devil; I did not beg for the enemy to heal my uncle. I prayed to God for his mercy on behalf of my uncle, and I turned to his mother, my mother, so that she could ask one of her followers for prayer (as well as her own) for the safety and recovery of a beloved family member of mine. And just in case you lose it at "her followers", yes, she has followers, and she ultimately leads them to Christ her son. That is her goal. She wants to bring us closer to her son, and, I mean, who better to bring you closer to Jesus than the one who raised him, knew him, suffered with him, and loved him far more than any of us ever could? Look at it this way: just as Jesus is the mediator to God the Father, Mary is the Mediatrix to God the Son. To pray for her intercession will only and always lead you to her son. It is just too sad, many people ignore the great gift God gave to humanity in his last breath: John 19:26-27 "When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.”

Who could ever doubt Medjugore after seeing Mariana,s face when Our Blessed Mother appears may God Bless her and all the visionaries for making it possible for us to hear words we need to hear.

Nowhere does the bible suggest that Jesus was giving a commandment that we were to view Mary as our mother, as if a divine being we should pray to. He simply was making provision for her, as a human, to be taken care of. And in the same way, we should all care for one another as brothers and sisters, as parents and children, whether related by physical family or not.
Nowhere in scripture does it imply that Mary is the bridge to get to Jesus, where do you get such an idea?
Where does Jesus say we need to pray to Mary? Nowhere, except some tradition of a church that gloats about changing God's word by it's own authority, not given by God. Do you read scripture, or have your priest tell you what is right? i am not trying to put you down or win an argument, but God tells us not to be deceived. We can receive the Holy Spirit and spiritual discernment without going through any priest or Mary.
If you don't have that, then you will believe anything you're told and be too afraid to find out the truth???
Pray directly to God, not Mary who is dead. There is no middle man, or middle woman to pray to or confess our sins to, it is not in the bible. God will hear your prayers, although they may not be fulfilled if it's not his will.
It's not our Blessed Mother that we doubt, it's the con artists and nutbars that are making greater fools of those already gullible. The Virgin Mary doesn't adjust her visions to suit basketball game schedules or select priests who get nuns pregnant as spiritual directors.

This is the first time I have seen so many priests at an apparition. Maybe they have not been caught on film, but this time, there were so many including Orthodox priests. I'm so glad Our Blessed Mother's message is being taken seriously by the clergy. We need their example, I wish they knew this.

I witnessed an apparition and no report, be it from theologians, popes cardinals can change what I experienced during the apparition and my whole stay there. Only eyes blind by sin cannot see the divine there.

And I’m making an assumption here, but why does your Bible have 7 less books than what the Early Christians used? Look up “Biblical canon” on Wikipedia and see how many books are in the Old Testament of the Early Christian Canon. Then compare with how many books are in your Old Testament.
And as Christians, we’re called to pray for one another. The lady before was asking for the Blessed Mother’s prayers. If you don’t believe in “having a middle man” and that prayers should only be directly between you and God, I suggest that you stick with your principles and don’t pray for your family. Don’t pray for your friends. Don’t pray for anyone. Because then that would make you a “mediator” between God and others.

What scripture means is that the dead (as in the earthly bodies) are dead, asleep. and won't be raised until Jesus comes, but it doesn't mean that the souls haven't entered heaven

Pray for her. I think it's too much too, but I do think Mary is speaking with her. It is so beautiful when you hear Mary and you are with such heavenly love. I wish she would just be more greatful for the beauty, and quit spazzing out before and after the appearance.

What I can’t work out, is everyone there has taken a lot of trouble to get there, so why does Mary appear to only one of the seers (at this and many times) and Mary doesn’t appear to the crowd in one form or another? A bit one sided I think.

I seem to recall an important person once said "do not call anyone pastor or rabbi or teacher or father because there is only One who is all and thats The Father and Christ. In fact, when someone told Jesus that his mother was outside, he said "And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren?

So, if Mary was to be regarded in some special way above anyone else, or as a mother to us all above all others, Jesus definitely didn't regard her that way.
What I believe you're telling me is Catholic tradition, and not something any scripture or Jesus taught at all.
Nowhere in scripture does anything say Mary was taken directly to heaven.
I would encourage you to consider what I'm saying and know that we are not to pray to Mary for anything. We can respect her, we can admire her, we can talk about her as an important figure in this story being played out, but I really see no evidence to say she is in heaven, or is a second Eve, etc...

The prophetic speaking of Elisabeth says that Mary who believed (Lk 1,45) in fact is "something special".

I could quote some other biblical references: for example, prophet Jesaja 7,14 or book of proverbs, 8,22 as indications for the sublime vocation of the holy virgin Mary.
But the principal question is if someone only accept what literally (expressis verbis) is written in the bible... or if someone is in favor of interpretation using exegetical instruments.
The early church fathers who studied and knew the scriptures very well made use of a "triple tool" for explanation: literally, anagogical and moral sense.
For myself I prefer this way of reading the Bible. As Mary, by God's grace, is also the "Mother of the Word", she is a recognized teacher for scriptures.

Yes..she has pain, but also, I read her book My Heart Will Triumph (by Mirjana Soldo) & in it she explains that before she sees the Blessed Mother, she experiences almost like an excitement that her body cannot contain. She explains that her heart feels, in the moments leading up to the apparitions, like it will burst in anticipation to see her. The book is very well written, explains so much in a very down-to-earth way. I highly recommend it! 😁

@@pattis.1645 yes, I definitely agreed with you a couple years ago when I watched an apparition and she seemed so distraught. I actually had an amazing experience recently after a couple of years of really just needing to know if this is truly of God. I could try to share here, but there's a lot so it will be shortened a bit. Before I share though, I would definitely say YES to praying about it and asking Jesus to personally give an answer, because I understand that no matter what I may say, we each need to go to Jesus Christ for answers.
Long story shortened, I had been exposed to Medugorje since I was 5. (Am 34 now) After a falling away thru teen & young years I had something similar to an illumination of consciousness where my faults at that time were strongly, undeniably revealed to me & needless to say my life, thanks to the grace of God, started to heal. Life went on & years later, I was able to go to Medugorje. I saw the face of Jesus in the risen christ statue. Not like a "think I saw His face" but like His actual, beautiful face looking at me through the statue. You'd think that would have me convinced, & I mostly believed, but there was still a bit of fear that "what if I'm just brainwashed" and that I saw Jesus, not Mary. So more praying. A couple years later, watched Marijana's apparition & felt either something's wrong or the signs must be close seeing her like that. So more searching ensued. I read Mirjana's book which opened my eyes to a lot, yet I still had a bit of doubt especially when watching or reading the comments about the Blessed Mother that are circulating these days. I felt conflicted and fearful that I was possibly believing lies. So I kept on praying! This past April, i was reflecting on the words of Jesus in matthew, "As in the days of Noah, people were marrying........up until the doors of the ark closed." I heard a voice in my heart say "Mary is the Ark. She is the Ark of the Covenant." I could understand somehow how the Blessed Mother will carry us through these coming times by leading us on the path to Jesus, but ark of the covenant I was baffled. I am not a scholar in scripture, & although I desire to know more I will admit to me the ark of the covenant was something from indiana jones! So, i looked up "Mary ark of covenant" in Google search trying to see if there was anything that could possibly explain what on earth that could mean. I saw a video pop up by Brant Pitre & began to watch. To my surprise, this is a concept that is well-known by many theologians and people who study the scriptures. While I watched I was 'shown' and felt this overlapping progression of how God has revealed himself to humanity throughout history, each time unfolding and expanding His revelation to us as a whole. I saw Noah's Ark, the Ark of the Covenant, Mary pregnant with Jesus and the church being carried by Mary..I felt it at the same time. It was an experience hard to put into words. The following message of Medugorje was May 2, and the Blessed Mother said in it (I'm paraphrasing) how she carried Jesus, the host within her womb. Prior to my experience a couple days before, I had no idea the meaning and the contents carried withing the Ark of the Covenant in the Old Testament. I had no idea that this was a theory already out out there, or a known thing. The experience, for me put my heart at rest and also helped me to fully put my trust in God and His plans. But I understand skepticism, as I almost regretted how skeptical I myself had been..but honestly God used both my skepticism & blindness to open my eyes & allow me to know for sure in my own heart. So I definitely urge personal prayer to God on all things because it's one thing to hear someone speak & to maybe start to ponder about something, but it's another thing to actually know. I feel God will reveal to anyone who asks, just dont give up & never stop seeking Him...He will not let us down! But Mary says "Pray! Pray! Pray!" which honestly it used to almost annoy me, but now I see why she says it!!! Prayer is seeking God, seeking Jesus, seeking the truth. God bless you & yes, I agree we need to bring everything to Jesus.
Hmmm. Why God doesnt heal crippled backs of his seers? Isnt that wierd? Im not claiming Međugorje is not sacred but I dont know what to think about those seers, many possessed people see Jesus, Angels, God himself etc. Even Devil can appear as being of light and love, what makes her different and special?

Que de gens crédules, c'est consternant ! Mirjana avait révélé il y a 30 ans que sa vision l'avait prévenu qu'elle ne la verrait plus sauf à son anniversaire et quand elle n'aurait pas le moral(ce qui est déjà incongru...), et pourtant elle continue à faire semblant de voir quelques chose ? Lors des vraies apparitions de Marie, Elle n'a jamais changé d'avis, sauf à Medjugorje et lors de toutes les fausses apparitions de Marie....!! Mirjana est connu depuis le début pour pleurer sur commande ; sa fragilité psychologique est l'un des traits de caractère de Mirjana. Le plus grave c'est qu'elle et tous les autres "voyants" ont menti et ce depuis le début de leur "vision" ! Apparemment cela n'a pas l'air de choquer grand monde comme si le mensonge et les mensonges de prétendus "voyants" n'étaient pas si important que cela ? De plus, il n'y a plus grand monde qui ait pris soin de lire les documents et enregistrements des "voyants" et d'autres personnes, archivés à Medjugorje et surtout à l'évêché de Mostar et qui sont à disposition de tous. Beaucoup de documents important sont dispo sur le net et dans de nombreux livres dont ceux de Joachim Bouflet qui a toute la confiance du Vatican. L'Eglise les a en sa possession et c'est forcément pour cela qu'elle ne reconnaît toujours pas Medjugorje depuis 30 ans et qu'elle ne reconnaîtra jamais Medjugorje !! Seule la pastorale demeure et c'est tout ! Il serait prudent et conseillé de lire le livre de feu le père Ivo Sivric, franciscain, O.F.M, natif de Medjugorje et dont la famille est connue dans cette endroit. Les Sivric sont nombreux dans cette région ; Lire "La face cachée de Medjugorje". Seulement 10% de ce livre suffisent pour comprendre que tout est faux ! Bernadette était éclatante à Lourdes lors des apparitions, Mirjana est quelconque et rien ne change à part ces tremblements qui ne sont que pure comédie. Cette mise en scène est vraiment lassante et si peu crédible.
Wenn es heute noch solche Erscheinungen geben würde, was und wer sagt dann die Wahrheit? Die Bibel ist abgeschlossen, lest doch bitte selber: 1 Kor. 13:8-10 !!!
