I'm actually really happy that Elvira cleared things up. The whole video I was thinking "wait, Elvira looks scary, but she definitely wouldn't hurt them" and then she clarified that everyone was just overly excited to have people to scare for Halloween.

@@agenttheater5 a couple of them like Frankenstein and Dracula have the theme of the real monsters are the humans, not the monsters. Its neglated with the slasher-horror movies like Friday the 13th (that's Jason movie right?) and Nightmare on Elm Street (Freddy's) and the Halloween movies (Mike Myers])

Can we just appreciate that at first when they don't see the monsters the brother keeps on hyping his sister with spookyness for trying to give her a sense of childhood since everybodys quarantined this halloween, a lot of kids will missed halloween which takes part in everyone's childhood

She was mainly the animator of a horror movie presentation segment, and "until next time, unpleasant Halloween" refers to her sign-off "Unpleasant dreams!" at the end of the show :)

The real "horror" is that kids are so desensitized that the classic scary movies that 80s children grew up with are wasted on today's youth. Now the real horror is the Fox song and Baby shark. This video is awesome

I love the reference to Trick R' Treat. I love the line about eyes up here. The costumes were great, love the special effects for Slimer, and each note for all of the monsters.

A few years ago I convinced my friends to take a walk through a park next to the woods on Halloween just to freak them out.
We ended up hearing some weird noises, so I thought it must be the wind or an animal and approached it as if it was something from a horror movie, still just playing them.
I ended up hearing something coming towards me quickly and my plan to run away screaming became far too real.
The next morning we found out there were 3 homeless men skulking those woods and several of those clown cult serial killers in the area, so I probably put all of us in actual danger; it's a good thing I was poised and ready to make noise and get out quickly 😅
The moral of this story is the world really is crazy and don't play mean pranks on your friends when it's a new moon (super dark) on Halloween 😅😂

@@glowworm2 I don't watch Horror movies.. but I seene Rocky Horror Show and another B-related show The Little Shop of Horrors, so i was aware of the RHS's names and I knew the name of Janet Lee because 1)she played a killed character in Psycho movie and 2) her daughter Janet Lee Curtis, a fellow Scream Queen, was in 2000s Disney Freaky Friday as the "Mom" of Lindsay Lohan's character. The only movie I have seen is "Ghostbusters" with my mom in recent years. But I guess the newscaster must had a horror-movie related name even though I was unsure about what the connection was . Scream movie must be where the Scream mask killer is from? Since It was one of the few characters I couldn't get (I could get Penny wise, Jack Nicholson, Gremlins, Adams Family, Freddy, Jason, Mike Myers, Chucky, Dracula, Frankenstein and the Bride of Frankenstein, Slimer ((Ghostbusters)), Sandron Sisters and Elvira)
@@PrincessofEllabur I don't watch many horror movies myself, but before this video premiered, I saw the cast list and wasn't sure who Neve Prescott was. I am familiar with most of the horror movie characters though, as in recognizing them instantly when they appeared. Yes, Sidney is the female protagonist from the Scream movies and where the killer--called GhostFace is from. Fun fact, the voice (separate from the actual actor dressed as GhostFace) of GhostFace in the franchise is Roger Jackson--who is best known for voicing Mojo Jojo from the Powerpuff Girls.

There’s got to be a nickname for this year’s spooky season. We’ve had a spooky year already and now we’re faced with the decision of “do we or don’t we trick or treat” with our kiddos....? I love this for its sort of homage to the effective beats of Michael Jackson's Thriller and combines it with the iconic characters in the beloved and dreaded genre of Horror. Honorable mentions: Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers, Chucky, Ghostface, Elvira, the Sanderson sisters, Valak the Nun, Pennywise, Beetlejuice, Jack Torrance, Dracula, Frankenstein, and last but not least Fester Addams. As a Michael Jackson fan and a fan of the Horror genre, PattyCake did an amazing job. 👻💀🧛🌕

I can't believe that I am a PCP Patron, and yet haven't taken the time to watch their back catalog until now. I am a pretty big fan of Ben Brainard's The Table series on TikTok/TH-cam, and I knew that he knew of Pattycake because Layne did a title card jingle for a spinoff series called the Statehouse. But it took Ben mentioning on Instagram that he was in a couple of Pattycake videos for me to realize that he was more than a random client. So weird and cool when creators that I follow independently turn out to be friends!
