Wow Hoops that’s AMAZING Zacoa I never really paid attention or ever knew of a Third Tower in Gold and Silver. It would be a Great addition in the JHOTO games. But as I read the little clip in the video as the Jhoto trainer talks to the old man. He says that after the tower was torn down they found a Gold/Silver Wing depending on the version. There’s so much unanswered questions and possibilities. 1)Could Golden Rod Tower be older than the Bell Tower and Bronze Tower. 2)Could this Tower be the Original Tower of Lugia,Ho-Oh and Zacoa where all three resided before going their separate way. 3)Since Zacoa represents land could it have went Underground into a Slumber and never left a Bronze wing, reason why it was never seen again/awaken like Lugia and Ho-oh. 4)Are there still people in modern day Jhoto that still hear stories of Zacoa.
Personally, Zacoa is my favorite of the episode. It just looks so majestic and cool Some ideas for other additions: •A fifth member of the Ruin legendaries. My idea is the Crown of the tyrant king, becoming a dark-steel Eagle/Falcon that commands the other four •A fourth member of the XYZ Legends, likely embodying the Afterlife. Keeping with the Norse mythology, and especially the World Tree, I can see Ratatosk working •The ultimate form of Cyclizar for Koraidon and Miraidon •A fifth Tapu. It could be the guardian of an unknown island, or perhaps one that sank beneath the waves
I've always thought a 5th treasure of ruin would be a straight up Chinese dragon (it doesn't even need to be a dragon type!) With elements of jade or something.
Wouldn't it have to start with "w". I searched it up and Xerneas's name is Celtic, Yveltal's name is Mayan aparently, and Zygarde's is French, so I would call the last one Woghaven (Woah gah ven) from the Hebrew word for tranquillity pronounced oga, and the English word haven, or even heaven. I'm not saying that the name that you chose is bad in any way, or that mine would fit better, I'm just suggesting a name
Fun Fact: Quetzalcoatl is also supposedly a cryptid that, every 50 years or so, a ritual occurs where they sacrifice a human being to Quetzalcoatl, until all members pass out or pretend to be dead when he arrives. There's both a 1980s movie and a lost tapes episode about it if you're interested in this monster. However, if it still exists in Mexico/Central America is yet to be discovered or sighted, and was probably presumed dead or extinct long ago, much like the other South American cryptids.
I actually do stuff with Mesoamerican history, archeology, etc, and have done some Pokemon stuff in the past: I like Zacoa quite a bit! Part of the symbolism behind Feathered Serpents in Mesoamerican art and iconography is that they represent the duality of both the divine, heavens, the sky, etc, alongside the mortal, living, and the earth: So on that level, a ground/flying typing works well. It arguably becomes a bit iffy that Zacoa specifically represents JUST the ground and Ho-Oh is entirely the sky as part of a GSC trio, but on the other hand, the underworld is often associated with the water in a lot of Mesoamerican cultures (alongside caverns and mirrors: think the reflective quality of water) so it actually works with Lugia as the water/underworld in the trio! Additionally, Part of the idea is also Feathered Serpents marking the boundary and movement between different realms (you see early Olmec Avian/Feathered Serpent iconography placed at thresholds between spaces/rooms in architecture and the like for example), so having Zacoa as an intermediary between Ho-Oh and Lugia thematically works well too. I think what would really tie everything together is if Zacoa maybe had forms to borrow the attributes of either of the other members (like if it could become Ground/Water too), which seems like a very Gamefreak thing to do for a third cover trio memeber given how Giratina, Kyurem, etc all got extra stuff, or if Ho-Oh also had a few serpent attribute (since Lugia is already sorta reptillian) so all 3 could have a mix of both avian and serpentine traits) I'll also add that while you did specifically mention Quetzalcoatl, I think Zacoa works best as a sort of vague Mesoamerican Feathered Serpent (or maybe specifically the Olmec Avian Serpent) rather then as a specific representation of the Aztec Quetzalcoatl: Quetzalcoatl as a specific deity as worshipped by the Aztec and other Late Postclassic centalk Mesoamerican civilizations (so also the Otomi, Huastec, Totonac, etc) was more a god of learning and the arts and the wind, less so in terms of the aforementioned dualism of realms: If you look at depictions of Quetzalcoatl in Aztec art for example, more often then not he's depicted in a humanoid form, wielding or surrounded by iconography of things like birds, flowers, priestly ornaments, spiral speech-scroll (representations of speech, sound, or air: This was also likened to the spiral cross section of a conch shell he wore as a pendant which again, could both blow air and be used in music) motifs, etc, all of which tie him to poetry, priesthood/learning, the wind/air or speech/music, etc. Some other versions of the god also have other specific attributes: Teotiuacan's feathered serpent diety for example was more tied to water, unusually, for example. But thankfully, the design you both came up with here actually does remind me of Feathered Serpents in general more then Quetzalcoatl in particular. I think the feathered "hood" around the head and the tailtip also does a good job evoking how Feathered Serpents usually get depicted: A lot of artists just slap wings on a snake, but that's pretty rare in Mesoamerican art, and instead usually Feathered Serpents in actual Mesoamerican art are depicted as having either feathers instead of scales (which the skin/feather flaps around the body in Zacoa also evoke), and/or a specific big, feathered collar/mane around the head and a tasseled tailtip, sorta like what you guys did here with the green sections! I think that green and brown color scheme and the hagged flaps also do a good job evoking "The Earth" conceptually on a visual design level, even putting aside the Mesoamerican symbolism stuff. Obviously there's some stuff I would have tweaked coming from a Mesoamerican history background (i'd have added some jagged/feathered eyebrows (or maybe it's like a crest running down the face? it's hard to say!) as seen on Olmec avian serpents, like on Monument 19 at La Venta, or on a specific Tlatilco ceramic, etc: "Early Representations of Mesoamerica's Feathered Serpent: Power, Identity, and the spread of a Cult" includes more examples) but, overall I think you both did a great job! It's definitely one of the better Feathered Serpent fakemon i've seen around. If either of you ever do more Mesoamerican themed fakemon, let me know (I also replied on tqiwtter), and i'd be down to help out, if time permits!
Good dreams with Cresselia; Nightmares with Darkrai; Daydreaming with Solarios. There could even be a fourth member, representing lucid dreams! Also, Zacoa is my favorite.
Personally, I've always seen Cresselia and Darkrai as kind of representatives of Lunar phases, representing the crescent moon and new moon respectively. So I think if that duo were turned into a trio, the third member should represent the full moon.
What about one that represents "sleepwalking" and "blue moon" and the concept of werewolves and other full moon associated beasts? Plus, giving it the Fighting-type makes sense thematically with creating a triangle with Cresselia (Psychic) and Darkrai (Dark), and also harkens to the general tradition of the dangers of waking a sleepwalker.
That one about the two towers is such a missed opportunity for GameFreak to be used in a Legends game for Johto -- we would've been able to experience the ancient Johto where that third tower was still in place before they built the Radio Tower in what we now know as Goldenrod City. PLEASE, GameFreak! Please make a game about this! It would be SO awesome! 🤩
Plus just like how Lugia and Ho-Oh are opposites of night and day, plus representing storms and rainbow, Zacoa color pallete reminds it of the nightfall/sunrise, and the fact its a ground type it could also represent earthquakes
Here's a Dex entry for Solarios: Solarios, the daydream pokmon: "It's said that on sunny days, Solarios can put people in a dream-like state without putting them to sleep. It uses this to defend its territory, leaving those affected dazed and confused for days at a time" I'd also imagine that it would have an ability that gives its opponents a confused status when sunny day is activated.
i really really like the concept of day dreaming for solaris. an idea that comes to mind that’s a bit different is a fighting type insomniac pokémon. it could make a type triangle with the other two and could be like representing fighting the urge to sleep and it could bring neutrality between the two. bringing about restlessness to people and pokémon would ward off the nightmares of darkrai but it would also repel the sweet dreams and rest brought on by cresselia.
You (or I guess the artists you commission) have had a streak of having some exceptional Holy Pokemon. I'll be sure to look to you if for some reason I need examples for the Light Type.
From what i understand of the Tower Duo, Lugia respresents the birth of life coming from the Mariana Trench in the sea, and Ho-Oh being the preservation of life, with it having the ability to reserect. So Zocoa could possibly represent the end of life, where everything returns to the graves in the ground.
Sprout, Radio, Light, Brass, & Tin the 5 Towers of Johto! The Towers of Ecruteak are related to Ho-oh & the Beast Trio, Light & Radio are mysterious, yet Sprout Tower is dedicated to Celebi's Great Guardian the Gigantic Bellsprout. Perhaps there was once more giant bellsprouts that called the massive Ilix Forest their home?
8:00 if “Legends Celebi” ever becomes a thing, we’d best get to see a part where Lugia still resided at the Brass tower before the inferno. Oh, and give us a Litwick-line regional variant based on the lanterns in Ecruteak~
For the Lunar duo, I would have gone for a Lucid Dreaming aspect and go for a Rover or Satellite inspired design. Maybe being Fairy type or steel depending on which aspect is more prominent.
So...Mewthree kinda has the same idea around it as the Indoraptor from the Jurassic Park franchise? As in the Indoraptor was a more refined and compact version of the Indominus Rex
I really like this series, the desings are so cool. I have a couple ideas for part 4: -For the galarian legendary birds, a Ghost/Flying variant of rocuatro from part 1. Maybe it could be a skeleton or some sort of obelisk or tombstone so that it still resembles its original type like the other birds. -For the guardians of alola I was thinking of a tapu artificialy created by the Aether Foundation. It would be based on a chameleon (since none of the tapus are based on a reptile) and it’s main body could be white and gold to match the esthetic of the Aether Foundation and to make it clear thats it is different from the other tapus and it’s shell could be green. Instead of generating a terrain it would have the ability mimicry and copy the type of the terrain and it would be a Normal/Fairy type.
Yeah if i did a third Tower Bird, im going with Flying/Grass type because Ho-oh has Fire and Lugia has Water, so we can do the starter ring in legendary form. Plus Goldenrod once was fields of gold(en rod). Honestly id call them the Harvest Trio. One waters the land, another grows the land, and the third burns the land leaving ash behind to revive the soil.
Some ideas for a part 2 of duos: Eon Duo: Latius (a non-gendered one to contrast with Latias and Latios having genders) Hero Duo: Zaiaro (a yellow bowslinging wolf, as yellow is another printer color, and bows are also weapons) Paradox Duo: Genraidon (a Cyclizar evolution themed around the present, being both orange and green, satisfying the Vermilion theory and the light spectrum theory)
In a legends game Zacoa could be angry that it’s tower was torn down so the player has to quell Zacoa’s rage, Zacoa would then leave clearly knowing the the people don’t need them anymore
What if there were new members for groups formed by ordinary pokémon? Like a meddler in Solrock and Lunatone's duality, or an evolution for Jynx to restore the trio with Electabuzz and Magmortar, or even a species either loved or hated by both Zangoose and Seviper.
So interesting fact about the tower duo: both debuted before Gen 2 was even made, and both in the anime. It's pretty well known that Ho-Oh was shown in the first episode of the anime, and the second movie is centered around Lugia and its child. Also both Ho-Oh and Lugia are trio masters, Ho-Oh having the beasts and Lugia having the birds. With both of those, I'm not really sure how you could have made Zacoa more fitting, good job regardless!
The Weather trio will be hard to give a fourth member, given Groudon is both Land and Mantle (Ground/Fire in Primal). While the fourth precious Gem is Diamond which Dialga takes. Although, a Steel type for the core of the Earth could work. And Palkia covers Space...
Groudon = Ground, Kyogre = Sea, Rayquaza = Sky, Deoxys rivalry with Rayquaza may exist for a reason. Outer Space vs Atmosphere, also if I remember correctly there were Gen 3 Trading Card Packs with Deoxys treated as a 4th Member of that Trio. You ask for a 4th Member, although it may have existed all along depending on your viewpoint.
For a new Tapu member Pele or Maui could be used for influence with its main color being orange for the Orange Isles or white for the Aether Foundation. Another Calyrex steed could be a water horse based on the kelpie, brag, each-uisge, colt-pixie, and glastyn.
What if each region from gen 1-5 had enough Pokemon introduced to make full teams of a single type? Gen 1-Kanto was seriously lacking in Dragon and Ghost types. So designing 5-6 new ones that could have gain the newer types of Dark, Steel and Fairy in later gens would be neat to see.
PLEASE. Make this happen. Gen 1 and gen 2 have what I call "the ghost problem". They are severely lacking in ghosts and dragons. Gen 1 had only three of each of those two types that made up a single evolutionary line, and gen 2 only gave us one single additional member of those types. The real kicker is that both of them are nearly impossible to obtain in gen 2.
Oh, yes please!! As much as I love Shiny Dragonite, it’d be neat if another dragon type Pokémon all in green existed once fully evolved. I’m thinking bipedal with a simple yet wholesome design: a long neck and tail, lime or light green scales, a messy or wavy dark green mane (and maybe matching facial hair), round yellow eyes, a medium long snout, and breathes out non-toxic smoke or steam that smells heavenly, relaxing, and even aromatherapeutic. I’m thinking it should have a type combination of Dragon and Fairy. Hey, I can dream, can’t I? 🤷🏻♂️
I thought the tower that was torn down was Lugias tower, and the Brass tower was Ho-Ohs tower until it burned down, which would have led to the Bell Tower being built. When you said there was a third tower, I thought you meant Pokemon Tower in Lavender Town, where the dad are buried, which could lead to a ghost type Legendary.
Alternatively, the lunar duo could've had a pokemon that has two forms (crescent (speed) and gibbous (defensive)), which could've been about lucid dreams
I freaking love Zacoa. I would 100% play pokemon bronze with Zacoa as the mascot. Also I think that the treasures of ruin have great potential for new memebers.
When this guy was talking about sponsor, i thought it was some kind of art tool or somethin similar but damn i wasnt expecting Manscaped, well guess you gotta keep those pokeballs tidy
I think a better addition to the Lunar Duo would've been something related to or based on the full moon instead of the sun. Cresselia and Darkrai always seemed like they were related to the Lunar phases to me, like a crescent moon and new moon respectively, so a third member of the lunar trio should reflect that IMO. I think a fire type still works since the moon can only be seen since the moon can only bee seen in the night sky by reflecting sunlight and the full moon is when it's reflecting as much light as possible, so maybe it should be a Fire/Psychic type were wolf? Like something that looks like a cross between a Hisuian Zoroark and midnight Lycanroc.
I love how you put heart into all the videos you make, the concept of Solarios is brutal, it shows how creative you can be and that is something that I greatly applaud in content creators.👏🏽
Zacoa was my favorite of this video, just wanted to let this registred. Now that i've done this, Solarious is a my second favorite... and gotted my out of guard! I though you would do a pure Fighting-type inspired by a werewolf to make a type trio and because of this moon chaninegans (and yes, i've find that on other pokemon/fakemon video), but i kinda liked it! Very well though consept! I can image in a movie where him makes a banch of arms coming out of his Sun-shaped Ring and attackes Darkrai and Cresselia because it's out of control or because he seens them like enemies or something. I just a bit surprised that you didn't maded a whole new pokemon out of a hidden detail about Mew and Mewtwo, and made Mewthree stand! But i know, sometimes beeing straight it's the better option, right? Anyways, nice designings!😁👍😎
Solarios has to be one of the more unique Fakemon I think I've ever seen. it almost looks like a cocoon with Darkrai inside but covered in rings that might turn into Cresselias crescent moon wings. I also think Fairy would be a good type add to the fire or just mono fairy since a day dream is more likely to be fantastical. something you have more control of rather than a random dream. ACTUALLY scratch that. literally while writing this comment an idea struck. Keep Solarios as the Day Dream pokemon, but make this a quartet with the Fairy type I mentioned being based on Lucid dreaming. I feel it would need to incorporate something similar to Cresselia's crescent wings, Darkrai's white, waving hair? is it hair? anyway and also Solarios' spikes from its ring that resemble solar flares, I'm thinking like a Lunar eclipse. And the name, Lusodeus. coming from the words Lucid, Lucid dreaming. Morpheus who was the son of Hypnos, the greek god of sleep who was said bring to dreams to humans. and Deus which can mean God, playing on the fact that in Lucid dreams you can basically have god like powers. if any of that sounds cool to anyone reading that ones for free LOL. I just don't have the time, skill, money or platform to make it.
I actually really like Solarios. I was very confused with the whole sun motif, but once you explained it was based on daydreams it really clicked for me. I actually had my own idea for an addition to the lunar duo, so the ring now has one more hat by my hand. The idea I came up with was a Mono-Fairy Type named Luseni, who (as may be inferred by the name) is based on lucid dreams. I chose Fairy because I see Luseni as a mischievous Pokémon who uses its dream manipulating powers to play both pranks on and games with people within their dreams, as well as the inherently whimsical idea that lucid dreams bring of “I can do ANYTHING”. As for the moon influence in the design, where Cresselia is based on a crescent moon and Darkrai is (in my eyes) based on a new moon, Luseni would be based on a half moon, as I can see how it can be sort of a representation of lucid dreams being the middle ground between dreams and reality, as they bring the infinite possibilities of dreams and the self-awareness and creativity of reality. To reflect this, I can see its visual design having two separate colour schemes being divided right down the middle, one being incredibly bright with several vibrant colours, the other being a dark monochrome. So yeah. I just got really creative all of a sudden and wanted to share.
honestly I had no idea what you'd do for the lunar duo. I just thought a pokemon that represents those super random dreams that you have a hard time describing to people and it making sense XD
I like Mewthree’s design and how it’s a more enhanced clone of Mew and how it’s a further development on Mewtwo as a concept with its nature being more peaceful. I like how Mewthree’s design is a mix of Mew and Mewtwo. Zacoa serpentine design looks awesome and represents the land. Solarios design concept representing Sun and daytime dreams fits well.
There's the Sprout Tower which could be associated with the earth, it references bellsprout a pokemon that grow fromt he earth. There's a legend that the tower was constructed with a 100ft Bellsprout. What if it was actually a legendary pokemon that resembled bellsprout. And it could fit the theme of the land with Ho-oh representing the sky and Lugia the sea. I love Aztec myth but it feel out of place of a duo pulling inspiration from East Asian myth in a japanese inspired region, with Lugia based off Ryūjin and Ho-oh based off Fenghuang
So there’s four towers then 🧐. What if Legends Jhoto give us 2 new Birds instead of one. And they represent the Seasons 😅. Autumn 🍂 ???=???=Ho-oh Summer ☀️ Moltres=Entei=??? Spring 🌹 Zapdos=Rakiu=Lugia Winter ❄️ Articuno=Suicune=???
About the idea of Ho-Oh and Lugia duality, I've heard of a legend from Aztec or Mayan origin about a human sacrifice being performed. The human sacrifice would throw themselves into a bonfire in order to achieve greatness. The first human sacrifice was a man with lots of jewelry and fine, colorful clothing who proudly marched towards the fire at first but started to have doubts and cold feet. But then out of nowhere came a humble, plain looking man who walked without fear towards the fire and became the Sun. In order to not lose face, the fine colored man jumped into the fire afterwards to become the Moon. So to have an Aztec themed third Pokemon could be more on the nose?
There are 5 Towers in Johto, 2 in Ecruteak (Burned Brass & Tin Bell Towers), the Goldenrod Radio Tower, Violet City's Sprout Tower, & lastly the lighthouse of Olivine City. I suspect that Sprout Tower may have relations to Celebi & that Giant Bellsprout served the time traveler much as the Beasts serve Ho-oh.
Zacoa could also have its own trio it’s the trio master of, which are aquatic, since ho-oh controls a land trio, and Luiga controls a sky trio, it makes sense for zacoa to control a sea trio of fire lighting and either ice or water, and maybe they, ho-oh, and Lugia could also have a super trio master, how’s metal is platinum and travels though space.
So... can I suggest next legends?: (I hope u will take all 4, and I wonder which "3" will u choose) 1. Genderless Lati (as bonus) 2. Pressence pokemon (4th member of Creation Trio: Dialga, Palkia and Giratina) the Legendary Pokemon, that was given responsibility (from Arceus) for new creatures. Electric type, nopedal, state of matter - plasm 3a. Resurection Pokemon (4th Member of Aura Trio: Xerneas, Yveltal and Zygarde) the Legendary Pokemon, that can bring back dead and give them essence that is just trying to be life, but it's just DEMO 3b. Love Pokemon (4th Member of Aura Trio: Xerneas, Yveltal and Zygarde) the Legendary Pokemon that is responsible for falling in love, as well as disappearing of this feeling. Life, Death and Love - those are 3 things that humankind will never understand. 4. Defiled Pokemon (4th Member of DD Trio, and 3rd Hero Wolf) Name Zayerro (Cian, Mazenta and Yerro are just Japanese pronounciation of Cyan, Magenta and Yellow) Artifact... Idk maybe Wand? This pokemon because of helping Woman recognized as witch, was decided to be unworthy Hero Tittle, Statue or even ever mentioning. Even if She was the one that was supporting her Sister and Brother fighting with Eternatus.
Personally, for the third member of the lunar duo, I would have gone deeper into the dream inspiration and made one based of fever dreams. I think it would work really well as a third type of dream and be pretty funny.
Those who are commenting about how Mewthree should be the second attempt and not the third should remember ditto the first attempt at Mew who was a complete failure to even have a proper shape made by combining all the Pokemon DNA into one Amorphous blob
I dont see the 3rd member of the Luigia and Ho-Oh because it too has to have a trio of its own which is excatly how Ho-oh is the legendary master of the Legendary Beasts, while Lugia is the master of the Legendary Birds, so i dont see a new member to happen till we see new trio members of a future gen game to have it to become a master.
Agreed & it also needs to feel like something that would be worshipped in Johto. Right now Arceus (Platinum) is the closest thing, yet it is much too overqualified to be compared to Ho-oh & Lugia.
Love the concepts behind the mons. They are really well thought out and interesting. The one thing I didn't like, were the designs. Zacoa doesn't look bird-like enough to me. I think a third tower bird should have at least wings and legs. Solaris looks way to Alola-ish to me. If, I'd seen it without context I'd be 100 % it's something conected to the Tappus. I understand that Cresselia and Darkrai have no real creature design connecting them, but they at least have a discernable head, and a similar approach to their silhouettes. Either way. Good job. Keep them coming.
Since Ho-oh is the master of the legendary beasts, and Lugia is the master of the legendary birds, that means Zacoa must have a trio to rule over as well…
Pokemon Bronze version real. What kind of legendary trio would Zacoa be a leader of? Lugia leads the legendary birds. Ho-oh resurrected the legendary beasts from the dead.
By the way since we have the burned tower now, wouldn’t Zacoa reside in that tower instead of the Radio tower in Goldenrod City? Or perhaps was part of the Pokémon tower in ancient history before coming to the radio tower in Jhoto?
It would be so cool to have a pokemon like Zacoa for a future gold/silver game! Especially since the original games didn't get a third box legendary member like subsequent releases. Great work by you and Trevenart!
Solarios should be fighting fire which counters Darkrai dark typing and cresselia psychic typing and zacoa will settle in sprout tower it will be super cool as a post game content . Btw love your videos
Here a idea a third member for koraidon and miraidon one that represents the present and i think a good type for it could be flying/dragon or rock/dragon
Got to admit it threw me with your addition to the Johto birds not being, itself, a bird. I do get your reasoning though. I would’ve gone with inspiration from the moa; an extinct, giant, flightless bird from New Zealand. Though I think it has ties to the thunderbird and thus Galarian Zapdos, so that may be why not. That would’ve been my take.
Uhm... Are not gonna talk about that the tower the radio tower replaced was lugias original tower ? The director actually said that on the clip you showed... He even said we found this item on top of the old tower while deconstructing. I mean Zacoa could be connected to Bellsprout tower.
I agree bro 😎 spot on. I knew something didn’t sit right with what he was saying because they found a Silver wing. So the Tower that Burned wasn’t his Lugias Original Tower. So it must been a newly built one then.
@@youngreckless1608 Well... Rainbow is kinda a mixture of Sun light and rain, so that make sense But there is one more thing: "Babies" Lugia has Kanto Birds, Ho-oh has Johto Beasts, what Zacoa could have?
@@Rajd_is It can be a Levels to it 3,3,2,2,1 meaning Lugia and Hooh who are the 2 leaders of the 3 Dogs and 3 Birds and Zacoa being the Leader of the 2 Lugia and Hooh. If that makes any sense lol 😅
Dont u think that mewfour will be a combination of mew and mewtwo like mewthree but instead of the good trates, mewfour adapted the bad ones. The third member of the lugua and ho-oh duo would actually be perfect for one more reason, lugia is UNDER the sea, ho-oh is ABOVE the skies and its only natural that the third is right in the surface
Your Mewthree concept is pretty cool [maybe for the franchises' 30th Anniversary?] Ohhh. Zacoa is very nice with those Quetzalcoatl qualities [a Grounded Rayquaza somewhat too]! Solarios is cool as well. A bit abstract [without going too out there like the likes of Diagla and Palkia a gen later]. [Some pleasing mid tonal colour schemes with all 3 of them at the end too!]
Wasn't Eternatus the Cannon of the Trio? The Sword & Shield & the Dragon Cannon that they overcame. Guns are a touchy subject for kids to utilize in the modern age, where gun violence happens almost everyday in America. Keep in mind that Remoraid had to have virtually all of its gun aspects removed to avoid controversy.
Given how Lugia and Ho-Oh have their own legendary trios associated with them with the Legendary Birds for Lugia and the Legendary Beasts for Ho-Oh, I can imagine that Zacao probably has a similar trio of legendary Pokémon tied to it. Probably a sea-based group since the Birds are sky-based and the Beasts are land-based.
I love Zacoa. It's looks amazing and it's existence could be explained perfectly. ❤ Ground Flying type is so powerful that it really should really just go to a legendary. And I was too to think of a third game, that could be named Pokémon Bronze. And I was so happy when you said that too. Solarios is also very cool, right after you said it's name and showed it, I was like "daydream" and then, I was right. Mewthree is cute. And interesting, so it's basically a new try to clone mew and make it better as mewtwo, but with new technology and such. And it looks cool.
for the Lunar Duo…I think it would have been better to do Lucid Dreaming…like this Pokémon goes into other Pokémon/people’s dreams to assist them in their dreams, good or bad. They are kinda like a guide and can also wake them up or keep them asleep forever…….. Name: Lucida (lu-cee-da) Type: Fairy Look: floating, more translucent (bc it can go through people into their dreams) and bubbly like a dream could

Perfect
Manscaped are terrible but appreciate you getting that coin 😂
Mewthree being in the shape of the team rocket R seems to be a nice little happy accident and I love it.
all three are super cool
Mewthree, more successful mew clone
Zekoa, makes a lot of since
Solarios, day dreams...like these pokemon lol
Personally, Zacoa is my favorite of the episode. It just looks so majestic and cool
Some ideas for other additions:
•A fifth member of the Ruin legendaries. My idea is the Crown of the tyrant king, becoming a dark-steel Eagle/Falcon that commands the other four
•A fourth member of the XYZ Legends, likely embodying the Afterlife. Keeping with the Norse mythology, and especially the World Tree, I can see Ratatosk working
•The ultimate form of Cyclizar for Koraidon and Miraidon
•A fifth Tapu. It could be the guardian of an unknown island, or perhaps one that sank beneath the waves
Loved the idea for an addition to the xyz trio, absolute W (pun intended)
I've always thought a 5th treasure of ruin would be a straight up Chinese dragon (it doesn't even need to be a dragon type!) With elements of jade or something.
Zacoa was my fav from this video
Wouldn't it have to start with "w".
I searched it up and Xerneas's name is Celtic, Yveltal's name is Mayan aparently, and Zygarde's is French, so I would call the last one Woghaven (Woah gah ven) from the Hebrew word for tranquillity pronounced oga, and the English word haven, or even heaven.
I'm not saying that the name that you chose is bad in any way, or that mine would fit better, I'm just suggesting a name
@@isaiahfrancis3178 Ratatosk is the squirrel of the World Tree. Sorry, I should have clarified
Nobody going to talk about that Mewthree's head thing being connected to the tail Actually looking like the number 3? Just me? Ok then.
I thought it looked like an R, like Team Rocket 😅
I can see,now that u menton it
I was too focused on the fact that the brain and the ass share blood
I saw it but it also makes me think of a coffee mug handle once I noticed the head was connected fully.
Hey, you’re right, it does look like a three! Can’t believe I missed that.
Zacoa would be a nice mascot for Pokémon Bronze.
Or what you think about Pokémon legends: zacoa?

Fun Fact: Quetzalcoatl is also supposedly a cryptid that, every 50 years or so, a ritual occurs where they sacrifice a human being to Quetzalcoatl, until all members pass out or pretend to be dead when he arrives. There's both a 1980s movie and a lost tapes episode about it if you're interested in this monster. However, if it still exists in Mexico/Central America is yet to be discovered or sighted, and was probably presumed dead or extinct long ago, much like the other South American cryptids.

I think a third member of the tower duo would be cool if we ever get a Legends style game for Johto
So true, I actually thought of a third member to the tower duo being based on a ninetailed fox with ground/fairy as it's typing.
@@kkstar1718 basically a Ninetales but in a sort of diancie situation?
@@CoralReaper707 I guess in a way, but not make it look too similar to Ninetales

I think what would really tie everything together is if Zacoa maybe had forms to borrow the attributes of either of the other members (like if it could become Ground/Water too), which seems like a very Gamefreak thing to do for a third cover trio memeber given how Giratina, Kyurem, etc all got extra stuff, or if Ho-Oh also had a few serpent attribute (since Lugia is already sorta reptillian) so all 3 could have a mix of both avian and serpentine traits)
I'll also add that while you did specifically mention Quetzalcoatl, I think Zacoa works best as a sort of vague Mesoamerican Feathered Serpent (or maybe specifically the Olmec Avian Serpent) rather then as a specific representation of the Aztec Quetzalcoatl: Quetzalcoatl as a specific deity as worshipped by the Aztec and other Late Postclassic centalk Mesoamerican civilizations (so also the Otomi, Huastec, Totonac, etc) was more a god of learning and the arts and the wind, less so in terms of the aforementioned dualism of realms: If you look at depictions of Quetzalcoatl in Aztec art for example, more often then not he's depicted in a humanoid form, wielding or surrounded by iconography of things like birds, flowers, priestly ornaments, spiral speech-scroll (representations of speech, sound, or air: This was also likened to the spiral cross section of a conch shell he wore as a pendant which again, could both blow air and be used in music) motifs, etc, all of which tie him to poetry, priesthood/learning, the wind/air or speech/music, etc.
Good dreams with Cresselia;
Nightmares with Darkrai;
Daydreaming with Solarios.
There could even be a fourth member, representing lucid dreams!
Also, Zacoa is my favorite.
or add a leader of the trio/quarter thats a dream catcher
@@brandanmckenzie Yeah that's a cool idea
Personally, I've always seen Cresselia and Darkrai as kind of representatives of Lunar phases, representing the crescent moon and new moon respectively. So I think if that duo were turned into a trio, the third member should represent the full moon.
@@MoostachedSaiyanPrince
I like this idea way more than Solarios.
Here's a Dex entry for Solarios:
Solarios, the daydream pokmon: "It's said that on sunny days, Solarios can put people in a dream-like state without putting them to sleep. It uses this to defend its territory, leaving those affected dazed and confused for days at a time"
I'd also imagine that it would have an ability that gives its opponents a confused status when sunny day is activated.
i really really like the concept of day dreaming for solaris. an idea that comes to mind that’s a bit different is a fighting type insomniac pokémon. it could make a type triangle with the other two and could be like representing fighting the urge to sleep and it could bring neutrality between the two. bringing about restlessness to people and pokémon would ward off the nightmares of darkrai but it would also repel the sweet dreams and rest brought on by cresselia.
Zakoa is a fantastic concept and great art work. Loved that one.
Thanks so much!!
Zacoa could be a nice think in next legends like pokemons ;). We could see why he is missing in modern era.
Thought the new member for Johto would have been Bellsprout seeing that it has it's own tower
Petition to have a Johto Legends game titled: Pokemon Legends : Bellsprout
I have a couple ideas for part 4:
-For the galarian legendary birds, a Ghost/Flying variant of rocuatro from part 1.
Or the grass type plants, water type waters and fire type is like the sun
Some ideas for a part 2 of duos:
Eon Duo: Latius (a non-gendered one to contrast with Latias and Latios having genders)
Hero Duo: Zaiaro (a yellow bowslinging wolf, as yellow is another printer color, and bows are also weapons)
Paradox Duo: Genraidon (a Cyclizar evolution themed around the present, being both orange and green, satisfying the Vermilion theory and the light spectrum theory)
I think you mean Viridian, not Vermillion. The latter is a red similar to scarlet.
8:18 why this pokémon reminded me of a monster Najarala in monster hunter ultimate 4. but with no arms 😂.
I like how Mewthree's tail-crest almost looks like a 3. A floaty 3.
Agreed, which is why I was hoping to see Kantonian variants back in Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee
I was also thinking about lucid dreaming. They are similar to day dreaming since you can control both of them
I freaking love Zacoa. I would 100% play pokemon bronze with Zacoa as the mascot.
Also I think that the treasures of ruin have great potential for new memebers.
The Luna duo's triplet could be related to the eclipse and I think the hole in your design of the sun makes me think of the eclipse
When this guy was talking about sponsor, i thought it was some kind of art tool or somethin similar but damn i wasnt expecting Manscaped, well guess you gotta keep those pokeballs tidy
I wasn't convinced with Zacoa since it isn't a bird or bird-like. But after listening to the inspiration behind it I was SOLD. Excellent fakemon👍
Thank you, I appreciate it!!
Quetcequotal is rayquaza's inspiration too
Zacoa is such an incredible concept! Keep doing this series please!
Thank you! I’m glad you like it! 😊
I like how Solarios is just an exploding egg with ring on it's forhead.
Please, sir, I beg you, give us an ice type member of the weather trio. Or a ground one for sandstorms
We already have a ground member, rock will do since "sandstorm" is a rock type move
@@karar.kendall4872 it’s so easy to forget that Groudon isn’t a fire type
honestly I had no idea what you'd do for the lunar duo. I just thought a pokemon that represents those super random dreams that you have a hard time describing to people and it making sense XD
For the Lunar duo, I was thinking a third one could represent dreamless sleep.
What if it was GIGANTAMAX Bellsprout.
So there’s four towers then 🧐.
What if Legends Jhoto give us 2 new Birds instead of one.
And they represent the Seasons 😅.

Should've been a full moon Pokemon That had to do something with lucid dreaming.
So your saying that Ho-Oh represents the ☀️ and Lugia the 🌙 😅.
And the Jewelry represents Gold and Silver 😅.
"There actually is a third tower in Johto..." Yeah, the Bellsprout Tower. "The radio tower" Not where I thought this was going but ok.
Please do a part 4 of this. This series is awsome
I’m glad you like it!! I definitely plan on doing a part 4 if this video does well!!
Excellent ideas, very creative and matching to the actual lore. Huge kudos dude.

1. Genderless Lati (as bonus)
2. Pressence pokemon (4th member of Creation Trio: Dialga, Palkia and Giratina) the Legendary Pokemon, that was given responsibility (from Arceus) for new creatures. Electric type, nopedal, state of matter - plasm
3a. Resurection Pokemon (4th Member of Aura Trio: Xerneas, Yveltal and Zygarde) the Legendary Pokemon, that can bring back dead and give them essence that is just trying to be life, but it's just DEMO
I think that Zayerro would be a howitzer
@@gibbsterV no because it's not medieval equipment, and Eternatus already represents cannon
I like how Mew Three's tail looks like the number 3! 👍🏾
Solarios is 100% male cause Cresselia is 100% female and Darkraiis genderless
A full moon mon seems more like a natural third member for the Moon Duo. Given Cresselia is Crescent and Darkrai is the New Moon.
Personally, for the third member of the lunar duo, I would have gone deeper into the dream inspiration and made one based of fever dreams. I think it would work really well as a third type of dream and be pretty funny.
I love this series of yours and your designs are amazing....I rarely love fakemon designs and you are one of those who have creative designs....
Am I the only one who thought mew evolved into Mewtwo when they first got introduced to pokemon as a kid.
No you are not😂
Love the concepts behind the mons.
Since Ho-oh is the master of the legendary beasts, and Lugia is the master of the legendary birds, that means Zacoa must have a trio to rule over as well…
We just gonna ignore the fact that the trainer at 0:51 sends out a Simisear to fight reshiram?!
Pokemon Bronze version real. What kind of legendary trio would Zacoa be a leader of? Lugia leads the legendary birds. Ho-oh resurrected the legendary beasts from the dead.
Really love Solarios design and think that adding the Fairy typing could really emphasize the daydreaming part of the design. A Fire/Fairy Solarios
Isn’t Rayquaza already Quetzalcoatl?
honestly, the last one looks more like a Tapu than related to Lunala and Darkrai
I made a legendary Pokemon for the creation trio named topzia, being based on topazes, energy, plasma, lobsters, and axolotls
Can you try to make it?
Daydreams for the 3rd lunar pokemon was actually a brilliant choice. Well done.
I thought that we're going to have a 3rd member of the Eon Dragon Duo (Latias & Latios). 😂
Here a idea a third member for koraidon and miraidon one that represents the present and i think a good type for it could be flying/dragon or rock/dragon

Jsi borec. Mám moc rád tvoji tvorbu.
Zacoa is like Rayquaza (based on Quetzal) and Zygarde (land serpent) combined 😊
I like Zacoa but I heard Ho-oh and Lugia represent one more thing
and it's... Weather - To be exact: Rainbow and Storm
what would Zacoa be then?
I guess Sun shine 😅 lol
@@youngreckless1608 Well... Rainbow is kinda a mixture of Sun light and rain, so that make sense
But there is one more thing: "Babies" Lugia has Kanto Birds, Ho-oh has Johto Beasts, what Zacoa could have?

Zacoa is awesome!
Zacoa is just representing the game, bronze and brick bronze
Zacoa should be Rock and Flying type
Your Mewthree concept is pretty cool [maybe for the franchises' 30th Anniversary?]
Ohhh.
If zacian and zamazenta don’t get zavermlion and it’s a gun or bow I’ll be sad
Probably a bow.
Probably a sea-based group since the Birds are sky-based and the Beasts are land-based.
dude, you should od one for every region! This was sooo coool!!!!!
I haven't seen a comment mention this before, but Zacoa resembles Najarala from Monster Hunter, and by a lot. Which is why I love it.
I would’ve loved if a paradox ho-oh created walking wake or that supposed beast combo that we should’ve gotten
for the Lunar Duo…I think it would have been better to do Lucid Dreaming…like this Pokémon goes into other Pokémon/people’s dreams to assist them in their dreams, good or bad. They are kinda like a guide and can also wake them up or keep them asleep forever……..
Name: Lucida (lu-cee-da)
Type: Fairy
Look: floating, more translucent (bc it can go through people into their dreams) and bubbly like a dream could
