Hey Duca, you're doing fantastic. Anyone who emigrates to an unknown country, builds a boat and receives a child deserves respect. Lots of respect. We are happy that you include us in your lives. I've been watching for years but have never written anything, but I will now because you deserve it. We hope for many more great videos. And stay true to yourself. Grtz from The Netherlands
I've been following you since the container home and I see no reason to unsubscribe at this point. The build of the boat is amazing and I know the making of the interior will be full of surprises! No pressure, take care the Duca's family and "see" you when you can.
Turn down the pressure Duca, I for one have been watching years and have watched your adventures and projects, I had no expectations as to what you choose to create content around. Relax, You and Roberta have got this and I hope I speak for everyone else here, or at least most of them, when I say chill dude, We are all good here no pressure, we know you are working hard and things will happen when they happen.
Nice to see you again. No way I am going to unsubscribe from your channel after watching for this long. I still think you guys are super heroes with the life choices you have made. As for the boat, it looks really great, so far and if that is anything to go by, it should be bloody lovely once it is finished!
Roberta, you look marvelous. Motherhood apparently fits your personality, you are glowing like a princess. Have you been watching the Vendee Globe? Truly amazing!
Hi Duca Roberta and the little bundle of joy. Been with you for a long time and I wait for the next video to come out. With the latest update. God bless you all . From a very happy supporter. Keep going the way you are .
I would never unsubscribe because life interfered with your ability to get a video out every week! You and Ran Sailing are two of the most interesting TH-cam channels available. I’m with both of you for the long haul!
Loyal viewer here, understand your concern and that you have everything invested in this project. You make great content, be patient, we'll still be here. Happy New Year!
Isn't it amazing how such a small child can throw your lives so far from how you used to be? Missing a few videos doesn't matter. What matters is your family and being complete together.
I'm still here and subscribed, no worries! Your boat is a fascinating project and I know from my own experience that new babies demand and deserve a lot. Chill and enjoy both 🙂.
I’ve been a long term subscriber and have only commented previously when you felt down by negative comments. What seems to have been “lost” is the way you made us feel we were going on your journey with you both. Happiness and joy used to come across every week and I’m sure that’s why so many of us subscribed. In recent months there has been a bit of a disconnect and why you seem worried that you’re losing subscribers because of a lack of seeing progress on the boat build, but I feel we are not seeing some of the joy you gave us a glimpse of in this weeks episode. Your journey/story is wonderful and of course your family is the most important thing. My suggestion would be 50/50 split between sharing your ups and downs and the other half boat building. Don’t be so hard on yourselves, fortnightly episodes hopefully gives you more of a work/life balance. Nearly a quarter of a million subscribers is an incredible achievement you both should be proud of what you’ve created and feel lucky to have felt part of your journey.
Congratulations on the new baby. I just love little ones. My three grand babies are Papa's pride and joy. It is nice to get a update, thanks for sharing.
I've been following you since your first boat start to finish and I will watch this one too. I have not on subscribed. It is what it is. You can't control that. That's the way it is when you construct and building things. It's the nature of the beast. You never know when exactly is going to be done. You can have an estimate but it doesn't always go that way
Those of us who have watched your channel for years get it. I'll be here when the next video posts. You do the best you can and that is all one can ask for.
We are not going anywhere guys. I'm really excited for the new look of the build. Hey, Life takes us different places and times. Stick with it. We're watching. Cheers. 🙂
We watch you because we like you and what you are doing. Keep it up. Building boats is a great leaning experience for those of us who do it in our minds all the time, waiting for our turn.
Not to worry! We’re not going anywhere. Love to follow your family adventures and boat construction. We’re located on the north end of Lake Michigan Escanaba and at 6 below zero there’s nothing better to do than watch a boat building video with warm sun coming through the living room. Gallivant a Catalina 36 waiting for the ice to leave the bay in late April…Capt Hansen
I’m just glad to see you guys! Yes, the boat will be great when we actually see you work on it but boats and sailing is only a part of why I watch your channel!
First and foremost, you have nothing to apologize for. The boat is coming along nicely. To build something of this complexity and quality isn’t easy nor fast. I am amazed that you guys have been able to get this much done. To build an amazing craft, have a baby, and setup shop in another country is very ambitious. And to top it off you build a motor home! Just keep doing what you are doing and let us tag along as observers. You will complete your incredible journey of this new part of your life. I applaud you and wish you all the best. Regards from Your Pal Al
Hell!!! I would never unsubscribe from you're channel. It's hard to juggle everything in your life. I don't blame you. Just do what you can, when you can.
Hi guys, we love your journey. Building anything is rarely ever completed on time & it’s not within your control. We are so excited about the baby & you need & must take time to enjoy the moment. We are here to stay.
Coming soon! A very French promise. Your videos are alwaays worth watching, even without progress on the boat. Your baby is really cute! Keep it up. A fan.
Me da alegria de volver a verte amigo, te deseo a ti y tu familia un fantástico 2025, y que que el barco pronto le veamos navegando ya queda menos, saludos desde Malaga España.
You guys have presented yourself so realistically, you show us how things truly are. We love that about you. Dont be so hard on yourself. I have also been following you since you started your container conversion. Hey! Maybe you could do a video on what the container looks like now?
Love your design ! Really looks like the deck saloon will be somthing you can look out of from a seated position , so many deck salons do not have a proper view! Good luck will rest of build , so glad you are doing this in Europe even though costs will be higher ! Cheers Warren
@ that’s a good point of course and most materials and components are the same cost , except wood if in Brazil! But you also are close to most of the manufactures of boating components in Europe ( even if some are made over seas) the design work is local , so you will have much better options than if you were in Brazil where there may be limited supply of some products . Looking forward to following along from USA . Cheers Warren
Jamais retirar a subscrição do vosso canal.
I loved watching you both restore Odd and now I'm enjoying the new yacht build so I'm definitely interested in continuing as a subscriber. Have a ripper you guys and stay safe!
I'm not leaving. I'm here for the long haul. I'm an Aussie who married a Gaucha and we built a house ourselves in POA 20 years ago and all you can do when the schedule slips behind is keep the faith and just keep forward motion. You will get there.
You guys are intelligent, but vulnerable...sometimes late, but honest...passionate, but encumbered...overwhelmed, but coping... Your lives, in many ways, mirror our own, but you embrace and pursue a life of multi-multi layered complexity and adventure with more energy than seems possible. No lines are straight and no destination is final. Carry on as you will. Your story is a great one!
I am sitting in my truck waiting for the harvesters to load me here in sunny Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺 got my iPad with me so I’m entertained waiting for my load but it gets a bit crowded at times when others want to watch too , we all enjoy your vlogs a couple of us have been watching you from the start . Remember family first then the boat best wishes from summer sunny Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺 ❤❤❤
It’s hand made aluminium boat, time, for us is not an issue, we follow you and appreciate the work of the team of Meta (will be good to get the worker in the light too)
Thanks for the update. The boat looks great. I am definitely looking forward to see you two finishing her out. ( Then sailing her anywhere you want to go) I'll be watching.
I've been following you from the start, I'm certainly not going to leave you... Family comes first, you can't do that again, but building a boat can... Partly because of your channel, I have now also purchased a sailboat, some work still needs to be done, but this summer I will finally get back on the water myself!! Take your time, it will only benefit the boat!! Hope you find the balance between family, boat, camper van and TH-cam channel. As a regular follower, I can only wish you the best and enjoy your videos to the fullest. Stay safe👍
Calma……es una obra de arte…….y como tal tendrá su tiempo para estar lista . El barco se ve maravilloso…….no abandonen el canal y envíen reportes de los avances, un abrazo desde el sur del mundo.
I won't be unsubscribed. I've watched these videos a very long time. I feel invested in the story of Duca's grand adventure. We enjoy the journey. I understand having a company building a boat not allowing for full content access. I do wish we still got some videos more often even if the boat isn't the focus
Been here from the beginning, the shipping container house, the restoration of Odd, then the rebuilding of and launch of Yaba. No worries. Just a new chapter. Just excited to start a new aluminum home…😊
Something I just learned about I thought I’d pass along is a keel cooled and a dry stack exhaust system. This replaces bringing seawater into the engine for cooling. Engine coolant is plumbed to an externally mounted exchanger attached under the hull. The dry exhaust stack you’re going have to look into for the benefits, but they sound substantial.
You guys are like family to me I couldn't do without seeing you but I do get a little worried about you all when you don't do videos. But I definitely understand that it's very difficult. I won't give up on you that's for sure
Don’t worry my friend we love you guys! And wow thats great progress on the boat and your warehouse space is looking awesome! You have your priorities strait with that baby and taking care of momma !!! Looking forward to see what and how you finish this out! I have faith you are going to do an amazing job on this ! How lucky is your son to be able to grow up living this amazing adventure with you guys!
Great stuff chill out!. Your family is the most important thing in life and your real legacy. The boat build is great and will get done i have no doubt. We all understand.
Great update - no worries, family first! Your TH-cam fans will be here when work pick's up. :)
🥰
'Took the words out of my - well - fingertips.
Duca, my brother, we will still be with you, come Hell or high water (just _waiting_ for that water;-)
