    Thanks a lot for sharing ☺️ I personally WONT buy Chanel ever again cuz I got a bag several years ago and had quality issue after dozen wears. Chanel denied the issue/ claimed not to be responsible for it and said it's normal "wear & tear". I'm now stuck with an unwearable bag that costed over $4000. I just won't support brands that don't stand behind their own products

    Yes thank you for saying this! We have the right to be picky and the SA should not make us feel awkward for returning an imperfect item considering the price we pay. I bought two items from bvlgari, one bracelet had a small scratch and one bag had a small black spot. I returned them both even though they were minor. For the prices we pay it should be perfect

    I wish I can go back to when I wasn't really into luxury. My life was so much more simple and carefree and less stressful too. Im trying to work towards a more minimalistic life style now and not to care about lux designer goods.

      I love collecting luxury bags and have fun just looking at all the gorgeous options. But it’s also fun to pull out my longchamp tote or Tory Burch tote. Being simple and basic can also be so liberating and fun. And it’s a nice reminder that I’m good with or without luxury items.

      True! Life is much simpler and less stressful. I’ve been addicted with luxury for 3 years now and Im not even using most of it cause they’re too expensive I’m afraid to scratch it. So I am also trying to stop and enjoy what I already have.

    Charis, a little tip or "rule" concerning jewellery/ gemstones: the clearer / see-through they are, the better they can handle water. With Diamonds or Sapphires, for example, you shouldn't have any problems when leaving them on in the shower. Gemstones like Lapis, Carnelian, or Turquoise, on the other hand, can't handle water very well. They could get damaged.

    Since I’m right handed, I wear my Love bracelet and VCA Onyx on my left hand, so it doesn’t scratch as much and snag on my clothing as much. I’ve been wearing my VCA in the shower since I got it last Christmas. So far, so good. I chose the Onyx since it’s the toughest stone out of that bunch and the mother of pearl shrinks in the shower overtime. Love your jewelry!

    💖 I agree certain jewelry with stones shouldn’t wear them in the shower, they could lose their shine in the long run..
    Jewelry with smooth surfaces tends to get scratches easily but not too worries, they still looked nice (some jewel shop actually polish them to brand new at a good price!) 😁
    It seems LV’s shoes gets damages easily 🤭
    The birkin with tiny cracks, seems similar to what I saw to somebody’s LV neverfull bag where the tiny crack happens along the whole stitching leather trim area (she used the bag like only 6x gently 😱)
    So in conclusion, really be picky on items. 😂

    • @LVlovercc

    Hi dear, for the Chanel Espadrille, I would snipped off the part that came out. Then use toothpick to take in some leather glue/ super glue to go underneath the loose ends , dig in the glue, then press them in. This is to seal the opening so that It will not fray again.

  • @clarag.8834
    @clarag.8834 3 ปีที่แล้ว +10

    Charis, I feel like I could fix that string on the Espadrille.😉 Good video and advice! Anyway I wanted to say that I have accumulated lots of LV and Chanel bags that I've collected since I went insane over these brands back in 2013. And would you believe I have never ever not even ONCE set foot in a LV or a Chanel boutique or even the LV and Chanel locations in Neiman Marcus. I purchased most of the LVs on the LV online site and the Chanel bags and the remaining LVs, I purchased by calling the stores and speaking with an SA by telephone. Part of the reason is I live 2 hours or more from these stores, but ALSO another reason is I really did not want some snooty SA possibly ruining the experience and possibly the brand for me and/or I did not want to face assault charges for slapping them if they were rude. Ok, just kidding, but maybe not. I have not purchased a new bag from LV or Chanel in over a year though. Again Great video and great advice! ♥♥

    • @thalia7104
      @thalia7104 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's very interesting, Clara, especially considering Chanel! LV I bought most pieces online as well, but with Chanel, I was in different Boutiques, and the customer service was really awful every. single. time. (I wanted to buy an SLG one time, the other time I was interested in a hat; some other times I was just looking. (I'm not interested in their bags, mainly because most of them are shoulder bags, which I don't like to wear, and now also, because they're too expensive for machine-made bags.))
      Did you just call any Chanel Boutique, or was it the one closest to your location?
      Best wishes!

    • @clarag.8834
      @clarag.8834 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@thalia7104 I contacted the same Chanel Boutique closest to me which was about 3 hours away in Houston and I tried to always ask for the same sales associate but if they were out or no longer there, I would just do business with whomever answered. Also I would call other Chanel Boutiques if the item I wanted was not at the store I would usually call. I will add that it is my understanding that things changed a few years ago and Chanel will only allow telephone orders if you are already in their “system” because I recall they would always look up my name before telling me that I could place a telephone order. But yes with the crazy prices now, I would really really really have to love a particular bag or even slg to even think about buying now.

    My Chanel sweater wore out within five times I wear. I contacted my sales but since this sweater is on final sale, she only offered me a fixing. After that I contacted her again and asked for a better solution. This time she talked with her boss and offered a “switch for a new one”. But actually I am trying to ask to return it, but failed. You are right girl and so on point! I am so picky myself 🤣 The company should be responsible to not sell faulty items especially with those premium price tags! They are not resonable price tags they’re carrying. Hence it’s all about satisfaction the luxury items give we’re paying for, right? Hi Charis, did your leather Chanel espadrilles stretch out a lot after some wear? I have heard that they can stretch a lot so I always hesitated to get them. Curious to know what your experience has been! And how do they compare with the canvas ones in terms of fit? Thank you!

    • @anhthynguyen9253

      Yes mine streches a bit, i think because it makes of leather. I don't know about leather.

    I think Chanel keep that zipper only for the history and not to change the original classic design , otherwise that zipper has really no use except ruining the lambskin flap 🤨🤨I have to store all my classic flaps with inner fabric to protect them . Still I get mark due to daily use 😒

    • @LVlovercc
      @LVlovercc  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes exactly and that’s one of the reasons I didn’t buy lambskin classic double flap before. Now as I have even just one oh gosh I don’t understand even more 😬😬😬 and if they want to keep that it will be better if they upgrade to thin metal or something better than pointy plastic for $8k bag🤭😉 This is actually my first time complaining about Chanel design flaw! Xoxo cc

    Charis your videos are getting longer and longer but I definitely enjoy it. Thanks for sharing all these tips!! I always be extra picky when come to luxury items because of the price we pay. Of course I will want it to be perfect before I use it. I once return a Givenchy Antigona bag although I love love love the colour so much. But the flaws are just too obvious and I know i cant have it because I will always look at it although other people might not notice it.

    Hi Charis, thank you for sharing. I bought the same necklace at VCA,guilloche, I was wondering why its not as shiny as yours, may be its old, or maybe thats the item they showed in every customer they have that time. but because i was so excited to have it ,I kept it. 😩😩😩

    Charis , thank you that you started to talk about this. My Chanel fashion advisers pushed me to buy. If I’m buying they are nice If I’m not they don’t sell me anything. I cannot even explain how bad is this.

    You can just cut that thing off your Chanel shoe. It won't hurt the shoe at all. If you're afraid of more coming out, dab some clear glue on after you cut it off.
