    I love watching Tony Drago play. I find it difficult to watch some of these players make a movie production out of each rack.

    It feels like Mike Siegel took the mic for himself and Ralph Eckert is politely sitting behind him and commenting from afar.

    Having Mike doing commentary on these matches is really a dream. Ralph is doing an excellent job as always so does Earl but Mike is really special.

      I have to disagree, Mike calls the game the way he thinks I should be played. He makes e cases when he’s wrong. Earl is very similar doing commentary, Danny Delaberto is another who is not in touch with the game being played. I like Jim Wych, Jeremy Jones, Karl Boyes, Alex Lely and Kim Davenport 👍

    Apparently noone's ever told the cameraman that we may be interested in what's happening on the table. Does he know the point of this game at all?!? Sometimes one can't even see that a ball is pocketed...

      Kaci has changed, all that tape is 2-3 years old at this point, he's a fricking kid man, at least he was.

    Bit of a critique: Great game, great commentary, not so great camera work.
    I don't want a close-up of the opponent and miss the break, done off camera. I don't like the close-up where the ball is pocketed off camera. Lot of that in this match...

    • @chello189
      @chello189 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You do realize this is the original recording from some years ago and this channel is just bringing in the pros to comment, which is awesome!
      If you complain about the camera work, well that's how it was done at that time. And if you ask me, it's definitely better than the way other tournaments were being recorded, it had many cameras to show you all the angles.

    They mention the fact that Niels holds the cue under his left eye which is kind of unusual for a right hander. The reason for this is Niels is blind in his right eye since birth.

    Mike, I first saw you and Efren at the Billiard Den in Westville NJ back around 85'. Was that the first time you played him? Ed Sheehan owned the place.

    I don't know who the very best pool commentator is, but Siegel has to be the absolute worst. He barely lets Ralph speak at all except to answer his interminable querry of -- "Did you like that shot? I didn't like that shot."

  • @robdetuinman2

    You could do a better job in writing Niels Feijen's name. You wrote it wrong twice: one in the description: #nielfiejen and even in the scoreboard it says fiejen

    Listening to Mike Seigel reminds me of him constantly talking while his opponent was shooting. Perhaps the worst sportsmanship in all of sports.
