This song is directly inspired by and it’s about the strength, vulnerability and resilience of the LGBT+ community. My community. It’s about overcoming the bigotry and hate directed at us and finding ourselves and finding Love against the odds. But the song could also be a refugee’s story, or any kind of survivor’s story. There is always light beyond the clouds! Always! Never give up!” - JD
