Idk why but markyong’s rap part here is probably my fav rap among Kpop songs so far, along with monster by exo, it’s like so smooth and fit in the music so well
Same ! I always think exo and nct’s rap verse sound so smooth and not forced.
This is one of the best songs in kpop history for me . The subtle mark rap intro. Exo type start of the chorus and nct type “Kaewabwa” chanting. Incredible rapping by taeyong and probably the best killing part in kpop history - “vroom vroom” (this might edge “machingeocheorom” of GD). One of the best bridges I’ve heard, the old school kpop shinee type chorus. The hignote harmony with Taemin and Baekhyun is incredible. The sheer power of Baekhyuns highnote also. All the ingredients for the best kpop song of all time in my opinion and this is evidence.
If anyone has some song/group recommendations that give similar vibes to this, please let me know! I also thought of Monster by EXO, and EXO in general, and their older music gives off these darker vibes. I need to hear more stuff like this ASAP!
