- The idea for Loose Ends came about when the founders, Jennifer Simonic and Masey Kaplan, both avid knitters, realized they had a shared experience: Friends would often ask them to finish blankets, sweaters, or other projects left undone by deceased loved ones. They always do so enthusiastically, understanding what it feels like to wear something a loved one has made.
Loose Ends was established in May 2023 as a 501(c)3 nonprofit.

Very much enjoyed listening to this interview about an amazing organization. I hope they get the resources they need.
Hi Ladies I know it will be a great show Thanks 💕💕💕
So proud of this organization. Our guild is promoting their materials to our membership and at our Knit in Public events.
What a great group and interview.. thank you.
Thanks, Irina, for this interview. Signing up is on my to-do list.
What a fabulous organization and Jennifer is such a delight and it's so great that they are known in so many countries
Thank you Pat!
What a wonderful cause and interview. Thanks for highlighting this nonprofit, Irina.
Thank you Nancy!
What a great idea. I love the great work this organzatioin does and all the community helping. It is especially great to know it is an International endeavor. What I mainly gain from this interview is a motivation to finish long lingering projects, like this black crochet shawl, in many pieces, that needs sewing and end weaving. I should do that this summer on a sunny day ...
I was thinking that too, what do I need to finish ASAP
Hello from Swansea, Illinois. WOW! What a great organization! Great interview again.
such a great conept
This organization popped up on my IF a while ago and I tear up every time I read their posts. What a wonderful organization. Thx for this interview.
I’ve heard so much about them from my viewers, I simply had to reach out
Glad you did. See, THIS is why your channel is so unique, you highlight all these talented people. No one else does this but you!
One of the good thing about this is the person finishing doesn't have the person connection. It took me a year before I could pick up a cross stitch my mil was working on when she died. I'm still finishing projects of my mum's. She died 3 years ago.
