Sounds like a nursing home in a dementia unit where they can wonder out. She has enough money to have a home health care person if she needs assistance. She doesn’t need to be in a facility. And she shouldn’t be denied visitors. My sister in laws mom has dementia but she can be signed out of the facility she’s in by family or friends. The guardian is purposely keeping her isolated.

This is very typical behavior of a legal guardian. They sell the assets, put the person in a nursing home or assisted living, and collect their paycheck. They do what's easiest and most beneficial for them, not the client. They don't want to be bothered with managing assets or the client. It's disgusting.

So even with dementia (if that’s her true diagnosis), should her good days be spent sequestered? I really do believe that her money is the motivation for all of these strange events. She allegedly can’t even see her regular doctors. If that’s true, that’s a red flag. She’s getting pills for her thyroid issues but she doesn’t know what they are. (Remember part of the Brittney issue was meds that were not necessary.) She can’t have a regular phone.

We are in an era where institutionalizing is needed for very high risk, lethal cases. She should be with her family. Sabrina you’re not doing your job and need to consult with real experts who you are not paying to get the outcome you want. I have seen mentally ill and physically disabled individuals residing home with family with assistance. It’s durable, stop the madness.

I worked in Nursing Homes and we do not treat elderly visitors like this. Now for the Memory Section visitors would check ck in if they didn't have a code so we could check them in, but no patients were not allowed because when they did get confused they would wonder. Memory patients at the early stage, can be very sound minds but do have moments of not being confused and forgetting stuff. The new medications, it does help a lot with patients not having as much memory lost. It all depends on what stage they are in a diagnosis on how many moments they have. Like my friend’s husband and her sister-in-law who both have Dementia (not old). Her husband mostly gets forgetful about where he places stuff buys stuff or pays bills. He is now on medication and he doesn't forget so often, but he is of sound mind she keeps stating. Buy he is not in charge of finances and stuff like that because of forgetting and purchasing stuff and then not remembering. Now his sister is a lot worse because she didn't get help soon enough for the meds to slow down the progress. She lives in assisted living and has support staff there. She has moments of sound mind mostly talking about the past. And she will convince people she is good by the same statements. But she forgets all the time stuff that happened recently for short-term memory, mostly at night. There is a thing called Sundowners, so when the sun goes down their memory declines, they become combative and think they are in a whole different place (their mind actually sees it). Full moon's personalities can completely change for residents in memory facilities. Nice ones come mean and mean ones come nice. The energy is chaotic.
I am not saying anything about her situation just saying the visitor thing is weird. I don't know how many times the other person here has visited her at different time periods and called her through the day and different days to really say how her mind is.

A person with severe dementia would have difficulty recalling memories. She appears to be able to recall past events, present issues and concerns, and appears clear headed. She appears to feel trapped and in distress. Whatever the issue, her current state of distress will only make her more stressed and cause her current mental and neurological state worse. Research shows that family is the best therapy for people with dementia that can still function well. I'm just saying ...this coming from a psychologist. If her family is willing and capable to care for her then maybe the courts will dissolve this legal situation and come up with a different solution. But most important for all to be aware of, we don't know everything about this situation.

I agree her money is the motivation and her fame and her breakdown being so public has been weaponized to her disadvantage like Brittney. When the person gets better, recovers, etc, the court is reluctant to ease the conservativeship. That's the problem. The court should use these interviews as evidence that she should or could ease back to her normal life with considerations and guidance of medical professionals and family involvement.

🇬🇧 I suspect that Wendy knew what she was doing from the beginning. A lot of this seems calculated, and the whole point of this calculated situation is to ensure she doesn’t have to give her ex-husband more money than he deserves. So far, it seems to be working. However, along the way, she has fallen ill and made some questionable choices, which have now led to her being in a conservatorship.
What I suspect Wendy might want to do with Don Lemon is to broker a weekly chat. The idea would be for her to go live online, where they can discuss the week’s hot topics. This would allow her to remain part of the conversation, staying relevant in the media without necessarily focusing on herself. Instead, she could discuss people she has met, things she knows, and what she has observed over the years-essentially “shooting the breeze.”
If Don could work out this kind of arrangement with her, and if Wendy can manage it, this might help her bounce back in some way. I believe she may want to approach Don privately to explore this idea. Perhaps I’m right, or perhaps I’m wrong, but I suspect that’s her intention.
There is no better person to help her return to the airwaves than Don Lemon. It might be worth having a conversation with her to see if she’s truly ready. If Don has a specific time slot, he could consider dedicating 15 minutes for Wendy. If she seems unable to continue or isn’t up to the task, it would be best not to proceed.
Nonetheless, I think this is a conversation worth having. Good luck!

How is it even possible for people to call themselves guardian, when she's practially kidnapped?! Who hired this demon?! For a normal citizen nobody cares if you're an addict, get dementia & maybe spend all your money, but since she's a millionaire a stranger feels "responsible"?! Also, if they wanted to prevent Wendy spending her money ( which is HER business!! ) WHERE TH IS HER MONEY??! This woman has to get arrested - seriously!! How is that legal?! Moreover, if people say she sounds a little off, how is this surprising? Nobody knows what kinda meds they're giving her!! I like to know: How would any person react being medicated & trapped in a facility and no one can get to you?! No phone and nothing??! SHE IS IMPRISONED!! This is WRONG!! Any person would lose their mind being held hostage!! Please Please someone get her out of there!! I'm fearful hearing in a month, she'd be found diseased in another sudden "unaliving" situation. Please please, we need to do something!! 🙏

Mims is there any way we can donate to get a private investigator on this “KAREN”? This reminds me of a Lifetime movie where the caretaker had a whole basement full of rich elderly women changed up in the basement and was living off of their money.

Don did well interviewing Wendy. I disagree that he was too hard on her. It actually gave more insight of her current condition.

Wendy is Okay. When you isolated from People you lose a little of your original skills. She most Definitely can do a Podcast and I guarantee that Wendy's can come back to Life. She needs her Family and She can afford to have around the clock Nursing Care at Her House of Choice. Free Her, The system is set up to Take the rights of People thru the Court System most of her Money goes to those People and they don't want to lose that income. Wendy will get punished by taking away Her privileges. Praying For you Wendy. She need Everybody To Rally around Her. She's the Right Person to bring Attention to This Atrocities.

I would like to see Wendy do a weekly podcast that is edited to put her in the best light possible, and help preserve her legacy. She has nothing to look forward to on a daily basis. She might be able to recoup some of her stolen money so that she has funds to help with her care when she can no longer function. Even if no one will compensate, let her do it so that she has something to look forward to every week. It can be just one weekly 30-60 minute podcast so she has an entire week to complete 30-60 minutes of work. She still has great one liners. They have her in a room waiting to die. Get her mind active to help slow the progression of her disease. I’m sure someone will pay for a well edited podcast. The trick is eliminating the guardian’s access to funds that should be for Wendy’s benefit😢.

The repetitive, you know what I’m saying and excuse me…
I think she is not quite there, maybe 80%, but certainly not indicating needing to be on lockdown. This is wild that they can get away with this!

MIMS this is serious. There is wickedness, spiritual wickedness in high places. We need to all be praying bc the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God, for the pulling down of strongholds. Wendy needs us intercessors to get to it like yesterday.🙏🏾

At the very least…. Let her live her life with her family. WHO’S IN CHARGE!? Who’s INITIALED to make this decision, besides her?? How did she get in this situation?? Are we saying they pick and choose who can’t be in control of their lives?? Who is THEY?? So confused…. I know many people in society running rampant and NOBODY is trying to control their livelihood!!
