This is the first roblox game I've ever played that had implied suicide. You can tell how scared he was. He was shaking and breathing heavily and he knew he couldn't do anything to fight against that creature coming after him *Still not sure what the creature is* The mayor, military and police force couldn't find or fight against this creature so Jim knew he couldn't either so his last option was a horrific one. It's intresting to me and I hope we find out what the creature that caused this looks like soon. And also this game adverted my expectations in a good way. It suprised me. I thought for a second "oh we're gonna find them in the closet one day" and then during the last night I thought it'd be a boss battle of some kind or a chase but no it was just fear and the character knowing he can't do anything now to save himself.

Another theory is that Jim is actually the creature / monster and that he's trying to hide from the authorities. (Basically why he locks himself up in the house)
The guy he's talking to is actually trying to warn him that authorities are on his trail (which explains the helicopter flying over his house)
In the last scene, the authorities are about to bust him down, hence why he shoots himself before they can get their hands on him)
So basically, Jim thinks he's innocent but he's actually just going insane and he doesn't know what to do.

@Pyxalated I think that theory isn't right. Because when he says "There is someone inside my house." in day 4 night, when you check all of the closets inside of your house, then the door opens itself and it closes. so Jim committed suicide due to the panic.

it shows that hes just being extremely delusional to the point that he either opened the door but forgot that he did or he's hallucinating the door being open
either way it shows his decline in mental stability and why he committed suicide at the peak of his madness.
so hes basically the one committing the crimes but he's thinks that he's going to get caught so much that he becomes delusional and he begins thinking that someone is inside of his home and he's going to be caught
