I ranked every single perk in Bannerlord in a tier list. Check it out here if you're interested: th-cam.com/video/DjvjbLhE5hs/w-d-xo.html Thanks for watching! :)
The most important thing about RBM which i think confuses people is that it actually matters what PART of the weapon you hit people with, the handle of an axe does literally nothing but the head does alot, the sweet spot on maces can one tap heavily armored enemies on the head but you'll be there for years smacking a knight with a sword handle. The posture system prevents them from forever blocking like that, you can set yours to be x2 the normal amount for player character, also weapon damage type actually matters in RBM you swinging a sword at a heavy armored enemy will tickle them, but thrusting with the same sword will do better damage, also blunt maces for plated enemies, cut for peasents and lightly armored enemies and so on. Posture also allows you to knock enemies down dismount enemies, rbm works best as a foundation for other combat mods and not really as a stand alone, check out i think its called xarbezs legacy pack or something.
this series is going to be exciting! I have played a bit of this mod and found a couple of tricks to get trade and charm skill up. The trade method takes a bit of money, but once you can buy a workshop, if you set the warehouse to store 25% of the goods producced your trade skill passively increases over time. you can kill 2 birds with one stone with this if you get a bakery or a brewery because its essentially free food/beer for your party as well. Not sure if it is a bit cheesy how quickly you can raise your charm, but if you give a companion to teach you another language, once you are fluent in it you can greet notables in towns and Lords in their own language and each time it gives you a decent charm increase.
the way damage in RBM is calculated takes in account the character skill, area hit, armor and damage type. depending on the weapon you use you want to target different part. Piercing you aim under the shoulders, slashing you aim for the neck and blunt you aim for the head. character skill also affects the damage types differently. slashing starts weak but becomes really strong with skill. piercing does some damage at the start and increases with skill and bludgeoning stays about the same. early game blunt weapons are great. mid game you want the other types and late game you want blunt to deal with heavy armour.
I'm late but just tagging onto this great info, there's a neat "absorbed damage" stat that pops up when you make the hit, For example it showed 29 pierced damage for a headshot but 166 absorbed
As far as I can tell, to find a bookseller, you enter a town, or castle, and go into your character screen. Go to personal, and there's a thing there for buying books. I've never found a book any other way, and books also seem pretty uncommon.
@@Shinigami-cl7qi They are pretty rare. In 3 playthroughs, I think I have found 3. Nine in this current playthrough. The ones I found in the others, only one was able to be used, as the others were in languages I didn't have.
By the way, at least from what I read about caravans in Banner Kings, you don't get gold out of them automatically. They need to either stop in one of your settlements or you need to visit the same settlement where they are to get the money.
I just tried the mod with couple other mods that shouldn't conflict and had no problems just the occasional freeze and crash every couple hours but that's typical for all mods in Bannerlord.Just save more often and its all good. The mod is amazing, this is what vanilla Bannerlord should've been. The posture system from RBM is what makes it immersive and cool, sure it's annoying at the start but you need to train at the arena to get stronger at the start. When you turn it off enemies will stop falling on the ground both from the horse and on foot, also they won't be dropping their weapons without posture, also the A.I will stop playing passive and just rush in like in vanilla.I'm looking forward next parts.
I don’t know if you have a mod that changes trade but as far as I know you get increases in trade when you buy low and sell high. However if you sell too much at a comparative loss the trade doesn’t increase as much. Say you bought something for 400 each and can sell for 1000. That’s a 600 profit. As far as I noticed if you lose out on the sale as the sell price decreases as you provide the local market with more of their demand you lose out on skill progress and money of course. I could be wrong this isn’t off of any extensive testing
I love this series, but how did you get the orbis terrae Armarium mod since its not online anymore? I would like to play cultures expanded myself, could anyone please help me??

I recommend you to join the Banner Kings dischord channel (if your not) They can answer any questions you have about the mod. :)
Is it me or you schedule your videos sooner these last days?
Keep up the good work :)
Oofty another one-well done on the output fella can barely keep up 😂

Oh yes loving this one. I wish for a four hour episode😂 I’m so greedy that way😊❤

Awesome. Love this guy
Yes! Another part ❤
If you use the Armor rebalance, than it is fitting. They upped all Armor Values insanely und lowered all weapon damages.
15:33 Must’ve been a glancing blow. IRL it would probably concuss them
Quality oil, and wine are both great if you can find them for 200, or so, if not less.

Very comfy.
Quite diferent from the old Khergit series ey? :D
Thrust attacks do massive damage in RBM
The education tab may allow you to find nearby book merchants. 🤷♂️
Loving this playthough btw
Thank you! I'll check it out :)
i wonder if blunt weapons might be strong in this mod since im guessing that armour has a high anti slash value
I love this series, but how did you get the orbis terrae Armarium mod since its not online anymore? I would like to play cultures expanded myself, could anyone please help me??
From the Banner Kings Discord FAQ. They have a link there :)
