Technically after affixing DSC, your file gets locked. So, mail merge will work, but you will have to keep on making copies of file & manually remove & re-apply DSC for each file

I used latest version of Adobe Reader available on website (it updates automatically). But I guess this feature was supported a decade ago by Adobe
