Even though the voices of both "Doc Adamses" (Howard McNear and Milburn Stone) are completely different, McNear and Stone give us the "same" Doc Adams. Though in the earlier days in the radio series, Doc had some creepy and very annoying personality traits (specifically, taking a ghoulish delight in landing autopsy work which paid better than what he normally made in his medical practice); but in time, McNear's Doc evolved into being a more solid and likeable character.
Wouldn't Matt want to check the partner's gun first thing? He could have had Chester get his gun while he guarded him? Then, Doc would still get the bullet
Very nice episode ☺️!!!
All I can picture is Floyd the Barber from Andy Griffith, when I hear Doc speak. Great actor.

Doc swore do no harm.
So who was the one who shot the stranger?
His mining business partner was the culprit.
Kmt this is no fun why can't we watch the dam video instead of listening and trying to imagine it please
🤣🤣🤣
It’s audio only. This is a radio broadcast before TV
For the same reason no one could 65 or 70 years ago.
The script was adapted for television on June 29, 1956.
