Thanks for showing how you lock up your bike before you go shopping. I always bring a 2nd person to watch my bike as I'm still a little afraid of someone taking it while I'm shopping. I got 2 locks for the purpose of locking up and going shopping but I just haven't ever used them... so far.
If you mean the clear plastic over the screen and buttons, that's because I use this ebike for work when it might rain. I have 2 ebikes. The other one I don't want to get wet and it's not suited for groceries. I should have taken it off for this video.
I got mine stolen so please don't risk it. I had mine locked up with a heavy duty chain and lock and I went grocery shopping in the late evening. I locked my bike and went into the store and grocery shopped. I came back out to the bike rack and the chain was on the ground cut in peaces laying on the cement and my bike was gone. I had insurance and I ordered another bike with the money that will be delivered Tuesday. Trust me if you have three locks and a alarm it wouldn't be to much. Thank you for your video I enjoyed it.

Taking the battery with you also deters someone from trying to steel it.
