So I NEVER comment on TH-cam videos, but I just had to say the art in this is fucking incredible. I was like, "Why is Moxie's next nuzlocke video taking so long?" and then I got to the end and was like, "Oh."

Moxie, I'ma say this right now. I may noy be a big CC, but I successfully beat this boss WITHOUT dying. Came pretty dang close though. Scared me cuz i thought this boss wasnt gonna be hard. I was nearly wooped for that. 😅
So far, though, I havent died ONCE in this game, but it is freaking hard.

Not gonna lie, the art at the end got me a little teary-eyed.

*Hisuian Typhlosion Pokedex Entry:* Said to purify lost, forsaken souls with its flames and guide them to the afterlife. I believe its form has been influenced by the energy of the sacred mountain towering at Hisui’s center.
This Typhlosion, rather than being based on a badger, is based on Psychopomps, who are spirits, angels, or deities in many religions whose responsibility is to escort newly deceased souls from Earth to the afterlife. Their role is not to judge the deceased, but simply to guide them. This type of being has actually been depicted in Black Panther-the goddess Bast guided Bashenga to the Heart-Shaped Herb which bestowed him and his descendants with the power of the panther. The ghost flames on its neck are reminiscent of a necklace of magatama beads, which are associated with various spiritual beliefs.. Like Spiritomb, the specific amount of its ghost flames (108) may be based on the purified 108 Stars of Destiny of the Classic Chinese Novel, Water Margin.
I adore my firey ghostly boy.
So, it is the most fitting starter for a Nuzlocke, since it will guide its fallen companion to the afterlife

That Hisuian Lilligant is basically a princess who says screw waiting for my prince I'll rescue myself, and then proceeds to cut her hair, rip her dress, and start fighting. Love that version. ^^
Having a Pokemon sacrifice itself for you when your trainer gets knocked out is a good idea, considering some of these fights are brutal ^-^;;

Omg that ending with static sacrificing himself made me cry a little. Raichu is my first favorite pokemon 20 years ago.
The tail design of Raichu is what makes me like him more than Pikachu.
And also the fact of being underrated.
As someone who watched the streams and knew what was going to happen, seeing it back as a video was still as heartbreaking.

The trick to winning a Legends nuzlocke: farm grit pebbles, gravel, rocks, etc. and boost your stats. This is required to even have a chance.

Arcanine was hard but not the hardest one that is yet to come much later… and holy crap, yeah Arcanines sequence changing and before battle were so amazingly done on this game. Truly epic.

I don't know how much of the nuzlocke you've completed yet, but in terms of increasing the player character's survivability, there is something you can do. Buying Survival Charms from the old lady at the Arceus shrine near the training grounds. They increase the amount of hits you can take before blacking out. I've been using them in my own nuzlocke playthrough of the game, and I have yet to have my player character die even a single time.
Perfectly timed SSJ3 music, amazing art at the end, and I'm really happy you made a way to continue the nuzlocke and have fun with the game.
Also, now I know how the Luxio died in the 2 minutes I looked away from the stream
I only died while playing 8 times before beating the main game. I died to falling three times. I died to poison once and then to the final main game boss and.the last 3 nobles once.
