Amazing stuff! My plants have never looked better. Reasonably priced for both product, and shipping. Support small businesses- this guys gardening knowledge, and skills are phenomenal! He's going to be on TV one day with his own gardening show, ( not just TH-cam) I can just feel it! Lol.
I totally agree! Luke not only explains the what and the how, but he also ties it all together by explaining the *why*. I'm doing a shootout this year... Dr. Jimz Tomato Secret vs. Trifecta Plus. So far, Trifecta Plus is the clear winner. The only tomato plants that have fruit so far, are the ones fed with Trifecta Plus! (same varieties, same soil, same germination date, same planting date)
Luke is not paying me to say this but hands down this is the best fertilizer I have ever used in my gardening experience (11 years home gardening). I don't even bother buying any other fertilizer during clearance sales in the late fall anymore because THIS thing makes my plants produce fruit consistently. Crunchy Juicy Fruit I am amazed! My fruiting plants and trees that used to do so so and just okay are strong green beautiful productive and resilient thanks to God and Trifecta fertilizer. Thanks for making such an awesome product Mi Gardner!
I love trifecta! I use it on every plant I have from tomatoes to Roses, Hanging baskets, shrubs . This is the best product I have every used. It gives me a sense of comfort using on my vegetables plants, it’s a much healthier product, than the blue green stuff I have used in the past. All my plants look much healthier, bigger. Trifecta has a lasting impact over a year.
The only thing that I hate about this fertilizer is that it sells out quickly. Other than that, this is my favorite fertilizer hands down, and it surprisingly kept my plants healthy and productive all season for me! It impressed me from the very first application! My plants got greener and stronger so fast that I could hardly believe it. I was happily surprised so much so that I ended up buying several bags more to get through all of my plants. I used it both in containers and in ground. Really beautiful product Luke!
Brought a couple of bags last winter. I have had mostly good results. The lettuce, turnips, radishes and onions are having an epic year. The tomatoes are are doing very well. The only laggards so far have been peppers. I will be a repeat buyer and can't wait to use it on garlic this fall.
I used trifecta to apply before we had 110 degree weather in No. California. Everything made it beautifully and I didn’t use shade cloth. I have some now though. Looking forward to a beautiful harvest! Thank you MI - I listened to one of your videos and it gave me the idea to supplement my plants before heat hit. I just went in the shed and grabbed what I found. It was Trifecta! Win/win!
I love your channel because I know that everything you talk about is good for me, because I’m in Michigan as well. I don’t think we are too far. I’m going to get sone of this today. Someone else mentioned organic gardening for health reasons and having a clean and healthy diet. I’m starting to make sections of my backyard into an orchard and an organic vegetable garden. There is something wonderful about eating an apple off the tree you grew!
I love trifecta plus! It’s the best! Luke said it’s easy to use & he is right! My plants are big & beautiful! I’m hoping to get one pound tomatoes with trifecta plus! 😀😃
I ordered som earlier in the year but due to medical issues I wasn’t able to plant anything. I just saw your video about what you can plant in August so now I am excited to use the Trifecta and see the results! 😁
@@Tinyteacher1111 - thanks for asking, with the help of doctors and eating healthy, being active, doing Physical therapy, etc. I am feeling a lot better but so busy I focus on my annuals and not gardening as much veggies as I would like to. I was able to plant lettuce, carrots and green onions last year using trifecta in pots and they did amazing! However the aphids were so bad that I lost most of the crops and didn’t want to use any inorganic sprays or anything to kill them…maybe next year.
@@ericaracz Ugh! I bought a bunch of seeds and made compost for my raised bed garden, but I haven’t been able to turn over the dirt to plant anything. It’s so hard being alone and sick and not being able to do the things you love! I’ve spent so much time getting overgrown ivy out of my beds and around my bushes. I hurt my back, as usual, and spend more time recovering as I did in the gardening and weeding. I need a man to help me and I can’t have anyone here because my ex and son are living here, because both have health issues!
I love this. I put it in my strawberry beds and they have never looked better. This year I added Trifecta+ to al my vegetable beds and I have not doubt that they will be healthy and allow for less insects to damage my tomatoes. I recommend this without reservations.
I ordered 2 3lb bags three days ago and can hardly wait to get it. Im so impressed with Trifecta + and how it works with more plants per pot, will not burn which other fertilizers will if not careful in applying.
I started a small garden this year and it is not growing as it should. Received my order of Trifecta+ yesterday. Thanks for this video explanation! Can't wait to use it.
Bought it last year, I had some of the biggest tomato plants I have ever had! Super great, even my dogs love it! they sniff the bags every time they walk by them in the garage. Anything that my dogs love, has to be good for the plants.
I bought a bag about a month back and its really working good on my plant. I wish I could show you a picture. I was kinda nervous about it so only transplanted one of pepper plant using the trifecta and it looks like a beast compared to the other one. Flower are poping out everywhere and it has about 6 peppers. The crazy thing is my non trifecta plant is in a 3 gallons grow bag and my trifecta plant is in a 6inch planter and my trifecta plant is much taller and wider than my non trifecta pepper plant. I seriously wish I could show you these plants
1st time gardener this year. I am planning to utilize the square foot gardening technique next spring and make the Mel's mix. I just picked up a bag of Trifecta+ and dan't wait to incorporate it into my Mel's mix!
I can vouche for this this amazing product. My plants are so healthy and huge. I don't even have my peppers in the ground yet, but I already have a pepper big enough to eat. Thanks Luke for sharing your knowledge in a product at a very affordable price.

Ruok Kaygood I was telling my husband that I will never use anything else and he immediately started talking about how people say they won’t use anything else 😂
I'm going to Try this out next year! We move every couple years so I don't get much of a chance to build healthy soil. I've been looking for a good organic fertilizer like this. I love the results I see on your channel. Looks like it'll be worth it
I just bought my first 3lb bag but, I am completely confused. I understand the per plant method but, what I don't understand is; what if all those plants are in one raised bed? Can I top dress the entire bed again and how much as well as, can I put this on my plants even though I just used fertilizer a few days ago?
I ordered some because I believe in supporting small businesses and I want to see how it works. The price is reasonable to me. I'll keep you posted on how it works.
I can assure anyone that is curious about Luke's Trifecta + I have used it for 2 years now. It's a night and day difference between the plants that had Trifecta to those that did not.
If I use trifecta on my tomato plants at the time of planting in pots, will I need any other elements like Epsom salt, baking powder, or diatomaceous earth throughout the plant life? Does trifecta plus do the job of not just fertilizing but insect control and root rot as well?
Their seeds have a great germination rate too! I wish I could afford to buy a packet or two of each. referred my cousin to them I will buying a few each month till I get one of each, o be ready, Luke and Sydni! Definitely the best price out there too.
I lived in Marysville in the early 1980s. I lived in the subdivision next to the woodland school on range road. Small world now that I live in North Carolina 1000 miles away. It's subtropical here and cold as cold right now there. November 13th 2019. I heard you got like 12 inches or something close. I don't miss that but do miss the people for sure.
I had no idea trifecta was your product until I started searching for it to see if I could go out to the store and buy it and realized that it was entirely your creation! So I just went online and ordered a few bags of trifecta+, a couple stickers, a UV resistant marker that you mentioned in one of your videos I watched yesterday, and a bag of worm castings! And I already ordered seeds yesterday in a separate order. Should have waited but I was so eager to get the seeds I need! I’m super happy to support a small business and to learn from you and use your products! I can only hope my garden will be as successful as yours!
I bought some of this and tried -- just for the heck of it -- putting a smidge on some plants that I've been attempting to overwinter (working it into the rhizosphere as he demonstrated). Not expecting a lot out of these plants, just wanting to keep them alive to get the jump on next season (they're all huddled near a puny grow-light). Immediately (I am talking days), my pruned back pepper started growing bunches of flower buds from multiple locations. My tomato sprouted new baby leaves (suckers? can't tell), and my ground cherry got new flowers as well. So this stuff works. Totally doesn't smell "earthy" though -- it smells like poultry manure, which is possibly the worst smell imaginable. But hey, whatever works...
Funny! I'm new to alternative gardening and am just trying to figure out the fertilization process. This Spring, after researching fertilizers I came to the same conclusion as what you did! I bought slow release and fast release fertilizers and mixed them together! It was all guess work though so I'm excited to try this as it seems like you've put more thought into yours! Thanks! I love your channel!
Dang Luke!! I used Trifecta + for the first time this year and have huge harvests with my green beans, picking cucumbers, broccoli, chiles and peppers! My Roma tomatoes are four times bigger than they usually get and they have so many tomatoes on them, they can't hold themselves up! I have stakes poking out everywhere and can barely see under them! You say we shouldn't prune determinant tomatoes, so what should I do now? LOL!
So Trifecta plus only needs to be applied once until harvest? ie: 3 tbsp for one pepper plant throughout its harvest? I am a beginner gardener and i just bought this fertilizer
I am wondering about this product. Your video shows it as a 10-13-12 fertilizer but your website only sells 5-10-4. Why the difference and how do we get the 10-13-12?
It gets explained in an updated video. But it’s the same formula, but due to labeling laws they had to subtract the amount from the slow release nutrients, and only state what is available at time of application
i am curious to get trifecta but im unsure of how much i should get for my garden space. i have 1 garden that is 33ft by 42ft and i plan to expand to a 2nd garden the same size. how much of trifect should i have to cover these 2 gardens?
I need this stuff. Always start strong and end up with hardly any fruit or veggies in the end. Also didn't know it was your product. Actually want to buy more now that I know it supports a small business.
This looks great to use. I just get coco loco potting soil, it has a ton of natural bacillis and micra-nutrients for my plants. I put that in my plants with added compost of my own on top of my planters and garden beds. Thanks for sharing this info! I'm going to be trying this out soon! I always like bigger and better. Lol
Hi Luke. Have puchased Trifecta...LOVE it, need more. Enjoy ur videos. Show more with ur sweet little girl, she's getting so big. In ur video is that a portable green house on ur lawn? Where did u get & how do u use it? Thx again for sharing ur kn owledge:)
Hi Luke, I am new to your channel but I find myself addicted to it. You really give great content and easily understandable. I have recently had to change my diet to be completely organic for health reasons and my husband and I have started to grow our own produce. I wanted to know if there is anything in your Trifecta+ that would be considered "not organic"?
Definitely going to get some of this- I do container gardening and do all season gardening so have been getting some deficiencies lately and plants not thriving due to depleted soil.
7 year later comment. Sorry. Can you help explain the change in N-P-K to the current 5-10-4? The 5-10-4 works fine but I like that the original version was even more balanced. Thanks and please advise.
PLEASE HELP! I just started my pepper seeds and mixed trifecta in the soil. However after two days with the dome on they are going moldy! What did i do wrong? Peppers need to be warm so?
When planting my tomatoes, eggplant and bell peppers, I add my planting cocktail consisting of 2 TBS each of 5-5-5 fertilizer, egg shells, Epsom salts, worm castings and mineral dust. Question, will Trifecta+ replace all or part of my "Planting cocktail"? FYI, I just purchased a bag of Trifecta+ a few weeks ago.
I'll be trying this for several plants I have, I'll be using it with strawberries, mangos, Korean melon, dragonfruit, pineapple, citrus, and figs. I'll let you guys know how it goes. It smells kind of funny but in a good way and that usually means it has good active ingredients.
He has another video explaining why the change. Apparently it has to do with meeting Michigan's packaging requirements or so. But Like says all the necessary macra and micro nutrients are there. Happy gardening.☺️
Ordered another bag (3lb this time) since i already used up the 2lb bag! :D And some of the water retention spikes as well, since we're going on vacation this Summer, I'll see how they work. PS You have great prices for everything on your store! A+

@@joemug4079 So what you're saying is that he didn't pay a bunch of money for someone else to tell him what books to read? Whatever dude. I wonder what "real scientists" did before institutions? I guess there weren't any before what? 1500?
Okay. So why is the bag in this video showing an NPK of 10-13-12, and that bag isn’t available on his website? The only type available on his website is NPK 5-10-4.
It is 6/24/19. I don't see the 10/13/12 Trifecta Plus as shown in the video available at your site. Only 5/10/4. There is no mention of the 10/13/12 at all. Can someone explain?
i just ordered trifecta+ from you and on the bag it has 5-10-4 the bag in your video looks like it has 10-13-12 on it? So why is mine different? I have tomatoes, in containers, that have yellow marbling on the leaves and wanted to add the trifecta. from everything i have watched it is a nitrogen problem not calcium problem. So should I use the trifecta for this?
I'm interested in why the NPK numbers have changed .. in the video the gold-trimmed bag reads "10-13-12" , whereas the white bag for sale in the store reads "5-10-4" -- which is quite a different NPK mixture for a product carrying the exact same name - one of them should be called "Trifecta Alpha" or "Trifecta Double Plus" or somehow be otherwised differenced .. the "10-13-12" "Gold Formula" is far too much Nitrogen for Seed Potatoes .. it should be closer to "6-13-12" or even "4-13-12" .. and the "5-10-4" "White Formula" is not enough potassium for seed potatoes .. again it should be "5-10-10" or "8-24-24" or some NPK number that is roughly 35%-50% Nitrogen compared to Phospherous and Potassium, as this is, generally, the best, or near-best, ratio for good Potato Harvest .. you may need more nitrogen at the beginning of the cycle, when the roots are first establishing themselves, but you do NOT need extra Nitrogen at the flowering cycle - the greening and flowering above ground REMOVES energy from the tubers it is competing against below ground -- and will make the tubers slightly smaller, especially of the soil is dry or the soil nutrients are below par .. I love your micronutrient, fungi and bacteria addendums, but I would need to triple the potash fertilizer ratio if it comes at "5-10-4" , depending, of course on the soil test ..
Hi Luke and Cindy, honest question: why did you change the concentration of the formula for Trifecta? can you explain please or if you have covered it in a video please send a link. I cant find anything on it. Thank you.
They didn't change the formula. They changed the labelling. It previously gave the info for ALL of the contents including the slow acting ones... Now it only shows the immediately usable nutrients.
Soooo, I’ve already prepared my veggie beds with compost & chicken manure. I’ve already put berry fertilizer around all of my berries. Can I still put the Trifecta plus at the base of my tomatoes, peppers, etc.?

Why the trifecta + has different numbers on the packet when we go online to buy the product.
Does it have less nutrients now?
There isn't less nutrients, by law the numbers had to be lowered to reflect only the immediate release percentage not the slow release percentages.

I was going to ask that same question. The NPK 10-13-12 fertilizer is better.

I noticed on your video the bag has , 10-13-12. But on your website it only shows bags with an NPK of 5-10-4, for sale. Just wondered why
I need this stuff. Always start strong and end up with hardly any fruit or veggies in the end. Also didn't know it was your product. Actually want to buy more now that I know it supports a small business.
I notice that you are using 10-13-12 but on your website only has 5-10-4 which is a different ratio
Sounds awesome! I will try it but i have a question. Plants generally use npk at a rate of 9-3-6. I worry about hight phosphorus ratio.
Lol
I got my bag of Trifecta+ in the mail last week. Can’t wait to try it out with my transplants! 😬🌱
king cobra I wish! More like squashes and eggplants.
Just ordered some! Excited to try it!
How would you apply trifecta for garlic? Would you broadcast it on a 4x8 bed or put in with each bulb?
Thanks
Hi Luke. Have puchased Trifecta...LOVE it, need more. Enjoy ur videos. Show more with ur sweet little girl, she's getting so big. In ur video is that a portable green house on ur lawn? Where did u get & how do u use it? Thx again for sharing ur kn owledge:)
Just ordered, reasonable shipping to Canada, happy to support
Hi Luke, I am new to your channel but I find myself addicted to it. You really give great content and easily understandable. I have recently had to change my diet to be completely organic for health reasons and my husband and I have started to grow our own produce. I wanted to know if there is anything in your Trifecta+ that would be considered "not organic"?
I just heard my answer. lol. Is your website the only place I can find your product?
Definitely going to get some of this- I do container gardening and do all season gardening so have been getting some deficiencies lately and plants not thriving due to depleted soil.
Courtney McFarland That is so typical, depleted soil will ruin the garden.
Do you still use a water soluable fertilizer thru out season ? For leaves to intake etc..?
7 year later comment. Sorry.
Can you help explain the change in N-P-K to the current 5-10-4? The 5-10-4 works fine but I like that the original version was even more balanced. Thanks and please advise.
PLEASE HELP! I just started my pepper seeds and mixed trifecta in the soil. However after two days with the dome on they are going moldy! What did i do wrong? Peppers need to be warm so?
Ive been watching you for a while and i just ordered a 6lb bag to try it out 😊
So when do I put trifecta on, then how about the innocullent that you sell? I am planning for spring.
Personally I would use the trifecta as a replacement for the 5-5-5 and then continue on with your cocktail.
Keisha Seaton I am now using Dr. Earth fertilizer for vegetables.
That's a heck of a pitch! I think I need it in 5 gal buckets😅
I didn't record where I added Trifecta, but I can tell where it was because I haven't had to feed them since. Good stuff.
I'll be trying this for several plants I have, I'll be using it with strawberries, mangos, Korean melon, dragonfruit, pineapple, citrus, and figs. I'll let you guys know how it goes.
It smells kind of funny but in a good way and that usually means it has good active ingredients.
Luke, you're the legend. Thanks :D
What gives, this is now a lower ratio of 5-10-4??? Anyone compared the old 10-13-12 to this 5-10-4 ratio?
the bag you show is not on your website that i can find
Did you change the formula?, I noticed the NPK on the stuff online now in 2020 is 5-10-4, but this video has 10-13-13.
@Are You Coherent Nope!
I would also like to know.

EarthNatureArt This guy is not a horticulturist, botanist, scientist....no professional trading. Buy Jobes....it natural with bio-organisms. This guy is an alchemist....guessing.
Hey no wonder I haven't been able to find trifecta plus lol how can I get some? Says not available on the site 😞
With this sold out, what alternative should I look at getting?
Just dressed my plants yesterday! Will post lots of progress on my channel.
We cant wait to see the progress!!!
Thanks for the video! I just bought Trifecta+ so I'm going to give it a try.
Are you also using a raised garden bed “ complete mix”?
i just ordered trifecta+ from you and on the bag it has 5-10-4 the bag in your video looks like it has 10-13-12 on it?
Hi Luke will this work on greens over the winter in the green house?
Just bought some today to try with my tomatoes.
Does Trifecta contain any plastic polymers like other slow release fertilizers?
Two questions:
1. Which size bag is that that you are holding?
2. What is your best way to clone a tomato sucker and get them rooted the fastest?
I've always just rooted them in water outside and as soon as it gets good roots I would transplant it :)
Its all sold out
When will you have the 10-13-12 back on stock?
Ok...but what is it made of? What are the ingredients used to get these nutrients? I can't find it anywhere on the internet.
Here to vouch for Trifecta +, I will never buy anything else if I can help it! I noticed a difference in 3 days!
Hi Luke and Cindy, honest question: why did you change the concentration of the formula for Trifecta? can you explain please or if you have covered it in a video please send a link. I cant find anything on it. Thank you.
That’s what I’m here for now. 2 years later. @MIgardenre
They didn't change the formula. They changed the labelling. It previously gave the info for ALL of the contents including the slow acting ones... Now it only shows the immediately usable nutrients.
Awesome product! YAY Luke!
Rene Mace :D thank you Rene!
Soooo, I’ve already prepared my veggie beds with compost & chicken manure. I’ve already put berry fertilizer around all of my berries. Can I still put the Trifecta plus at the base of my tomatoes, peppers, etc.?
I've been following your channel for a while and i must say I've been learning a lot. How do i get this product to Trinidad and Tobago? 🇹🇹
Just catching the Trifecta bug this year, any chance this will be in stock soon? Also your above link might need an update, found it visa search on your store. Loving your channel, thanks for all the info ☀️ 🐜 🍅
Jennifer Steakin I just bought it last week
On the website it says it's on a waiting list.
its in stock now go check! 05/16/20
@@bcarine8908 and it's out again lol
I really appreciated the packaging when I accidentally left it outside and it rained! Perfectly dry inside the bag. Tomatoes are growing like crazy!
Robin Goodrich hahaha i bet! I am not a professional printing company, $1 per label for waterproof, it is just not economical in the least.
***** lol yeah the label isn't as pretty but that definitely wasn't my concern!
Robin Goodrich We are working to fix that problem.
So this would be good to put in my garden instead of some 12-12-12 fertilizer, right?
