Thanks Belinda. We have plenty of days with depression like everyone else but who needs to watch that!🙂 Our videos try to stay focused on sheep farming and the sheep not our mental health. That would take up a whole other TH-cam channel!🤣🤣🤣

I'm guessing Thelma and Louise will have the coverall mastered by nightfall!😂 Maybe from time to time Thelma can walk back over with you to the heifer barn for old time sakes. By the looks of the sunshine you will have daffodils and clover blooming for the bees! Thanks for a great video guys and stay safe!!
Thelma and Louise (but especially Thelma) seems to be pouting a bit today. I am thinking she feels like she is just one of the crowd now instead of top lamb!😁😆 She is fine but more sheep-like today. So this afternoon, I added a playbox to her pen so she would have something to jump on.🙂
Truth Bomb I agree, Bee's are important It's really sad that The Climate Change Crisis might make them go extinct because they DON'T do so well in TOO Cold or Hot weather, Extremely endangered animal species 💯🐝💔 I love seeing all the cute organized chaos with the adorable lambies 🐑
Yes, we want the bees around for sure. They are so important. But we are also hoping for those dandelions and clovers to start blooming so that they will leave the barns 🙂
Good Afternoon Thelma and Louise. Enjoy exploring your new home. I'm guessing that since you are not going to have fall lambs anymore the next logical step in downsizing would be to get rid of the Dorsets and just have Suffolks?
@@EwetopiaFarms Whew! I am so happy to hear that. I really enjoy them both. Yes, you have worked hard and been very successful in accomplishing those goals.
Good evening Arnie and Lynn. Another beautiful day on the farm. I can see the work you guys did in your yard. Going to look good as the trees push out their leaves. The leaves are starting to peek out here The boys looked like they were enjoying the it time out. King of the hill was a little pushing and shoving to practice being a big boy. It was quite enjoyable to watch the ewes and lambs take a little romp. The ewes are just as cute as their babies. Luni is looking so grown up. She is still a beauty. It was quite the round up bringing the sheep over from the barn. Thelma looked a bit lost with the new surroundings. She will have to explore. Arnie spreading the hay looked like little hay explosions when he dropped it in different spots. The sheep did a lot of talking today. Loved it. Big hugs to you both. 🥰🥰🥰
@@EwetopiaFarms Thelma looked like she was missing her autonomy in the coverall. Hope she finds some fun playmates and I can see her trying to get into the feeder. After all she thu is she is a secret agent in charge. 😂😂
I love seeing those moms running outside with the lambs back and forth. They are getting some great sunshine today.😊 Your older lambs look so healthy too. And, those little younger lambies . . . well, I guess it’s easy to get lost when you haven’t a clue to where you are going. Bless the mom who turned back to help the other lambs. Enjoy your new playground lambies! I wonder what mischief Thelma and Louise will get into now.
My students enjoyed watching the last ten minutes of the video. My ewes are holding tight to the babies, but Moo is ready to lamb at any moment. My father heard that I needed some plywood for shearing time, so he gave me some particle board. He claims it is more slippery (and thus better) for shearing than plywood. Do you have any thoughts on that? Speaking of the particle board, dad brought it out to the barn (even though shearing is a couple months off) and leaned it against one side of the barn. Now the two lambs have chosen the narrow space as the perfect spot for napping. Lambs, Like Thelma and Louise, are the masters of their environment.
Hi Lynn, You said it was 10 degrees warmer, so does that mean it's 20 degrees outside?? I just can't get over how much the January lambs have grown since then. ❣🌴
Ive got some honey bee hives & find they are always searching for food & water in spring. Also that the bees actually collect the pollen-sized seed dust particles and yeast that are found in the corn & cracked corn. They are most active mid morning to mid afternoon.
Yes, that is what they are doing here. They are obviously starving so hopefully things will start to blossom shortly. They seem to love the cracked corn though!🙂
What a beautiful sight to see the sheep and lambs going outside and play... it is such a nice thing. They having a wonderful life at ewetopia farm... that's for sure... 😊 Thank you for let us enjoying that. A quick question... you are wearing a T shirt at 10 degrees??? I hope it is celcius... I can stand the cold also and my door is already open all day and night... but not in a t-shirt 😅. Brrrr... ❤
Yes, it was 10°C but hardly any wind and sunny. When you are doing chores, it is like a workout, so you get quite warm and have to peel off clothes. After months of freezing temperatures, 10°C feels warm. However, in the fall, after being used to summer temperatures, 10°C will feel freezing cold and I will have my parka on!🤣🤣🤣
@Ewetopia Farms same here... my door is already open and the head is of... the sun warms the house... a few degrees more and i put my swimmingpool outside... but the other way around, it's like you say... in fall, 10 degrees is like lots of blankets and winter pyjama
Sometimes watching your videos I think earmuffs could come in handy. Will your April lambs-whose mums took months to get pregnant-sell for as much as your January or December lambs?
@@EwetopiaFarms I was thinking more of implications for fertility breeding stock. A mother who became pregnant immediately in August vs a mother who spent four months with a ram before becoming pregnant in December. Would you just sell the latter lambs to farmers who aren’t interested in out of season breeding, or is it not that relevant?
@@alisoncummins2726 I'm thinking it isn't relevant. We don't know why they didn't catch - got sick, absorbed a lamb, were from last year's May group, etc.
