I love this dog! I have one that’s the same color. His name is Midnight. He talks like that too. He’s still kickin it, even at the age of 10. He’s been taking seizure meds since he was two. They said that he probably wouldn’t live past five because of his liver. He gets bloodwork done twice a year, and it always comes back perfect. Midnight is so nice, he won’t even fight over his bones, lol.

Speaking to the point about children, the usual cause of issues between any dog and children is that rarely are children provided with proper training around interacting with dogs. Behaving erratically is exactly what will cause a dog to become on edge, since the dog is uncertain of how the child is going to behave - perhaps it is a threat, perhaps not, and any creature will always err on the side of caution when it is in a heightened state of awareness.
