I remember when you filmed this in 2010!

In 2013, the original North Garden elevator at Mall of America was removed.

I personally still call this the East Broadway. I think they only wings they heavily renovated were the West Market and North Garden. This and South Avenue seem to (mostly, aside from floors and such) be the same.

You guys know these elevators get super busy during the day and I hate to say but I wish these elevators were traction for 4 floors and same thing with South Ave. However the motors are very nice!

These are some very nice elevators with some very nice motors!

Considering they’re “mall” levels, the total travel distance these elevators go is a lot higher than a traditional 4 stories, so this would be probably the equivalent of 6-8 stories. These are definitely HIGHdraulic.

Nice video Andrew. I usually come here all the time (when the world is normal) as I live only 20 min away. Technically this is still called the “East Broadway” wing, but I agree it doesn’t apply that much anymore. The management has seemed to improve over the years, as they seem to be very nice! Glad you could make it here and here retakes. I usually don’t ride these when I’m here as they’re usually mobbed, but they’re still fun to ride regardless.

Since it's four mall floors, it's taller than four regular floors...

Also have you filmed the elevators in the new wing that was built a couple of years ago?

I didn't like the fact why they have to cover up the glass window of advertisements. But the dry powered motor sounds lit
