It’s to accompany, first the frustration of not being able to read the charts and, then the comforting teaching moment. Like an old man passing the torch or something
This made me smile - I have been looking for this knowledge in books and online for a few weeks now without too much success and a lot of confusion - and with a 2 and a half minute video you have given me a solid foundation knowledge of 'how to read a weather chart', thank you so so so much for this, you have made my day :)
Thanks for this. Most of it was known already, but you have explained a few unknown things clearly for me. A couple of questions arise, however: 1) What does a dotted black line mean? Is this the same thing as a solid black line? I2) 'm also seeing front lines with alternating blue and red triangles on opposite sides of the line. What exactly do they mean?
Do stop moaning, you should be grateful that this Video is on TH-cam Also, the Music makes the Video a lot more interesting and the text is a perfect speed
The content is good, however, I teach meteorology to children and I feel they would switch off watching this. The video needs enthusiastic audio and less depressing music.
One: the music is opinion, and is not depressing in everyone's eyes. Two: 'they would switch off' is rubbish. It's 2 minutes long. If they get off track, so what? You can get them 'on track' again. Plus, everyone is saying it's helpful anyway.
I didn't like this tutorial. The information provided is not completely accurate, which is surprising for such a distinguished institute like the Met Office... moreover, the piano music in the background is distracting. At first, when it was overlapped with the speech, I thought it was coming from another youtube video, accidentally opened on another tab. I gave it a dislike.
@@stephensnell1379 well actually it isn't the video contradicts itself. The text says that wind rotates anticlockwise around low pressure regions and then proceed to show the wind rotating clockwise around a low pressure region on the diagram.
The music is calming, but it sounds like it should accompany a period drama, rather than a weather chart.
It's very sad to me, it's an odd choice.

Very good, but please turn the music off.
Once TH-cam videos have music it cannot be removed
Mute your PC.
@@starwarsfighter2846 doing that means it's pointless watching the video
@@starwarsfighter2846 what's the point of even watching this video if you don't have the sound switched on?
@stephensnell1379 there's nothing of value the music adds. It's like watching a silent film, practically
