Pakistan's Most Beautiful Roadtrip (Deosai to Astore Valley)

- Taking a roadtrip through Pakistan's most beautiful National Park was the best decision! From Deosai, It took us 7 hours to reach Astore Valley, where we would eventually spend the night. Along the way we stopped at several viewpoints including the beautiful and cold Sheosar Lake. This was probably one of the bumpiest and difficult roads i've ever driven on! It certainly isn't the easiest road but was definitely the most beautiful i've ever experienced.

If the road was smother you would not look so beat up, enjoy the fresh high mountain air and scenery.
It shouldnt.. its the highest national park in the world and tourists and kashmiri nomads are destroying its flora and fuana .... tourists bring pollution and nomads with their animals destroy grass and plants which take a very long time to.grow due to the height.

I visited Multan in 1991 to visit the old steam engines in Khanewal. The locals thought I was a spy. I couldn't take many photos. Are the engines still there? Greeting from Australia.
Pakistan's northern side truly mimics how life really is, which is how one has to work hard to succeed. Similarly, to reach a beautiful destination, you always have to go through a long journey and a treacherous path. But as soon as you lay eyes at the view in the end, the whole journey becomes worthwhile. Your videos make me nostalgic about my time in the north, hoping to go there again next year.

Keep in mind that its enemy of Pakistan who spread false rumours about Pakistan. Just visit and Pakistan and know the reality of love, affection, hospitality in addition to planes, high mountains and beautiful vallies in Northern Areas of our country.
The best view comes after the hardest climb.

Anyone have recommendations for good driver/ travel agency in Skardu that will show me all the best beautiful spots within a few hours distance ?
people in skardu all are nice. They are honest and generous and hospitality at its peak. you can visit any tourist guide they will help u in that. no big deal. try to drink local water as much as u can. it is purest and fully medicated. v good for health and long life . even if u drink 1.5 liter water, u will feel like u drank nothing.

Actually in northern area they always keep mug and bucket for shower.because when in extrem cold weather pipe water frozen and they provide water in bucket.

We camped for two nights at Deosai and had a wonderful time
InshaAllah in few years, all the roads will be carpeted, and it will give a boost to Pakistan's tourism, but still many people come here only bcz they want to experience these dangerous roads

The best time to visit Deosai is from 01-jun to 31-Aug when it's lush green and full of flora. You must have to spend at least one night there to fully explore and enjoy its beauty. And even in summer Its quite cold and chilly especially at night. I have witnessed snowfall in August when it's the peak of the summer season in the rest of the country.
D valley, probably looked more beautiful during winter when it's snow capped.

Deosai National Park receives snowfall throughout the year as its situated at (14107 feet / 4300 metres) above sea level pretty cool

Drove through Deosai a few days back and the scenery was amazing. The road though takes your driving test but the beauty of the place makes up for it.
Sheosar lake is very very beautiful. One of the top recommended place from me.
P.S. There are other hotels in Astore as well who offer wi-fi 😉

deosai changes color based on seasons. in autumn it will be all dusky orange in winters its all white and in spring and summer its all green
