The car is so cool, but maybe the coolest part is that the guys are so open about the setup and specs. There are a lot of people with a lot more boring cars who are super secretive about everything, especially in the top speed world.
I personally think this is what Build Biology should be. The quick and dirty format is okay, but this kind of candid info is priceless. Thanks for sharing.
Wow, the years of experience just flowed so smoothly, they had a story for every reason they bettered the vehicle. Definitely one of the best Build Breakdowns/extras! I'd love to spend an afternoon watching them work, so in sync with one another.
Yesss need more of the deep conversation about the cars, getting down into the nitty gritty info and the hows, whys, why nots, how comes. Its so fascinating to learn about all this stuff.
if they are using the same alingment for road racing and straight line...they are leaving a lot on the table at both disciplines! For instance, an alignment for Daytona road course which is lots of high speed is way different than say Sebring, and thats just on 2 different road course! I'd love testing alingments for 270+!

supersevenn trust me with driver preference and what event we are running the alignment is fine tuned for what ever ! Based on suspension geometry on this car. There is only so much you can adjust since it is not a single use purpose built race car I’d say weve been pretty successful
@@thomashalley7258 yes I know, but from all all what I know, even the strictest laws in the USA are faaaar from the laws here. For example: You can put a testet and certified suspension like KW-V3 on your car, and some nice Wheels, even testet and certified. You have to check and register every thing at the TÜV. Actualyt you have to register nearly everything at the TÜV thats not stock. And even if its official registred and written into your papers, the Police can stop you an say that they doubt the registration and your car is immobilized. Instand. You have to walk home. I could sit and talk to those guys for hours about that car. I gotta give a whole hearted Thanks for this one.
I could listen to them talk about this stuff for hours.
This was awesome to watch/listen to. Shout out to Jon Chase for asking the right questions and then just letting them talk!!!
God, I remember going to that "museum" in Laughlin as a youth! But I knew how special it was back then too!
Sick bonus!
Again..... I’ve been a fan of this car since ‘87.... and I will never tire of hearing more and more about it. #protouringcar1
I've been in love with that car since I was a teenager, and it's the reason I own one now!
This car lives the the life of a princess....... so awesome
The way that dude talked about how scary tires are is pretty legit. It's like a bomb going off at that speed.
Probably my favorite featured car of all time. Till you bring something in even MORE B-A-N-A-N-A-S!
This is one bad ass car. I hope to actually see someday.
I've never seen a car like that before. Really mind blowing.
LSR TIRES ARE A MUST
Its so clean you can eat off of it
senqu can roll my doink on it 🙏🏽
Best looking and coolest exhaust I've ever seen. Want that style in e46 m3
Love Big Red!
BIG RED NEEDS TO RACE THE HOONICORN!!!
Thank you for sharing this
Will u guys be at the silver state classic. In May 2020 would luv to see u guys there
Now these guys are hoonigans for sure
Thank you, Jon.
Two great videos on ths car Thanks
Favorite video tbh
Well I watched that Flying Brick at 200+ on NV 318. And I hear you on the tire issue. Tire manufacturers need to up the specs for the games we play.
love that car. id be interested to know what kind of 1/4 mile times it could lay down, geared appropriately of course?
hopefully this is me and the homies in the future lol
sick dudes!
This car is EPIC
I remember seeing it at Riverside
Chevy gang 🤘
Quality !
Dope
So sick
They seem so much more comfortable in this video compared to the Build Bio...

This is a legitimate question. Why would you need a specific alignment for a straight line, and what is usually done for it to be "better".

Update:
That Gt 40 out of Texas went 303mph at the Texas mile.
@TheHoonigans going to #ppihc 2019?
OH MAN! I love your (non-existent) restrictions in the USA. In germany it would be impossible to drive it on the road -.- TÜV SAGT NEIN
It depends on the state. Some are strict and some just need a headlight tail light and turn signals.

They have atv light kits with turn signals in england. Not sure about Germany though. I do miss riding my atv everywhere in montana.
