This theme left a very real impression on me. In the game, you realise you have to cross through a valley where there's high wind, and your ship isn't strong enough to cross. This forces you to go on a quest to find a stronger engine or a stronger ship. It's a trial just to accomplish that. When you finally are able to enter the pass, you realise all too late that the enemies in this environment are merciless, and your ship struggles against the wind. If you let up, you are pushed back. How merciless are the enemies? A common enemy in this pass has an instant death spell, for one thing. So, you're hoping to finish the fights before these enemies finish off a character. So, as your supplies of healing items begins to dwindle and you start thinking you'll have to turn back to get more supplies, you start seeing green leaves blowing past your ship. This gives you a dangerous thing called, "Hope", so you press on against your better judgment. You still have a ways to go, as it turns out. You still have a lot of encounters, but the blowing leaves promise respite, the thought of turning back having been blown away with the leaves. Lashed by the winds and the wicked spells of the monsters here, you finally break through the wind, and spreading out before you is the source of the leaves. An enormous Amazonian jungle. The insidious monster encounters have been left in the pass you've just barely escaped from. You're eager to arrive at the town you can see at the base of the forest, hoping they have a good inn and a shop where you can replenish your supplies. Whoever created the scenario that leads up to Ixa'Taka was a genius.
I have never had to use delta shield and so many healing spells in my entire life and all the supplies in the world don’t prepare you for that run. No wonder exile island is at the mouth of this great beast of a route to the games literal el dorado the golden city of Rixis so much in this game for a history nerd to love so much in this game that we could use to teach kids in school and have fun doing it to. Nothing but love and great way of telling the way this route went. See you in the skies my fellow blue Rogue fight tyranny wherever it may rain and defend the skies from Valuan and black pirate alike my friend also beware of Clara and her pink sails to!
I remember having a challenge race with my Dad to get to that stat guy near the end of the game without any deaths or running from any battles, just to see if he actually had something positive to say since even one death or retreat has him insult you. The journey to Ixa'Taka was a major challenge and I had to reload more times than I'd like to remember. Still, when I finally made it, I just put the controller down and quietly vibed to the music for a while. It really left a massive impact on me and I will always love this track because of it.
@@bub777 I could have sworn I responded, but my reply seems to be gone. There's a tiny island above the clouds over the dark rift. I didn't remember this until I read your description. Yes, that was tough and it was such a great gaming moment. We had a golden age of gaming and didn't even realize it! Such a good game. I played it on dreamcast
Great theme, you feel the native Latinoamerican vibes of course but also a bit of Spanish vibes.Imagine if in each continent the characters changed their outfits to the typical ones of that area,i think Aika in this continent will fit so well.
In this area a new sword for Vyse that could be nice is with zig zag shape,i meant with the shape like Soul Reaver sword or Solus sword from Fable 1 but a 1 hand sword and not a big one like these i said.

How can every track in this game be so good?
The random encounter battle music can be quite redundant, but in the whole it's a really good soundtrack. 😁
@@Terranigma23 Well it's an rpg not a fighting game that needs to be fast.
Hmm some are quite fillery. This is my fave along with the boss music when you’re winning and his health is low
1998-1999 and 2000 were golden Years for anything Art.
I know I can't find a single track in the skin it's actually bad

Best jrpg ever made
it's crazy how this game managed to get so immersive, the masterpiece soundtracks really helped and fit with the world perfectly.
The moment this track played, I knew this would my favourite JRPG ever.
Same for me. 😍
One of the best game of all time and i played it this year. No nostalgia involved
One of my fav Jungle Village themes from JRPGs or any other video game in general.
Because it's a authentic central/south american sound.
…この曲が好き過ぎて、このエリアから離れることができなかったくらい……まさか、また聴くことができるとは……ありがとうございます✨❤
Need so a remake of this game ❤
Gem ! Those were literally the days !!
This theme is the most beautiful one in the game in my opinion. 💖
Dreamcast
GameCube 😌💜Legen,wait for it,dary!
I used to just sit in the jungle and look at the sites as this game looked amazing when it came out, and this music made it transcendent
the most beautiful music in the game
For some reason sounds like a Pruvian song, but it´s beautiful, back then on dreamcast i just stay still just to enjoy this song.
look up music of the Andes its very much this
Definitely.
Sounds a-lot like peruvian panflute music
Great game. The music really iced the cake!

15 seconds into this I immediately subscribed....
This game definitely needs a remake
the song has a feel of latin america :D
I mean that's the idea right? I love that the music holds up even now
Flashbacks incoming!
I get wicked drunk to this song and have for over a decade!
Wonderfull! :-)

such a banger
2:03 my favorite part.
They should have added this song to the movie Apocalypto.
Wow esto suena muy parecido a la música Chilena
Star Wars Episode VI vibes
Ah yeah, I was thinking of the "Victory Celebration", too!
WHO WAS IN THE STUDIO?!
I want to play this on a piano. I need the notes, chords, whatever.
I think you may need a drum and pan pipes before a piano
