it's more so that it's not fiber wire. you can't get nuclear bright without fiber wire, HX model of this does use that though, and does get bright. And thanks! I think. I'd like to think I've improved since my earlier videos.
So basically it's the great BDC auto ranging reticle without any excessive features besides a cross hair which enhances the ability to shoot it when switching targets with good glass and image quality in a very solid, well built body with capped turrets for under $900 in a lot of cases that everyone is looking for? Explain to me why we even bother looking for the "entry level" or "budget" option to do everything we want and nothing we don't if we already have more or less a "lifetime" scope where you buy it, can use it effectively, and then proceed to use it forever afterwards being made by trijicon. I'm definitely buying one. It checks all the boxes and doesn't try to be anything more or less than it's supposed to be for a great price. There is no competition.
Wait for a Christmas, President's day, or Black Friday sale. You can probably get sub $700 like I did through Optics Planet this past President's Day. I'm not a big LPVO guy, but I like this scope.
What’s the pack you’re running @ 6:32? Looking for good larger rucksacks in Multicam. Hoping it’s not a $700 mystery ranch or something. But I gotta ask.
I’ve been waiting for a trusted review on this optic for a while. Now I’m definitely interested - almost seems like you’re getting the feature set of an ACOG with a throw lever. (I know I know glass quality, durability…easy people).
@@cornaynay88I ended up selling my Vortex Razor HD 1-6 to keep this instead. For where I have to spin the diopter, the 1x is just as flat and intuitive as the Razor, and I like the Credo reticle way more. If it had some easy windholds it would be perfect. Otherwise, great optic especially for the price.
I still sorta feel a 5x or 6x magnifier is a better option than a 1-6 LPVO, especially if you get something like the Sig Romeo4 Pro with the drop dot reticles. You'll have a better 1x, similar max magnification performance, and night vision capabilities for less weight that can be easily removed when not needed.
For sure if you value those things, especially in that order than it's a great choice. Hops a big RDS + mag guy. I run a couple setups like that. People that prefer lpvos do so because it's a much finer consistent aiming point, and magnifiers, even the bests ones really struggle when compared to even cheap lpvos. No free lunch here, just preferences.
This one is japanese made, and is undeniably a better scope. The 1-6 nova isn’t amazing at 6x because its really built for a flat 1x with super bright dot with still chinese glass. This is probably the best 1-6 for under 1k, great 1x, great 6x, quality and build feels premium. The nova will never beat this other than cost. If you don’t shoot much at 6x past 100 yards you probably wont notice a difference in glass but the credo is noticeably nicer in feel. I’d recommend just saving up for one of these. Its genuinely very nice to shoot with. But if you only have 500 total for an optic setup, then get the nova. Its not just as good, but its good enough for most of the shooting people actually do. I got mine for a hair under 800, so the price gap is decent but its incredibly clear
@thenovagroup Brock, down the road if you can get your hands on one of those Vector Optics Continental 1-6 or 1-10. Would be nice to see your thoughts…other than FocusTripp saying they’re a better pst ii I think he’s schilling for vector personally
I wish this video was on the normal brass facts channel so more people would see this video and get this scope instead of wasting money on other scopes
Has anyone made a reticule that somehow accounts for the change in zero through the zooms? Maybe that would be way too complex a reticule for a combat optic.
It actually looks pretty good once you sort out the crazy inverted L shapes in the reticle. Though they are a lot of visual clutter, I bet people who shoot matches with IPSC targets will find the reticle useful. Or people who use it for mil/leo on human targets. I got an SH4 6-24x a couple years back and I'm surprised at how good (but holy cannoli is it heavy) the scope is. Good reticle, decent glass. Punishing small tight eyebox above 16x, though. And some purple fringing starts around the same place the eyebox gets brutal.
@@TerminalM193 I don't mean to ask this to imply anything but have you really took ample time to adjust the diopter? I have a Sig msr and I was going to get rid of it before I really adjusted the diopter and it's 1x got really decent
@@TerminalM193 also I have the diopter marked in 2 places one is for 1x and the other for 6x when I have ample time I can adjust for 6x when shooting longer distances
@@hopewilliams6705 Good point, some diopters are very finicky and require a lot of patience as you look, look away, look, adjust, etc. The smaller the range of adjustment, the more time you'll have to take, it seems. Some LPVO scopes I've tried will have one good diopter adjustment for 1x clarity (avoiding fisheye or weird transitions) but a different one for max power reticle crispness. My Arrowhead 1-8x is this way and I put two paint marks on the ring for this reason.
if it had wind dots it'd be a no-brainer. trijicon: please for the sake of all things holy throw some wind hold assistance in with your reticles! there's a reason why the [now discontinued] ACSS ACOGs sold like hotcakes and now sell for more USED than they did NEW!!! you have range estimation for 800yds, but each mile an hour of wind at that distance pushes the POI of m193 a foot!
Spend more time going over your 8th grade Geometry lessons, you will find it very easy to spot the hold on your milhash reticle. It's only a right angle you have to visualize and you visualize right angles all day long in your life when, for example, you are driving your vehicle and orient your head and vision perpendicular to the road surface. When you walk your brain is doing 90deg work all the time. It's really easy and you don't need the cheater dots that clutter up your picture.
I have one of these. It fucks. Also, I disagree with no red dot bright illumination. I've had this thing out in the Arizona desert sun at high noon and it's absolutely daylight bright although admittedly that is with the scope on max brightness. Mine is a different reticle tho - mine just has center dot, yours seems to be the angular crosshair style. Perhaps yours is not the Credo HX model which is what I have?
@@novagroup2 well I have the HX and it's red dot bright, daylight bright, whatever you want to call it. It's very clearly visible and grabs the eye in the middle of a summer day the same as any red dot. It's one of the brightest LPVO reticle I've ever seen.
@@CatholicKit went from Razor gen 2 to the Nova. I prioritize 1x in an LPVO, and the Nova's 1x is about 90% as good as the Razor's while being much lighter.
Others have said it and I agree. Credo hx 1-6 is the way to go. Get that daylight bright dot and checks all the other boxes this one hits. Highly recommend
my issue with that is, you loose the reticle, which was the whole point. I personally find a razor, or delta striker is a better buy at that point as it gets brighter, and has a better eyebox
@@novagroup2 the reticle does leave some to be desired. C_does however showed that the credo hx and the delta Stryker are the same scope other than that reticle. Razor likely beats both, but it’s heavier and ~$300 more. I’m dreaming of the pst gen 3 line or pa to release a plx nova. That nova reticle is about perfect for me and I love a 1-6 sfp
because the objective is to get a nice reticle. If you want rds bright, then yeah of course, fiber is really the only option that isn't a nx8 under 2000.
For the life of me, I don't understand the benefit of a second focal plane vs a first focal plane. I have yet to see an SFP optic with a big enough reticle. I want the great big reticle I get with a fully zoomed in FFP. How are you supposed to use any of the features of an SFP when you can't see them ?
I agree with your opinions on a lot of things except basically everything in this video about your values on LPVOs. I don't give a shit about illumination. It's either dark enough that I can't be solid in my ID of targets and therefore shouldn't be shooting it or it's light enough that I can make out the reticle. But that is also because I prefer FFP. The amount of dumb ones that are basically useless is staggering. But there are a ton of good ones for 1-6x. And if you are taking the time to figure out your drop and windage before taking a shot you can probably do it with hold overs based on feet and inches at the target than with mil or moa dots. But the best part of FFP lpvo for me is that if I take a shot at 1x or 2x and miss, then decide that I need more magnification I can still use my point of impact and reticle without doing math. Because math is the friend of precision but the fukboi of accuracy.

Picked up a vector optics 1-6x sfp with similar reticle to the PA Nova and trijicon hx with fiber illumination.
nice, I'm interested in how those do.
Love mine and my 1-6 Delta Stryker. My SFP is a daylight bright as its not that crappy segmented circle
Primary Arms 1-6 with fiber wire is like 350 bucks. If I’m getting something premium it will be a VUDU or a Primary Arms PLx 1-8 compact.
I will have to look into this optic. A while back I Bought a vortex strike eagle 2, 1-8 sfp and…. Not very happy with it for my own personal applications…. Trying to sell it, it’s been painted but almost no use whatsoever because I don’t like it. If any of y’all out there want to buy it it comes with the vortex mount as well.
How much you selling it for? Also, any scratches or blemishes on the glass?
@@TerminalM193 no, no blemishes of scratches on the glass just don’t want the optic, 500. Optic runs about 600, and the mount is a little under 100 if I remember correctly
Got one of these online for $700 with an ADM mount included for my GPR, quite pleased with it.
Where the hell did you get such a great deal at?
@@TerminalM193Some dude offloading it on /r/GunAccessoriesForSale, you have to check often since things sell quickly and use common sense to not get scammed but you can get some killer deals there.
I’m over here with my old Schmidt Short Dot 1-4 that has a nice 1x and Aimpoint bright illumination.
I have the 4x and love it.
The real MVP is that MDR's trigger guard 😊
It’s not nuclear red dot bright but it’s plenty bright enough. It’s a bigger reticle so it takes more juice to illuminate, but it’s a bright enough reticle. This video reminded me more of your earlier videos, good job.
it's more so that it's not fiber wire. you can't get nuclear bright without fiber wire, HX model of this does use that though, and does get bright. And thanks!
Agree!
Wait for a Christmas, President's day, or Black Friday sale. You can probably get sub $700 like I did through Optics Planet this past President's Day. I'm not a big LPVO guy, but I like this scope.
I think sfp is going to make a resurgence....as well as dual plane rets becoming more popular
What’s the pack you’re running @ 6:32? Looking for good larger rucksacks in Multicam. Hoping it’s not a $700 mystery ranch or something. But I gotta ask.
crossfire Dg3
I have the credo 2-10 and it’s pretty good I just wish the reticle was bigger or I just bought a sfp
I’ve been waiting for a trusted review on this optic for a while. Now I’m definitely interested - almost seems like you’re getting the feature set of an ACOG with a throw lever. (I know I know glass quality, durability…easy people).
Update...bought one
@@ChrisToddRedcan we get another update
@@ChrisToddRedcan we get another update ?
@@cornaynay88I ended up selling my Vortex Razor HD 1-6 to keep this instead. For where I have to spin the diopter, the 1x is just as flat and intuitive as the Razor, and I like the Credo reticle way more. If it had some easy windholds it would be perfect. Otherwise, great optic especially for the price.
My thought exactly!
Dang, that Desert Tech MDRX looks good
thats the best feature of it.
@@novagroup2 😂 you AR 15 lovers. That’s like real truck fans talking about the Cybertruck.
Why is this style reticle preferred over a mil based reticle in the viper, razor, or some PA’s?
This budget scope cost more than my whole rifle set-up lmao, good review though, i might consider it in the future
yeah, it's not budget. Low Mid range.
@@novagroup2 is there anything cheaper that's worth a damn or are they all in the same pricing bracket?
@@ironfan998Well there is the vortex pst 1-6. Though it is rather heavy.
I don't know what the HX difference is. Everyone recommends that one.
it's a expensive vortex pst. I don't personally think it's that great.
Does jackoff scope work on short stroke gun?
Credo 1-6 SFP or Credo 1-8 FFP? Which is better optically? Any idea?
Get that ALX aluminum hanguard for your MDRX 😎
Can you give a brief value comparison between this and the PA Nova 1-6x?
@@CatholicKitI was VERY disappointed with my nova 1x. Everyone says it has better 1x than their slx 1-6x and they couldn't be more wrong.
I love my accupoint 1-6 mighty triangle for the win
I wish the strike eagle 1-6 sfp would come out in a premium scope with better glass. And a few better features
i mean that's basically this.
Razor gen 2 1-6x is daylight bright AND flat 1x.
yeah but some people want something with a nicer reticle (like me)
@thenovagroup Brock, down the road if you can get your hands on one of those Vector Optics Continental 1-6 or 1-10. Would be nice to see your thoughts…other than FocusTripp saying they’re a better pst ii
I think he’s schilling for vector personally
i mean it probably is a better PST, made by the same OEM. Weighs less.
What are the prices like on those things?
Y'all should check out the Credo HX 1-6 SFP. That one has a daylight bright fiber dot reticle, similar to the vortex razor/viper 1-6
Hey which reticle would you go with on the 1-6 credo ? Would you get the Hx version?
Where is the affiliate link? Am I just dumb?
Might have to go to his main channel.
I wish this video was on the normal brass facts channel so more people would see this video and get this scope instead of wasting money on other scopes
Remember, credo shot second 😂
#neverforget
Trijicon Credo 1-6 sfp versus Delta Stryker 1-6... Which one??? ...and why?
Is it too long to fit a magnifier behind it for the ULTIMATE DO ALL SETUP?!
The HX version has a daylight bright dot
sure, but the HX is just a worse SFP fiberbright then. The HX isn't a credo, some notable differences. Should be viewed as their hunting design
Here for the MDRX
how does the TR25 compare? I feel like it may be a lighter version of this one
Has anyone made a reticule that somehow accounts for the change in zero through the zooms? Maybe that would be way too complex a reticule for a combat optic.
Arken 1-8 please look into it!
The arken 1-8 has one of the worst 1x I've seen on a sub 600 dollar LPVO.... BUT.... The thing has a beautiful 6-8x range.
Looking at this exact lpvo
Video on the 1-8?
if it had wind dots it'd be a no-brainer.
trijicon: please for the sake of all things holy throw some wind hold assistance in with your reticles! there's a reason why the [now discontinued] ACSS ACOGs sold like hotcakes and now sell for more USED than they did NEW!!!
you have range estimation for 800yds, but each mile an hour of wind at that distance pushes the POI of m193 a foot!
The slx gen3 5x is the acss acog at home.
It's also better in some ways because you can adjust the focus
Spend more time going over your 8th grade Geometry lessons, you will find it very easy to spot the hold on your milhash reticle. It's only a right angle you have to visualize and you visualize right angles all day long in your life when, for example, you are driving your vehicle and orient your head and vision perpendicular to the road surface. When you walk your brain is doing 90deg work all the time. It's really easy and you don't need the cheater dots that clutter up your picture.
Was gonna buy one but ended up finding a used razor hde for about the same price and went with that
good buy.
I prefer the Delta Stryker HD 1-6 over this one, it is basically the same optic for 500$ less and with a different reticle
Perhaps yours is not the Credo HX model which is what I have?
red dot bright = red dot bright
Being visible, while useful, doesn't count
And yes, this isn't a HX
@@novagroup2 well I have the HX and it's red dot bright, daylight bright, whatever you want to call it. It's very clearly visible and grabs the eye in the middle of a summer day the same as any red dot.
It's one of the brightest LPVO reticle I've ever seen.
Are the bdc drop calibrated in yards or meters?
What’s the pack you’ve got on? Looks bigger than a 3dap but smaller than a monstrous 6500

Vudu 1-10 supremacy has entered chat
ehhh, neat scope for sure. Really premium. Not my cup of tea.
How’s the image quality on 6x?
Supernova is the content.
Would you pick this or an Viper GEN2 PST 1-6x?
this. I love rds bright illum, but I prefer a good reticle more.
Brassfacts Friday 🎉🎉🎉🎉
What kind of boots are those brass?
I went the direction of PA Nova. My wallet thanks me.
If you ever can swing the credo, your eyeballs will thank you (its an amazing scope)
Does anyone run a piggy back red dot on these 🔴
But why not just get a fiber wire one then
because the objective is to get a nice reticle.
If you want rds bright, then yeah of course, fiber is really the only option that isn't a nx8 under 2000.
Two BF content in one day? Big happy
So the creedo 1-6 isn’t fiber?
no. people confuse it with the HX which is.
Is this the best 1-6 LPVO?
hard to say, depends on your needs.
Where do you guys like purchasing used optics from? Gunbroker seems like a ripoff anymore...

I think that may be a unique thing to you. Most people find FFP either to small at 1x, and waaaaay to big at the max mag.
Come to Brazil
I'm not sure how that would even go.
