Alidis Hodge has always been my #1 choice to take over the mantle. However, Marvel has really missed up BP2 with adding a baby living in Haiti! Ridiculous storyline that Marvel put together! Chadwick understand that the character of T'Challa/BP needed to continue!!!

The role of Alex Cross is not new to on-screen adaptations. The first came in 1997's “Kiss the Girls,” with Morgan Freeman playing the hardened Washington D.C. detective.
This is the one I couldn't remember with Ashley Judd. Yes "Kiss The Girls" and then he also did "Along Came a Spider". Cross was always a very chill and relaxed character.
Dope series. Shoutout to the show creators for awesome casting and putting together a cohesive series. Can’t wait til next season. 10 episodes would be love.
Half way through it and enjoying it! Each episode ends like a page-turner to make you wanna watch what happens next. Aldis and his team select good roles for him.
I needed another couple episodes. Like A flashback episode that focused on his relationship with his wife how they met and a few milestones leading up to that tragic day.

When Morgan Freeman played Cross, his profile was not convincing for the character. Aldis embodies Cross, the writing is great and the supporting cast, just awesome. Well done! This series aligns to James Patterson’s Detective Alex Cross.

I was a big fan of "truth be told" on Apple TV, it was very good. Aldis Hodge was just excellent in Leverage, he is a very proficient actor , and I understand he is musically talent as well. As a reader of the Alex Cross book series, I think the TV show does a good job adapting the characters to TV . I highly recommend this show
You really need to check out "Leverage" if you haven't seen it before.. It's a tv series starring Aldis Hoge.. He is fantastic in it.. It's also the show that put him on my radar.

"CROSS" is set to be different than most series as it places to Black men as the leads (usually TV producers would try to "diversify" or "have someone white audiences can related to" like a white partner or even someone Latin. Thanks for a great recap. I've only seen the first episode of "Cross" and was pleasantly surprised at the pacing. I really liked that it moved right along. The reveal of the killer so early on makes me think he's going to be offing people and eluding capture for multiple episodes. I'm looking forward to watching the rest of this series. I was surprised to see real black people, masculine black men , brotherhood, black family, and straight black love on a tv show. No alphabet stuff thrown in just because. And I can't forget the beauty gorgeous dark skin sista that is the love interest.

It was good but there are bits missing, characters who are revealed but then you dont see what happens to them or how their situation changed (when you watch, you will see what I mean). I am trying to critique without giving away anything, as I am aware many People might not have seen it. I first saw Aldis Hodge in Leverage (shown over here in the UK, for a short while). I thought cross is Good.

So they figured out she had to have been the problem. Sampson goes back and arrests her and she's brought in to the police station in shame. There was a whole scene, not sure how you missed it. Not sure who the members of the Cabal are that you are referring to. But I definitely would say the black police officer who is in the room with the killer in the beginning - the one who gets riled up in the room. They barely show him any more.

My only complaint was the choice to use such low lighting. I had to adjust the settings on my TV to watch it and be able to see what was going on.
